We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was very clean and well-supplied. The view is unbeatable. For whoever stays in the upstairs room, be careful of the slanted low parts of the ceiling - it is easy to hit your head! Our checkout time was 9am - it would have been nice for a later time since we were requested to start a load of laundry, take trash out, etc. But overall, a lovely stay and would stay again!

Nice 2bd/2ba home about 30 minutes to Bar Harbor and the Loop around Acadia National Park

Had everything we needed. Good location, the grass was immaculate and the view was also good.
Would stay there again for sure.

Loved our stay in this location! Quiet, clean and cute property was great for our family of 4. We did a number of hikes and kayaking close to Echo Lake and Long Pond. Great location for those that don't want the crowds of Bar Harbor, but want the beauty of the Island.

We had such a lovely stay here. The yard is impeccable and so relaxing to sit by the water or eat outside. The home had everything we needed and was great for our family of six.
The upstairs bathroom was a tad small for my tall husband as he had to bend over a little to use the restroom and we had some trouble not splashing water out of the shower onto the floor (but we just had an extra towel to catch the water).
I would definitely stay here again and it’s a pleasant drive into Acadia National Park.
Also, my teen son said the water pressure was great for showering!

A quiet, quaint and relaxing place to stay with my family. The owner gave us great suggestions for local restaurants (which were fantastic) and the vibe of the town was low key and chill (especially compared to Bar Harbor). The house was very clean and cute! I already miss morning coffee from the deck!

Very nice host who provide us with lobsters. The house is very clean and new, bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. Well maintained garden with a road to the coastline where you have every time a different view

The home was warm and inviting, clean and peaceful. Our only difficulty was the internet which was intermittent, which meant we had difficlty logging in for work and watching television. We did get quick responses from the manager but did need to call in for a work order.

We recently returned to Indiana after a 6 night stay. We are a family of 4 (two boys, 8 & 10) plus a set of grandparents. The cottage is a few years old and it’s been very well maintained. I was impressed by how clean the cottage was when we arrived. We ate breakfast and a few dinners at the cottage, and we found the kitchen to have everything we needed. We made a stop at Walmart in Ellsworth prior to making the trip across the bridge to Mount Desert Island, but we were thankful for the nearby IGA grocery store when a member of our party needed some last minute items.
After dinner or breakfast at the cottage, we enjoyed going down to the tidal inlet to see what might have come in or how things changed with the tide. We got very familiar with tide charts.
The location is an easy drive (approximately 30 minutes) to Acadia’s Hulls Cove visitors center and the Park Loop Road, but we loved the nearby Ship Harbor trail and Bass Harbor Head Light Station. Thurston’s Lobster Pound is a few miles away, and it was a great spot with fantastic food.
These items didn’t ruin our experience, but my parents could not figure out how to not soak the bathroom floor upstairs with the shower set up (rain head with no shower door) and the grill grates could use some TLC.
We loved our stay and would highly recommend the cottage to anyone coming to the area.

House is spotless clean. Fairly new construction and everything we used worked well. Scenic landscaping and relaxing setting. Owners were responsive to messaging questions. 9am checkout a bit tough. The quiet side of the island is indeed quiet, but Southwest Harbor is 5 minute drive for some shops and restaurants, and 30 minute drive to the main park entrances is not a big deal. Overall, a comfortable, scenic and relaxing escape if you don't want to bother with the touristy crowds in Bar Harbor.

We had great time in Tremont. Easy access to the western part off Acadia national park or a short drive to Bass Harbor. The house had all the comforts we needed. Don’t forget to check out Thurston’s Lobster Pound, our favorite spot in the area

Absolutely loved our stay here for a couple of days while visiting Acadia. The house was such a nice getaway on the water. My daughter loved hanging out and catching crabs on the beach right in the BEAUTIFULLY LANDSCAPED backyard while we grilled burgers on the back porch.
My favorite moment of our entire trip was sipping coffee on the back porch in the early morning fog while watching a small deer family play in the backyard. Baby deer was very curious of us.
The house was super clean, well stocked, and very easy to get in / out with a door code. Everything was fantastic and the host made it very easy.
We have never traveled to Maine before, but we will most definitely be back and would definitely stay here again.

Great location for us. We spent three days exploring Acadia National Park and surrounding area. Easy access and plenty of nearby restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores. Stacy was quick to respond to a couple of minor things that occurred. Would highly recommend this rental. House was clean, well furnished and very comfortable for four adults.

We came up for a quiet getaway with easy access to the park and this fit the bill perfectly. The house is well designed--new, comfortable, bright and clean. The light and the view are lovely and it was less than 30 minutes to Acadia trailheads and just ten minutes to the town of Southwest Harbor.

Stacey was wonderful to deal with. The space is a little close, although everything we required was there, it was very compact. For two seniors we were not comfortable using the upstairs bedroom because of the steep stairs leading to it. The view was great and the outdoor space very nice. The cell service was so spotty we couldn't really use our phones.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage and are looking forward to returning to Maine. My kids loved the proximity to the water and spent many hours catching crabs in the tide pools. The cottage was clean and well appointed. Thanks again.

We had a lovely week at this wonderful home. It really goes way beyond a typical cottage. The location was perfect. We brought our kayaks and put in to the cove at the edge of the property on several days. It was close to Southwest Harbor, restaurants, and just a short drive to hiking opportunities. We walked and biked the carriage trails in Acadia nearly every day. The manager was fabulous. Everything we needed was there. We ran out of propane one night and after a quick text, she was at the house in minutes with a full tank. Can’t wait to visit again next year.

Just spent a week here with my wife and a couple of friends. It’s not really an ocean front property as advertised, but instead is on a tidal inlet that drains virtually completely at low tide into a mudflat.
That said, it really is a very nice location both scenically and for watching birds. The title action brings many terns,, and watching them dive for fish is very entertaining. We also saw herons on a number of occasions.
The house is OK and looks to be a prefab, functional but without much charm. The kitchen is quite small with minimal counter space and just the basics. The spice cabinet consisted of a salt shaker and the pepper container with about a teaspoon of pepper. So bring your own spices and herbs. Also the icemaker did not work, however we just bought bags of ice and stowed them in the freezer. Also, there was no bar soap in the bathrooms so be sure to bring your own along.
The three head units for the heat pump provided good air conditioning, which was needed as most of the days of our stay were in the high 80s and very humid.. The beds were fine, so I should point out that the queen bedroom downstairs was very small with barely a place to stash a suitcase.
But all in all, we enjoyed our stay here. Tremont in Bass Harbor are really lovely spots on Mount Desert Island, so the location was quite excellent. And the house fundamentally did work for us.

Lovely clean home on an amazing property. Great landscaped outdoor spaces right on the water. Private, quiet and secluded yet close to everything.

Quiet Location
Great location for many hikes in Acadia. Loved that it was away from the crowds of Bar Harbor yet close enough if we wanted to head there for dinner. Much easier to get parking in Bar Harbor after 730pm so great for later dinners. Loved eating breakfast and sipping my coffee on the back deck. Very relaxing.
