The amenities in the home are endless, and the details are well-appointed by your host, an avid traveler. The amenities are endless, and Uptown Modern will not disappoint! Enjoy a peaceful morning watching the sunrise over Canfield Mountain or an evening gathered around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows. It is truly a gem location to all the area has to offer!

LOCATION:
Geographically situated to avoid summer traffic, allowing quick access to the numerous lakes, Silverwood, downtown, and our sister cities - Hayden Lake and Post Falls.
Downtown Coeur d'Alene - 3.7 miles ~ 5-10 minutes
Silverwood - 15 miles ~ 25 min to the entrance
Kootenai County Fairgrounds – 1.3 miles ~ 3-5 minutes
Hot Shot Tournament – 1.5 miles ~ 3-5 minutes
Silver Mountain - 40 miles ~ 35-40 minutes

Nestled in a quiet, safe cul-de-sac, a short walk to parks, bike paths, and the grocery store. Our backyard neighbor is an elementary school, which provides endless views and unobstructed views of the mountains and breathtaking sunrises. We enjoy not having full-time backyard neighbors; however, it is worth noting that you will hear children playing during recess during the school year.

We are greatly grateful for your wonderful, amazing and lovely house. We had very nice time there, clean and light bedrooms, sweet kitchen…. The house was absolutely clean and comfy. We stayed there 24 people…. well, we didn’t have a lot of space but we wanted to be together, that was our goal…. To have time with our Lord and we had an amazing time.

This was an amazing home to stay in. I took my youth group to Coeur D’Alene for a weekend retreat and wanted to try something other than a hotel. I have never did a home rental before and was very blessed to choose this home and Emilyanne was so amazing with being patient with me. When we walked in the home she personalized a welcome note for us and had treats for us as well! She provided a s’mores kit for us and it was a huge hit for our teen! We adults liked it too! The house space was plenty for 16 of us which was what I was hoping for. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to unplug from things. There were several board games and even a corn hole setup! All in all we had an awesome time connecting with God and it wouldn’t have been the same if we went to a hotel. Emilyanne thank you once again for hosting us and perhaps we can plan for a winter retreat some time!

It was clean, and we had a warm welcome… I regret I have to leave a bad review. So much went array and it was an awful experience. We were traveling with our kids ages 7/8/9, we were contacted during our stay via text and email. We were clearly being watched 24/7 on the cameras. The location is very ghetto with very loud neighbors. For the price and expectations in extra contracts and extra deposits we were required to sign it was very disappointing. Very little amenities and watered down soap. One tide pod for beach towels ONLY. Lots of locked closets. It’s a split level home that has been very nicely remodeled. They have good tastes in decor. We felt very uncomfortable after being contacted about how long we were in the hot tub. ( camera outside) We were told 30 minutes minimum. The inside manual says 45 minutes and the contract says 2 hours per day. We were charged 100.00 for checking out 15 minutes late. Due to three small children being with us, we had to run back in fast for a potty break. We were accused of not showering before we used the hot tub, she accused us of having more guests than we said, all of this can be proven with cameras. She was just trying to stiff us. It was just a little strange and unsettling. We were told we didn’t wash the towels and we did. I would not recommend, and definitely not kid friendly!

Every detail was thought of including a welcome gift for the new year. :) We are a family of 4 and had plenty of room in the 3 bedrooms. The downstairs den was also a comfortable place to hang out and the hot tub was a great touch. Nice place to stay and communication with the hostess was great. Superb home base to explore Coeur d’Alene and surrounding areas.

This was our first time to visit the area, and “Uptown Modern” was the perfect home for us. It is located in a great area and the home is very nice. It has plenty of room inside and out. Our experience with the property manager was very enjoyable. We would highly recommend this property.

Emily Anne was so thorough in her process and our stay was absolutely seamless! Her back yard and grill were wonderful for us and our dog Finn! It helped so much to not be in a hotel and have a place for Finn to run around and be himself. Thank you Emilyanne for allowing us to have Finn with us!

Uptown Modern is a jaw dropping cozy abode with all the amenities needed for a successful Bachelorette Party. Very spacious for games, dancing and funs. The home was sparkly clean and organized with not even a dust speck in sight. EmilyAnne was wonderful! She was very responsive and open to our requests. She even left a sweet welcome & congratulations note for the bride to be! Literally felt like a home away from home. 10/10 recommend!!!

We came to town for a gymnastics meet and stayed here with our family and friends. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working during our stay. 😔 The kitchen table was perfect for our group of 7 to play games. The Wii kept us adults busy as well. Great location and close to everything we needed. The owner kept in contact with me throughout the stay. Highly recommend this place, you wont be disappointed.

This property was advertised with room for 20 people. We used every bed available and can only fit 13 people. Seven people in our group had to find motels in Spokane which were very expensive. Everyone had planned to stay there. We put together this family stay months ago expecting to be together. Our family had been through a lot over the past two years and this was supposed to be a healing visit.We have rented other VRBO’s in the past and never had so much cleanup instructions. We were up at 7 AM on our last day there and cleaned until we left just before 10. Very unsatisfied.
