Less expensive than most but had AC and directly on the water

Location and AC

Had to search for someone to help us. Owner was gone yet note on the door said open. Had to ask other companies for help and other family came but was still confused if the room was vacant for us even though we booked and had confirmation. Also the door knob inside was broken and I couldn’t get out until I called for someone out the window 39 minutes later. Tried to get help with that issue but no one was around so I had to put something in the door to keep it from locking me in which made it inconvenient and not safe bc others could come in from outside…, it was an inside the room issue. Mother of owner was very nice to book us even though she wasn’t sure if it was already booked or not.

Feels like a bed in the middle of a night club

For one night it’s ok

Right next to your door there’s a nightclub, playing music supeeer loud. At least it’s good music You can’t close the bathroom door

Disappointing

Loud music from bar next door until early hours of morning, other guests or staff walking past rooms with a speaker playing loud music throughout the night and trying door handles - if on site staff they did nothing about this extra music. Did not sleep. Not worth it even for one night before catching the ferry.

Great room, still needs some tweaks

Clean room, very close to the street, beautiful dock, the staff was nice,

Trankilas is a bar close to the rooms it could get noisy at nite, the doors look a little unsafe, i thought someone might get in just by pulling the handle hard, the sitting place is nice, the lights were missing, so it looked very dim.

good location and nice rooms but very loud

great location very close to the ferry and nice room with working hot shower and aircon. wifi works too and they have some nice outside spaces like a long private pier with picnic benches which was nice to watch the sunset from.

like all the reviews mention it is NOT quiet or peaceful here!!! screaming children running around during the day then at night the tequila bar next door is crazy loud. funny part is the bar wasn’t even open the night we stayed yet they still play loud music until 2am!! ok for 1 night if you need to before leaving or as you arrive just bring earplugs

Good value for money

Clean room with needed basics at affordable price and nice, helpful staff. Nice balcony right at the end of the hall.

If you’re a light sleeper or looking to relax and rest, it’s right next to Tranquila bar, which gets pretty loud until around 2am. Small bathroom (particularly shower) with no hot water.

Cheap... not worth it

Location was good.. close to everything

Door barely closed... no lamp.. sink about came out of the wall.. towel rack fell off wall... nothing but COLD water.. no offer to clean room(was there for 7 days)

Lovely clean room with a beautiful view and AC.

The room was lovely with an amazing view, it was really clean and we had space to unpack. The pier and balcony areas were really nice. The location was great.

There was a party on the Tuesday night which we were not informed of. It would be really useful if we had known this in advance. I think it’s very overpriced for a Tuesday night as we were awake until 3am with the loud music with a dive exam the next morning at 7am. There also wasn’t any filtered water provided not even to fill our water bottles with. They also over charged us for our stay so we ended up paying a lot more than we originally booked for. The communication from the staff wasn’t the best at all which was such a shame as it was a beautiful property with a lot of potential.

I like that it was very close to the center, sea view. Great location over all.

That there was no heads up about a bar, restaurant, dive shop/ disco. It was all very loud, had some disrespectful noisy neighbors stomping over our heads all night.

Not worth the cost.

Placing a bar underneath a room rental is an awful combination especially when there is partying until 5:30 in the morning. Could have put a shower head in the shower, felt like I was showering with a garden hose

No room available despite booking

The apartments are very close to the dock just a few minutes walk. The staff were friendly and tried their best to help us.

We had booked several days in advance but when we arrived there was no room for us even though booking.com said there were still 2 available rooms that evening so we had to spend our day looking for other accommodation.

Close to the ferry and a decent terrace.

Down (or rather right) in the surrounding area of this "hotel" there is a bar that plays extremely loud music .. So if you intend to spend a full day and rest at night you are wrong! The word that describes this hotel is "party hotel". Very bad experience! Also the water was cold all the time.

Passable

Location was brilliant, right beside the ferry and the private dock where you can sunbathe was great!! Such beautiful sunsets and a lovely communal area to use the wifi. It's one of the cheapest options on the island and we needed that as we're on a budget.

The showers were cold which was fine but for the price it would be nice to have warm showers. We were originally booked for 2 nights but extended a few times as our friend came to join us and then I got sick so we couldn't travel. The staff tried to charge us $100 for a room when it was $60 on booking.com so we had to argue this and explain that this wasnt fair. Our last stay we got an email confirmation through booking but then the staff told us the room wasn't available and at 4pm asked us to leave which meant finding another place on the island. Very frustrating! They didnt seem happy with us extending even though we paid cash each time. Also there is an extremely loud bar that plays music right beside the accommodation. It opens Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday so if you want to sleep those nights, don't stay here!

the price is really good

there is the noisiest bar of the island right downstairs, so for person who wants to rest and wake up early for the next day tour it’s really impossible. I guess this place its only good for those who want to go to party whole night 😕
