Ideal situation
Sadly due to unfortunate circumstances it was locked when we arrived in the early hours

I agree with previous comments that the location is good and the staff are friendly.
However, the hotel and food does not deserve a four star rating and it is overpriced. The pool is small and located right beside the public parking area, the hotel does not have a dedicated beach area and so guests will have to find and pay for sun beds at the public beach. There is a small fitness area and a jacuzzi that are supposed to compensate, however, you would expect that jacuzzis are refilled after each usage (!which we were told is not the case) .
The rooms again are on the basic side and quite small. The roof bar has a fantastic view but in terms of the the food, it be better to have less quantity and more quality.
I am glad we only stayed for a day, because there are better places to stay in the area.

Friendly, hard working staff, good central location, great selection for breakfast.
There wasn't anything we didn't like but the main meals in the evening were too big, I'd suggest the meals be slightly smaller & better quality.

This hotel has a fantastic approach to customer care and the staff are extremely kind and helpful. They go the extra mile and beyond. From the outset the Manager Mr Antonio’s and his team offered help and support as we are disabled customers and required anppppp accessible room. Whilst the hotel does not have this they tried their best to make the room as accessible as possible. The staff in reception and the restaurant were very kind and caring helping with food, laundry and general information. Th chef made special meals for us. This hotel is one of the best we have stayed in.

I was on the ground floor with an easy access to the pool. Room had kitchenette. Food was good apart from breakfast not having fresh coffee and fresh juice.
Lack of fresh coffee at breakfast and lack of fresh juice.

the welcome and room were excellent. the pools and jacuzzi are a real treat. the roof top restaurant is stunning and serves fantastic quality
one member of restaurant staff was not engaged and detracted from what could have been an exceptional dining setting

Lovely food and exceptional staff. The management were always on hand for any questions. A wonderful holiday and highly recommended.
The pool area was a highlight - it was always clean and never felt crowded. And pool towels were also provided, which was a really nice touch.
Everything was first class. No issues.

The area and hotel itself are very well located close to the city center and very close to the beach.
Hotel owner was almost always available and kind to us, answered any questions we had.
Food was very good. We especially liked the breakfast selection buffet!
For dinner, greek salad with tzatziki is a must have.
I also recommend tuna fillet with lemon potatoes which was delicious.
Room service is great too and had no problem to clean our room in afternoon hours if we stayed on hotel room till noon.
Staff was always in a good mood and smiled, although some personal had some issues with a language.
Lady at the reception is super helpful and nice! Thanks for giving us the copy of hand written directions to beaches around on Crete :)
Overall, this was a really nice stay and can recommend for anyone who likes the beach and a goof food
We were a bit disappointed with the bicycle service that was free for hotel guests (white bikes). The two we've used, mountain bikes, were in a poor condition and we had troubles riding comfortably. Please fix them and it will become a big plus for not just us, but anyone who likes to wander around.
Staff at the dinner roof top lounge was giving us strange looks when we just came for food and no drinks. This made us quite uncomfortable...
Also, it happened several times that we've ordered drink without ice, but received both drinks with ice?
On one occasion we got a main dish with rice although we ordered fries. Staff tried to persuade us we ordered rice?!
Last but not least, for the main dinner course, I'd hope to get a free still water. I don't understand why hotel guests have to pay for table water.

Everything was excellent! Location - 2 minutes to the town, 20 metres to the sea. Great food on the GB Rooftop Lounge, great views of the pool & sea from there. Excellent value for money. We were upgraded to the Luxury Suite on arrival, massive jacuzzi bath, 2 balconies overlooking the pool & sea. Everywhere spotlessly clean, pool excellent, did a few lengths everyday to try & keep the pounds off (unsuccessful)! Very relaxed Greek atmosphere, lots of breakfast choice. No panic for sunbeds, quality umbrellas if you need shade. Very comfy & massive bed, quality pillows. Used the outside gym 3 times in a week, not like a fully equipped gym I normally use, but passable for a holiday gym. Just great all round really!!!
Quiet round the pool, that’s just a personal choice. I’d have liked a bit of quiet music to give a bit of atmosphere. It’s not a criticism, just my preference

The food for linch/dinner was good and enough at dinner/lunch. It was great that we could choose the hour and if we would like to have dinner or lunch in the offer.
The position is ok, close to the sea.
The view from the restaurant was nice. Also a plus for the little playground.
The accomodation in below 4* in my opinion. But I think maybe this in how it looks 4* in Greece.
The breakfast had the same food in all 7 days. Not at all varied.

