This was a great place for my husband and I to spend the weekend exploring Cape Cod. My husband (6'1") had a little trouble with the low ceilings, but other than that this place was perfect!

You can relax at the beach right outside the front door, on the deck, or in this small home with great views or hike, fish, walk, bike in nearby towns. It’s such a great location we’ve been coming here for the past four years. The hosts are the best!

I was traveling through New England to visit Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Island and this cottage was an ideal location to stay while visiting. Loved the atmosphere: Quiet, serene, great views of Buzzards Bay. There were some miscommunications with the owner, but nothing major. Suggestions: Ppease leave a binder with information on the cottage that explains when the trash pickup occurs, parking details, where the basement access is located to do laundry, etc. I had to ask about these things; I have seen binders of information at other Vrbo places.

The view from this property is fabulous. The neighbors however, are very close. I could hear them from inside the cottage, with the windows closed. Also, I thought it a little odd that someone went to the trouble of making sure there was fresh cream in the fridge, but no coffee is provided. Strange to have one without the other.

Great location for Cape Cod activities. The bungalow was small, but the perfect size for my husband and I. It was right on the bay, perfect for beach walks and kayaking. Well equipped home, everything we needed. Will stay again there when we go back. Just a note, it didn't bother us, but the shower and some ceilings are rather low. If you are over 6 foot, you may have a problem.

Our fourth year at this beach front home. Every year is different with the weather or activities we engage in, however our stay at the home is always comfortable, charming, peaceful and we never want to leave. Great place for a couple and one child.

View here spectacular. Classic cape cottage. Neighbors were friendly. Cottage immaculate. Everything you needed was here, all functioned well. Some of the ceilings were low ( edge of kitchen and bath. ) If your over 5’10, you will be challenged. My husband said it was worth it. Top grade TP, and milk left for first mornings coffee which was also there. Thanks for the French press! Other coffee makers there as well.

1. We are relatively tall people 5’ 8” and 6’1”. Ceilings in kitchen and bathroom were very low. Had to go to the entrance to even comb hair. The bed took up the entire bedroom with one night stand and light that did not reach the height of the mattress (no reading in bed for even one and no reading lamps in cottage). Bedding was subpar. Only one lamp in central room. 2. One closet in bedroom that was 2/3+ full of household items. There were no drawers for guest use (underwear). Had to put shoes under bed or couch. We were on a two week trip so had large luggage. Had to keep it in central room to use it - could not empty and store in basement. 3. Cottage was moderately decorated - not the charm we were expecting! 4. Setting and view of the bay were fantastic!!

My sister, and I had a wonderful time staying in this cozy cottage! We were so surprised to see how wonderful it is! The cottage was perfect in every way for us. It was very clean, and welcoming.,The owners had stocked the cottage with many extras. We couldn’t believe that we were right on the bay! I hope we can go again sometime!!

In a community of houses but still felt secluded. Nice and cozy my my wife and I to spend our honeymoon in. Her favorite city is Boston and we were close enough to the city for multiple visits, without paying close-to-city prices. As others have said, if you’re tall, you’ll scrape the ceiling! I’m 5’9” and when standing at the kitchen sink my head touched the ceiling. Just something to consider. The house has everything you need for your stay! Lots of kitchen utensils. We made a nice steak dinner with veggies one evening and all the necessary items were there, including a meat thermometer. A cute and lovely place!

It is a sweet little cottage right on Buttermilk Bay. We found it very clean. We ate only breakfast in the cottage but all the necessary utensils & cookware were there to eat all your meals in if you chose. The air conditioning was a huge help on the few hot days we had. It is a lovely little spot.

Everything about this home is wonderful. It is a perfect place for relaxing at any moment of the day with a gorgeous view of the bay. The water is so clean and refreshing to swim in while the beach is quiet and right there in front of the house. We love that the home is close to hiking trails, the canal for bike riding and many places to visit. It is a small home; however, we had our son, and two grandchildren stay with us for two days They slept on a queen size air mattress that fit in the living space. There is a couch that opens up as well. The owners are fantastic to work with, you can tell they really care about their renters. This home is a gem.

This property is a gem. Many cottages by the water are only somewhat near the water and have no view—this one is ** ON ** the water's edge. You have an unobstructed panoramic view of the bay through a wall of glass usually reserved for mountain chalets. The secluded neighborhood was quiet, even at the beginning of summer. The cottage has a comfortable amount of floor space in the main room and a nice couch for watching movies when you are tired of soaking in the postcard view out the windows. The bedroom's queen fits in the room with just enough space to walk around it. Access to the bed for a larger person is easy on the side facing doorway. As others have mentioned, the ceiling height is lower than standard. The kitchen was well appointed and the knives very sharp. All of the essential kitchen hardware is present with ample counter space. We look forward to visiting again. It was so peaceful, we didn't want to leave.

Quaint cottage on Buttermilk Bay, Great view of the bay with private beach. Sitting out on the deck enjoy drinks and lunch or dinner. Nice breeze. Met the neighbors and were all very nice. One even brought my wife Fresh oysters that he caught that morning. Would highly recommend this place for any couple wanting to get away. Owners we're very accommodating and allowed us to get in early !!

We were very happy with the home. The location was perfect for our touring of Plymouth and Cape Cod. The house was very homey and comfortable and provided all the supplies in kitchen and bathroom we could want. We also had great communication with the owners, they are very responsive. We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. The description and photos are accurate. The view of the bay is lovely. Too windy for kayaking though. We biked the Shining Sea Bikeway from North Falmouth to Woods Hole. It was spectacular!

Cozy small house for 2 on the waterfront at Buttermilk Bay. Very nicely appointed and maintained, exceptionally clean. Hosts were available and very helpful. Had a great time biking and kayaking. Eating was great too! Anything you could need or want is within a 20 minute drive.

We were extremely happy with our stay. The waterfront cottage was very cozy and well equipped with an incredible view of the bay. We would highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing time at the "waters edge" and hope to return for another visit in the future.
