About this house rental

Enjoy a getaway with your family less than 1 1/2 hour from New York. This double unit cottage includes 3 bedrooms , 2 3/4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 family rooms and 2500 sq ft private grass fenced in garden with huge deck to just chill. Just minutes to the famous action-packed boardwalk, Casino Pier amusement park, waterpark and the sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean.

Sleeps 8 people. It is best suited for family groups with young children, teenagers or in laws/ No proms or large groups of adults intending to party please. Please note some attractions are seasonal.
Brogan Cottage is nestled by the Barnegat Bay in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. This is a 2 unit cottage that allows you to entertain in-laws, family or just give the kids their separate space. We welcome well behaved pets. All rooms have smart TVs, air conditioned bedrooms and it is truly a 1950s cape cod style cottage that we have kept true to its history with traditional furnishings and revival of all Seaside Heights historical glory.

The 1st floor has a parlor with fireplace, 2 bedrooms (1 queen & bunks with trundle), 3/4 bath with shower and a fully equipped kitchen.

The 2nd floor "the boardwalk Suite" has a separate entrance by stairs from the garden. It has a modern retro kitchen, the sky lounge that can sleep an additional 2 people or be the fun room with fuzz ball/table tennis, multi play table, big screen TVs, Xbox, tons of games and movies. It also has its own 3/4 bathroom with shower and a nice size bedroom with queen bed. Light just flows through this space.

Brogan Cottage is 1,000 square foot.

The fenced in 50’x50’ garden has a huge outdoor shower. It is heavenly set among a pine tree. Let the kiddies play on the trampoline, basketball, reconnect and play games creating family memories. There is a fire pit for evening gatherings and smores. The shed full of amenities, like two 26’’ beach bikes, fishing rods, crab cages, croquet, beach chairs and buggy, darts, balls, extra tables and camping beds should you want to take an adventure to island state park or set it up under the stars. Stroller and high chair ready first use.

It is 2 minute walk to amazing nightly sunsets over barnegat bay, explore the beach (especially at low tide), whichever direction you walk, there is a playground. Go fishing, crabing, or for those more adventurous, take advantage of boat rentals and water sports available at Dock Outfitters. While you are there grab a bite to eat overlooking the tranquil views and rustic pier. Bike Ride or hike on Island State Park trail.

4 beach badges are included and kids under 13 are free. For guest day or weekly passes can be bought on the broadwalk. Two off street parking spots at the house and there is free street parking for any visitors you may receive.

A mere 4 blocks and you find your self on the famous Jersey shore boardwalk and Atlantic Ocean. No matter what time of year this is a gem especially for kids with lucky Leo’s open all year round. Casino pier offers amusements like bumper cars and rides for all ages and preferences. mini golf, race cars and Breakwater waterpark with lots of quaint stores. Romantics will love the long walks along the ocean. Parents will love the fun filled activities and family vibe. Summer months, there are movies and live bands on the beach.

Great restaurants are lined up. Our favorite is Klees, a family orientated Irish place. There is no end to food on the the boardwalk.

Take a short drive up the coast to the aquarium in Point Pleasant or south to Atlantic City or Cape May.

No matter what your age.. you will create some awesome memories at Brogan Cottage. We trust you will treat our cottage as your own home.

I must say as a mom choosing the right place to stay is sometimes stressful. But with this property I didn’t have that stress at all. Nina and Nick has put so much detail into this home it was truly a wonderful experience. They had everything and I mean everything that we needed and even things I didn’t think of was there for us to use. The home is so cute and we loved the decor and absolutely loved the backyard!!! Definitely would recommend this home to anyone proudly. We will be back next year for sure.

My family and I enjoyed our first mini vacation at the cottage. It was filled with supplies we can use and very kid friendly. It had so many activities for the little ones and it was very beautiful at night with all the lighting. Really enjoyed it and we will be returning very soon!

We could not have chosen a better property. My husband and I traveled with our 3 children, ages 20, 17, and 13 along with 3 of their friends. Since it is two units in one house, we were able to put the younger 4 upstairs where they could be their messier selves. It was so nice to be together but separate. The house has everything you could want. The hosts have everything so organized. We had it all at our disposal between basketball and the trampoline, bikes, and beach chairs. It is decorated whimsically and nicely with a nice mix of modern and antique. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were cool. I could use the kitchen easily to feed the 8 of us and the two tables outside helped keep the mess outside. I would ABSOLUTELY rent this property again. We LOVED it.

The cottage was perfect for our stay with 4 kids (10 & 12) & 4 adults! The yard was amazing and allowed us all the chance to truly unplug! The house/shed was beyond stocked & organized and had all that we needed & more! The hosts were extremely responsive & accommodating. If we return for the Seaside Heights Sand Soccer Tournament next year, we hope to return to this property!

I recently rented this home and it was absolutely lovely! It was super clean and incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The place had everything we needed to make our stay perfect, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy bedrooms and a charming living area. The attention to detail was impressive, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

From start to finish, the Brogan Cottage fit every need we had for our stay at the Jersey shore. First appearance... what a cute place, very well kept, immaculate inside and out.The dogs were so excited to have a fenced yard. And we had access to everything that we could possibly need. Seaside Heights was a good location too. Our hostess rates a 10! She was so accomodating and a pleasure to deal with. We hope to return next year!

My siblings and I come to the Jersey Shore every October to celebrate and our stay at Brogan Cottage was amazing! The neighborhood was so nice and quiet, and the back yard so lovely for gathering around a fire to laugh and talk. The cottage is absolutely adorable, so cute and exactly as pictured. Nina made it so easy to check in and check out, we definitely want to stay again!

We have a large family with kids from 2 yrs all the way to 19 yrs old. This property accommodated every single need we could possibly think of. The owner went above and beyond preparing this property for us. The home is just a few blocks straight shot to the boardwalk. Overall this property exceded every expectation we had, we will be back every time we go to New Jersey!! Nina is a great host and communication was great! Highly recommended!!

Nina communicated so well from booking to check out. This made using VRBO for the first time a breeze. The property was exactly as described and the amenities along with the attention to detail was perfect. Not your average shore house rental they have so many things for the guests to use for the beach and house along with the things you forgot to pack tucked away in a cabinet or bathroom. The house was clean and the linens were perfect. I could go on for hours about this host. I will rent this property again without question.

We absolutely loved this cottage. Lovely upstairs and downstairs. It was great to come off the beach and relax in the nice backyard. The owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The beach is about 4 blocks away, but this neighborhood is very quiet. We would love to rental here again!

Nina's place was stocked with everything you need and close to all Seaside has to offer. If like us, you have a toddler who won't shower, a quick stop at Ben Franklin in Ortley Beach to grab a small kiddie pool is in order. It fits right in the outdoor shower, which was lovely.

We loved the backyard with the trampoline, basketball hoop & bbq. Enjoyed all the extras that came with the house. Enough space to comfortably sleep 5-6 guests. Just a short walk to the beach/boardwalk was also a plus. Host was very helpful!

The owners of this lovely cottage were very accommodating and helpful. Plenty of things to do inside and out from the board games, Smart TV’s, Basketball Hoop, Trampoline, Bon Fire, BBQ, Air Hockey/ Foosball Tables, and perfect Air Conditioning. This place is a short walk from the shore and has all the beach things you need! Thanks again, highly recommended!! Would love to stay again.

This property exceeded my expectations. The fenced in yard is fantastic for pets. The boys love the trampoline and the fact that they had their own space upstairs. Chairs and a beach buggy were provided. And the convenience of having the beach tags already there was wonderful. The property owners couldn't be any more helpful. Would definitely look forward to coming back again each year.
