We were very satisfied with our stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with everything. They even arranged a scooter rental for us. The food was excellent with plenty of options. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the pictures on the website are accurate – I would say the reality is even better. There are beautiful beaches nearby as well.

I love this hotel, I will come again for sure. I had a big apartment with a terrace and a mini kitchen (stove/sink) included. It was super comfortable, spacious, and clean. Pleasant staff are always there to help with any question. The hotel has a swimming pool and breakfast terrace with a great view of the sea. Drinking morning coffee with a sea view was my favorite experience in this hotel. Breakfast is excellent and diverse. The hotel is in a great location in Kalamaki, just a few meters away from the bus station for bus 21 for Chania town, and the nearest beaches Aggi Apostoli and Chryssi Akti. I will gladly choose again Kalamaki and Porto Alegre Hotel.
Wi- fi was not working in the room when I had checked in and for the first two days of my stay, but luckily the technical issue was fixed in the meantime

The staff was amazing. They even managed to get us some food delivered from a restaurant without delivery because we were too tired after a hike. Great location. Breakfast ok. Very beautiful terrace for serving breakfast. Pool was nice.
Furniture a bit outdated

Friendly staff, nice tidy rooms, great breakfast with a view.

It was super clean and and staff were very helpfull
I thought that it was more central to Chania city center, then we realised that we have to catch a bus from centre to hotel and the service stops at 1am. After that you have to get a taxi which is not expensive though

I would highly recommend to everyone who wants to stay in a nice hotel at Crete,Chania Kalamaki

The situation is super. Busses to Hania go next to the hotel and it takes only few minutes to the beach by walk. Breakfast was great and pool big enought. We had night flight, so we were allowed to leave our luggages to the luggageroom and use hotel´s shower before we left the hotel. Nice service :)
5.0
The cleanness of the rooms.
The breakfast was good but I would suggest a small improvement in an expresso machine.

A lovely hotel, with friendly staff. We had a twin room which was a good size and towards the back of the hotel which was nice and quiet. The air conditioning system was excellent and the terrace for breakfast provided a lovely view of the sea. The location was good with an array of restaurants and eateries nearby.
The road on which the hotel is situated is busier than I was anticipating, so there is some traffic noise especially when by the pool. But we got used to this.

good position, very kindly staff and good breakfast (continental)with a wonderful view. the room was clean and comfortable. it was possible to park the car inside the hotel parking.

Though outside a main area the beach was close as were 4 good restaurants.
Wardrobe space was limited.
3.5
Easy parking on site or on road in front of hotel. has a swimming pool and is close to the beach and some restaurants. About 15 minutes drive to Old Town of Chania, but also far less humid than the Old Town.
As other reviews on here suggest, noise at night can be a problem with sound travelling easily down the corridors. The staff were for the most part really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, as pointed out elsewhere in the reviews, two of the front desk personnel wouldn’t greet or acknowledge us on arrival - this just came across as unnecessarily rude.

Pool was well maintained and very clean. Breakfast from the 4th floor terrace was really nice. Good to have some parking available, even if it does fill up every night and we had to park on the street, there is plenty of street parking out front.
A lot of rules (there's a big list in the rooms). Its very unusual that they have a rule of no food or drinks allowed in the rooms. That detracts from the experience and that alone has lost the hotel some of my ratings. We would have like to be able to get take out and eat on our balcony. I've stayed in many hotels around the world and its the first I've ever seen that doesn't allow this.

We loved the breakfast and the location. The pool is a great bonus because the sea can be rough at times. The owner and the staff are very nice and welcoming.

We were allowed to check in early which was nice after a long journey. The hotel was quiet even though close to a road at the front. There were also some nice restaurants nearby (walking toward Chania).
Nothing.

Great service and very clean facilities. The breakfast buffet was also really good!
