About this cabin rental
Enjoy a winter getaway in this cozy cabin. Snuggle by the fire, read books, play games, watch deer, drink your favorite hot beverage. On sunny days, play in the snow, or walk or bike downtown to the shops and restaurants and enjoy the views of Pike's Peak.
The cabin has everything you need for a peaceful getaway with all the comforts of home. It has every amenity you will need, including a fully-stocked kitchen, forced-air furnace, luxurious bathroom, and a washer and dryer.
The cabin was built in the 1930's, but in 2021 the interior was completely remodeled. It went from rustic to luxurious. Every surface is new, yet it still retains the quaint atmosphere it has always had.
It's located in town on a treed lot near other cabins, just blocks from the main street, so many stores and restaurants are within walking distance.
It is completely insulated and has a forced air furnace, so it is cozy and comfortable year-round. The tightly sealing wavy glass windows are original to the cabin and still impart a wonderful charm.
The main room features a sitting area with the original fireplace and mantle–now with gas logs, and a clever fold down dining table with bench, just as originally built.
The new bathroom features a custom tiled shower with two shower heads including a rain head. The full kitchen has a stove and oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposer, coffee maker, and a full set of pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and glasses.
The wood-ceilinged bedrooms sleep 6. One has a queen bed that sleeps 2, the other has a twin over full bunk bed with a twin trundle that sleeps 4. Both bedrooms have closets with clothes hangars.
This charming cabin also features a vaulted ceiling with fans, a gas burning fireplace, a sitting area, a dining area, a dedicated workspace, a washer and dryer, a TV with a Roku streaming device, wireless internet, an outdoor gas grill, and off-street parking for two vehicles.
You do not want to pass up experiencing this beautiful cabin! It is part of Preacher's Row featured in the Woodland Park Historic Walking Tour.
There is no smoking or vaping allowed in the cabin. In addition, there is no smoking allowed outside anywhere on the property due to the fire hazard.

We LOVED staying at the Pherl! Extremely clean with all the amenities you would need. Having a washer/dryer was a game changer for us. Extra little things all throughout to make the stay excellent! Will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I had an amazing long weekend getaway at this beautiful cabin. The cabin was is beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail, it was spotless and had literally everything we needed. All the extras that were provided was an added bonus! We visited so many wonderful local restaurants, Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Most of all we caught up on much needed R&R. We would definitely stay again!

Our stay in woodland park was highlighted by the beautiful and bright cabin that we stayed in. To say this cabin is cozy is an understatement, it is THE coziest place we have ever stayed at. It has anything you could possibly need, and the fire place is PERFECT. Thank you :)

This is the neatest and coziest little cabin! We stayed here for a short we can to celebrate a birthday and had the best time at this cabin. It has everything you need to make for a comfortable stay, and it is just a great little spot. We certainly hope to return and enjoy more of the area.

Cabin was really nice and well thought out. Perfect place for what we had in mind which was a home base to cook meals and sleep as we spent several days playing in the mountains. Cabin is smallish but perfect for a couple or possibly a family but what it lacks in roominess it makes up for in amenities. Well supplied kitchen, gas fireplace, and clean as a pin. We enjoyed our stay and if back in the area would rent again...

Immaculate upscale and modern, with the rustic cabin theme. The pictures are true to form for what is there, what they don’t show and the best part we’re the many tame deer that walk through every day. Book this cabin and just love it like we did

Having lived in Colorado mountains for 11 years, this was exactly what I was hoping for when we decided to go back for a vacation. As a home inspector by trade, I am very happy with the remodel that was done to the cabin. Paul should be commended for whomever did the work! I surely wish I found this type of craftsmanship here in the southeast. We enjoyed our trip, and will look forward to the next time.

My family and I recently stayed at this cabin. Our goal was to get out of the city and to be close to nature. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my experience. The inside of the cabin is nice and as the pictures show. The cabin's location was not ideal as it was right next to the highway, literally 50 yards away. I knew the cabin was located near other cabins, however, the space in between is very limited and there isn't much privacy. There is supposed to be a covered sitting area near the back, which would have been ideal for us to enjoy the rainy weather, however, it was unusable because there was siding stacked up there. My overall rating is a 3, based primarily off the fact the cabin was clean and upgraded.

This was a perfect off-season, very private cottage. The property was delightfully decorated for Christmas. The fully equipped kitchen also included a well-stocked spice rack. The cabin was easy to find, accessible, and centrally located near restaurants, grocery stores, and quaint shops. We look forward to a return visit in the future (with the kids next time).

We live in Colorado Springs and came up for the weekend to get away. This cabin is perfectly located just outside of HWY 24 to where we could watch deer walk through the yard but drive less than 5 minutes and be anywhere in Woodland park. The cabin was pristine and very cozy and comfortable. I’m sure we will be back !

This cabin was so darling and wonderful! We loved the charm of the exterior and appreciated the luxurious updates inside! I’ve never stayed in a rental with SO MANY kitchen supplies provided. Seriously, the cookware was better than my home kitchen! We only stayed in the master bedroom and the bed and linens were so comfortable. I took the pillowcase off the pillow in search for the brand! That’s how much we loved them. The fireplace was so sweet and romantic. While we could have walked to town, we opted to drive since there was quite a bit of snow on the ground. All in all, we cannot wait to get back up to this gem of a family cabin - seriously not one item to complain about - all a positive experience!
