Ideal location for Norfolk Broads and quiet coastal villages. Close ot hosey Windpump, Potter Heigham, Horsey Gap and the seals. Perfect for us as cyclists on quiet countru roads. Property was old fashioned but we liked that. Plenty of space to not worry about being untidy!
Smoke alarms were broken. No tin opener.

Location was great and property comfy / spacious. Short walk to shops n excellent chippy. Space outside to sit. Parking good.

Big! loads of space, three separate rooms, bedroom, kitchen and living room. Kitchen well equipped. good internet connection, very private, np problems with parking, five minutes walk to the sea and a short drive away from plenty of other places in Norfolk. Decor a bit old looking but that didn’t bother us.
shower cubicle a bit awkward and small but there was plenty of hot water so not too much of a problem. only one small piece of soap provided. Stairs a bit awkward but also wasn’t a problem for us.

Really big and quiet. It is nice to have a big space and accessible.
I think having lights in the front of the house will be nice. Quite dark when coming in and out of the house.

The property was very well located and in a quiet location, although not the easiest to find it would benefit from a sign at the end of the drive. The owners were lovely, met us on arrival and showed us around the property.,we met them both and their dog Dilly . The accommodation has good parking facilities.
The flat is large with a great lounge, kitchen, separate shower and an ensuite bathroom, a couple of areas could do with maintenance, the bathroom towel ring was broken, and the freezer top box in the fridge did not have a door, and it meant our frozen food did not freeze until we cranked up the dial the following day . The washing machine did not work but the kind owners offered to wash our clothes for us which was kind.
If you aren't or your pets good with stairs which were quiet steep I would see if the ground floor flat is available as we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again if in the area . The pub Fisherman's Friend is well worth a visit, the food was amazing with a great selection including vegan and vegetarian food .
The removal of the old vehicles in the grounds spoilt it a little, and a few general maintenance things to sort .

The history and location were both wonderful, and the owner and staff were very welcoming.
We would have liked some more cleaning equipment for the kitchen e.g. a kitchen sponge and cloth.

We actually liked absolutely everything. We needed a base for cycling trips and that was ideal. Lovely, clean small village, a very spacious and comfortable flat, with everything we needed for a self-catering holidays. A very comfy bed, large sitting room with a comfy sofa, large well equipped kitchen. Separate shower! Plenty of parking space. Could not ask for more.
The hosts were brilliant, very responsive and flexible (we arrived 2 hrs later than planned), and had given us detailed instructions how to get to the house. Very friendly and provided us with lots of local info.
There is a small village shop, Tea-room and a pub in Winterton; good shopping in Caister-on-Sea, 5 miles away. it looks like there is a good bus service from Gt. Yarmouth, if one does not have a car.
2 taps in the washbasin - but that was a part of the decor ;o)))

Fabulous space, a real home from home. Hosts were excellent and Dilly is a charmer
