The breakfast was good and generous. The location is sensational near the water.
The bedrooms are basic. We had two bedrooms and a bathroom for the three of us, but the hallway outside our apartment had a bubble-glassed window through which others could see the bathroom and bedroom entrances.

Sehr freundliches Personal! Super Lage! Leckeres Essen. Egal ob Abendessen oder Frühstück. Beides sehr lecker und vollkommen ausreichend!
Vorab: jetzt kommt Meckern auf hohem Niveau! Es gab keinen Fernseher im Zimmer. Naja. Braucht man auch nicht unbedingt!

Helpful and welcoming staff. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Good location for onwards travel to Skye and the Hebrides as well as local exploring.
We did find the walls very thin - poor acoustic insulation. I suppose there is not much to be done in a traditionally built property, but unfortunately we were disturbed through the night by some loud conversations in an adjoining room.

Easy to get to, great location, old fashioned quirky Scottish Inn.. staff are lovely and welcoming. Good breakfast with lovely views, good parking at the Inn. Pub next door great for food - very handy!
Bit dated, bedrooms need renovating! Think some is going on as our bathroom was new and the exterior of the Inn looked freshly painted.. would be great if the bedrooms got renovated too.
Single beds, very soft and squishy.. facilities are basic and it was quite pricy for what it is compared to others along our route. It was fine for just a night

Room was nice and clean, staff were great. Had tea/ coffee available but no Tv. This wasn’t an issue for us this time around. Location is great close to Eilean Donan Castle. There was a restaurant & bar on sight. Prices were a little up there, but there is a pub 3 doors down which do meals at a reasonable price.
We we’re down stairs out the back. You can hear others upstairs .

Great location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Not enough hot water for 2 consecutive showers. No TV in the room. Very low bed was difficult to get out of. Box frame of bed led to stubbed toes (me) and even drew blood on my husband's leg. Thin walls meant we could hear people in the corridor and in the next room.

The location
There was no attached bathroom

Only the dinner in the evening, it was really good!
The room, the noise og the doors, the toilet facilitily and the frustration by closing the doors… it was terribel … it’s far to expencive to stay there. The hotel is old.

Not as nice as expected

Excellent location, beautifull area. Great location to discover Wester Ross and Skye. Unbelivable, Eliean Donan Castle is in walking distance.

Great location and what you would expect for a nice pub stay
The door to the kitchen bangs late into night

A convenient locality, with a beautiful setting. Breakfast was a hoot, with a wonderfully entertaining host and the food was great too.
A little over priced.

The location was excellent. The room was clean and the beds were good. The breakfast was really good with the welcome addition of Haggis. The dining room was really good and the guy who served the breakfast was first class. On the final day he gave me the location of the cheapest petrol around. Great. The bathroom of the room was very good.
The room was very small and it is very difficult to keep a small room tidy especially when there is not much storage space. This constant messy state of a room leads to discomfort. We stayed for two nights. On morning 1 the breakfast was served quickly but was a little slow on morning 2 when there were more people in. That did not detract from the friendly guy who served the meal, they just need a few more kitchen staff when there are more people in.

Shame there was no evening food available at the premises, as advertised.

Beautiful location! Steven is a very laid-back and relaxed host and very helpful. He also owns the pub a few doors down and we enjoyed dinner there two nights in a row, delicious fish and chips and fantastic burgers. Clean room and comfortable bed. Highly recommend.

The property is undergoing change. The new owner has improved the showers which were the best we have had on our journey so far (5 weeks). It was a bit quirky but comfortable. It is close to a good pub for meals. real fast was good.
The towels were the size of hand towels but we asked for extras. It needs a good paint - lots of chipped paint in some areas. Needs more power points in the bedroom near a mirror to dry hair.

Location was great! Breakfast was great!
We we early in season so not everything open in area yet.

Staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was exceptional. Excellent location.

The Staff are what makes this place, the hotel is old but clean.
Had booked a room with en-suite did not get this, I would have shown both rooms and been given the choice. Luckily there was no one else on the wing we were assigned.

Very welcoming host, nice clean room with a great shower. Breakfast was very delicious and served with a good chatty waiter without being intrusive.
Would definitely stay again.
Nothing.

The breakfast was superb, as were the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to accommodate us. The hotel is undergoing renovation, but did not impact on our stay. We look forward to revisiting.
As far as we were aware, there was no lift but in an old building, that is to be expected. Any other minor hiccups were as a result of the renovations and were swiftly resolved.

location and staff were fantastic
staff really made the trip just simply nice warm people. accommodating and attentive
shower not powerful but this is to be expected in rural areas
3.9
people were great and despite the howling weather we got a great nights sleep
The problem with old buildings is that the windows do not shut out the wind so it howled through but only so much you can do with an old building
3.9
Very friendly hosts and staff, cosy lodgings , amazing food
It's a simple basic b&b rather than a hotel, but it was comfortable and a nice place to stay
