The decor and renovation of the building is very well done. The terrace on the roof can be a pleasure. Also the location is in a very central area , near the best churches. Breakfast is ok.
I think everything is perfect ( just the room a bit too tiny ).

Lovely hosts. Access to a beautiful terrace with spectacular views. Comfortable bed. We got the triple room for extra space, light and views. Delicious hot breakfast.

As a solo traveler from NYC looking for peace and kindness, I'm so grateful I came across this ideal spot and wonderful hosts, Esmeralda and Javier. I stayed in "La Vista," the top room with immediate rooftop access. No one else was there during my visit, so it felt like I had it all to myself! The view and those picture perfect windows were just wonderful to wake up to. I even did yoga on the roof, and could see plenty of stars at night. It does get windy!
Talk to Javier about music and flamenco. He recommended a show at Tablao Flamenco los Molinos, helping me have an unforgettable Arcos evening! They're both honest, friendly, active individuals, running a few homes like this. I enjoyed my breakfast chats with them.
My favorite meals: San Marcos tapas and Aljibe for Moroccan.
Arcos is beautiful in its landscape and the souls of its people. Say hello to the hosts and people there and see what unfolds. You'll be changed :-)
Check in: no one was there even though I gave a heads up via Whatsapp, so a bit confusing at the start. But I called Esmeralda and she helped me self check-in. Bringing my suitcase up to the top was tough, but thankfully at check out Javier was around to help bring it down and call a taxi for me.
The stairs up La Vista are a bit steep, not great for bad knees. But the town in general can be stony/hilly. Wear good shoes and stretch :)
Wifi had some issues during my visit.

The house is cozy and beautiful. The location is very good. This was a great experience. Breakfast was tailor made with high quality ingredients.
This is just a note: as this is an old town, sometimes we can sense some sewers in the urban area. This is normal and not too annoying.

Great location, house and a super host. Javi made us feel at home for sure! The breakfast was also very good!

The view from the room was great. The room was generally comfortable.
The staff wasn't at the property when checking in. They did let me know in advance and gave me instructions to get into the property and the room. They also provided the locations of the public parking lots and direction to the property. However the instructions were 7 pages long and not necessarily easy to follow, slow to download and annoying to keep looking at it as we tried to follow. The box with the key was difficult to open - both my husband and I struggled good 10 minutes to open it. Our room was on the top floor, up the windy and narrow staircase - no elevator. The staff was responsive when exchanging messages back/forth to get instructions to get in. But if I knew checking in was this difficult before I made the reservation, I wouldn't have selected the property. Breakfast was fine. But one of the staff members decided to play the guitar really loud - we wouldn't have minded if we weren't trying to have a conversation or the guitar was tuned!

The view from the terrace is stunning! Even better than the view from the city's mirador. The breakfast was very good and genuine. The host was kind and helpful and provide us all the information.
The room was a little noisy and there wasn't any bottle of water.

The B&B is located in a beautiful old Arcos house and from the roof top there are great views all over the countryside.
Breakfast is personally attended to by the hosts and was good. There is a fridge with some drinks and other stuff that you can write down and pay at the end of your stay.
Parking is a bit of a challenge, especially when it's a holiday. But you will be informed by the host about the options on beforehand.

Lovely B&B in Arcos, comfortable accommodations, delicious and ample breakfast, friendly and responsive hosts, great location. Loved it all!
Just know that if you’re driving, getting to the B&B is difficult but doable. The host was extremely clear about this and gave us excellent information so that we were able to drive to the lodging and find parking, so this is not at all a ding against the property, rather, just something to be aware of. If you are driving, you’ll be given excellent advice about your options.

I did not have the opportunity to meet the owners as they don’t live at the premises and we arrived quite late. However, we got detailed instructions from the landlady and she prepared us a takeaway breakfast as I mentioned we had to leave early. Everything is arranged with great details.
Just one suggestion - the room has aa glass door so if anybody switches on the lights it can disturb you. Maybe some curtains would help.

Cute house close to all nice attractions
I liked everything, but if you have any difficulty to walk, it’s not the place for you . Many steps in the hotel and you have to walk everywhere in the city

The view of the superior room and the shared roof terrace is incredible. The room is perfectly clean and very nice decorated. Esmeralda and Javi are very outgoing and nice to talk to. They try everything to make your stay pleasent and wonderful. We had a great stay here.

This beautiful and unique house has so much character. Nestled in the middle of the old town, we were very central. The views from some of the rooms were exceptional. The owners, Emeralda and her husband (we loved his handmade jewellery too!) were the perfect hosts, they served up a great breakfast, which was included with the room and told us all about the intriguing history of the house, as well some good places to eat. Very clean and comfortable - a fantastic stay and a hotel the lives up to it’s name “Casa el Sueño”. We hope to be back!

A charming historic house in the old town of Arcos, tastefully decorated, lots of homely touches and very clean. Friendly and helpful hosts. Good communication of instructions and information prior to arrival. After we arrived we were given a map and tips on where to eat/drink (and some to avoid!) We picked the Superior Room as it has stunning views from the bedroom window. It was a very nice room and bathroom, and laying on the bed looking at that view was a wonderful experience. There is a communal lounge area on one floor complete with free tea/coffee and a very reasonably priced mini-bar. The roof terrace is lovely and of course the views are amazing from there. I would thoroughly recommend.