Dinners were really excellent on the rooftop restaurant. Proximity to the sandy beach is great as well. Nice quiet areas around the hotel to sunbathe and relax, away from the main pool.

The breakfast was excellent. The food high quality and very tasty. The hotel is first line on the beach, excellent location.
The staff was friendly,Antonio the manager is highly professional and always ready to assist/help in order our stay to be a perfect one.

Ideal location, close to the square & a beach. All staff friendly, very helpful and keen to ensure guests enjoy their stay. Very comfortable & well equipped rooms; mine had a sea view. Bedding and towels of high quality. Good sized swimming pool with plenty of sun beds. Excellent breakfast. High standard of cleanliness in rooms and common areas.
I spent 2 nights in a ground floor studio. It was equally well appointed as the first floor room in which I spent most of my stay, had the advantage of a ‘kitchenette’ and the balcony opened onto the swimming pool area. But being on the ground floor made me feel a little vulnerable.

Friendly service at the reception and at breakfasts, close to beaches and restaurants
Average restaurant service in the evening.
small children who shout and cry (children should be in a separate facility together)

We liked everything, it was a really pleasant stay. The hotel has extra services free like jacuzzi, sauna, use of bicycles, washing machine etc..
the staff are super nice. The bed is really good quality with comfy pillows. They grow their own vegetables and salads that they use for their home cooking style meals. The management is really friendly and going out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. Definitely recommend it! 😊

Our room was on the small side.

Very obliging and friendly staff. We had a late flight, so they provided us with a late supper on arrival. Very clean property, the bed rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels if required. Two sets of towels are provided, shower and pool. The pool was right in front of our room. The hotel serves a good choice of breakfast and there is lunch and dinner available on the rooftop restaurant on the second floor(elevator). This restaurant takes in views of the beach/sea which is in front of the hotel. The beach stretches about 13km, (right) where you’ll find beach bar restaurants after about a 30 min walk. We went to ‘Sun Kiss’ and ‘Tropicana’ for lunch on different days. Both places served gorgeous food, wine, cold beer and cocktails. There is a jacuzzi on the first floor (elevator), sauna and gym with a great view of place and sea. This is available to guests all the time at no extra charge. There are restaurants, bars, holiday shops, chemist and supermarket close by and a taxi rank. We went to Rethimno for a day trip by taxi 30mins away, but there is also the choice of going by bus. The hotel can arrange a pickup and return to Chania Airport in Crete. We traveled with Ryanair.
We didn’t have any complaints about the property. They hotel was accommodating with a hospitable and friendly presence.from staff. We would definitely consider returning in the future.

Where do I start about what is brilliant about this hotel. The roof top restaurant beautifully decorated in white with panoramic views of the sea and the little white church sitting on bay. We had half board so had dinner one evening and lunch next day - delicious and definitely worth dining there. Gorgeous swimming pool and beds, also on top floor is a gym (if one fancied it) plus three outdoor Jacuzzi's with sea views. An absolute delight which we availed of on both days of our stay. The beds were so comfy and rooms had all the convenience including dressing gown, slippers, rain shower, fridge, cooker and were so tastefully decorated. Ours were pool and sea facing so had the delights of both. The cleanliness of the hotel itself, the pool area, the bedrooms is exemplary and I would wish other hotels would follow suit. My sister loved is facility of washing machines and iron. Its a family owned hotel and one could recognise the pride they have in ensuring everything is of a high standard. For my 3 sisters and I what made this hotel special aside from the location, decoration and facilities and delicious food, is the staff and its owner Antonio. They couldn't have been more pleasant, helpful , interested and professional. We weren't flying until late and they allowed us to hold onto our rooms . They checked in with us during our stay to see were we ok, anything they could do. Georgioupolis itself is a gorgeous little town and has a lovely square - a 3 minute walk away. The hotel provides taxi for airport transfers which we booked and Antonio personally drove us to airport . As we were going to arrive so early to the Airport , he brought us to a local cafe called ''Kou Kou Vaya' which is set into the hills overlooking Chania with panoramic views of the city. What a treat for the end of our holiday and also, one very much appreciated when we realised how small Chania Airport is.

The hotel is right by the beach and also 2 minutes from the Centre of the village - so the location is perfect.
The hotel staff are also extremely friendly and helpful. The food at the Roof top restaurant is excellent and the views are beautiful.
