Nothing I didn't like the fact that I paid booking.com £115 for nothing. For one nights accommodation that was not used as a result of a site that contained misleading and out of date information. I did not like the customer service which was less than useless. I do not like the fact that the company is not answerable and appears to be un monitord by anyone. I could go on but I know that this review will fall on deaf ears and certainly wo t be printed anywhere.....

Clean room, decent size and location
Customer service, or rather customer lack of service

Location convenient for graduation
Bathroom sink didn’t drain . Check in time was slow and not overly friendly

Well appointed rooms with a kitchenette. Centrally air conditioned. Card controlled access for the lifts . On site restaurants for eating options
It’s a bit far from the station , bus terminals . While city center can be accessed via the free bus it does take time . Factor in 25 to 30 gbp per day for cabs if u want to save commute times

Really nice property, well equipped, smelt amazing, in a really nice urban location, super comfy bed and living room, staff were amazing and a safe and secure underground car park, short walk form supermarket and restaurants.

Little far out from the city, however worked well as just jumped in an uber

Did not eat breakfast. The property was very clean and welcoming. Manchini checked us in and was very helpful and friendly.
Nothing we can think of.

Amazing location with great transport links and amenities. Loved the open spaces filled with greenery! The flow of the apartments, the aesthetics - real thought had been put into it all. We had done the online check in before arrival which made actual check in pretty seamless! Just had to double check and pay. The £40 woof package is extra cute too! The bandana is beautiful! I loved the doggy Polaroids in the lift (was hoping our pooch could get one but wasn’t offered boo) and the workshops/classes! Unfortunately we came after they’d all commenced but a great idea. Theres also a yoga mat in your room! Loved the giraffe trail too! You absolutely must try the pork crackling at The Astronomer 11/10!! Everything is so clean. The area really is like a piece of art. We felt like we was living in 2030! Looks like the futuristic drawings but actually in real life!
The parking was really tight with the concrete posts, not many normal car parking spaces for Locke (the other side was for electric and didn’t want to block those). Someone had parked over the line too on one of the spaces. It would’ve been nice if a space was reserved with a sign. I noticed this happened for the one disabled spot. The chairs cushions on the terrace could be stored inside instead of left out as they were soaked and discoloured. This isn’t a dislike this is just an idea for the kitchen cupboards to have shelves inside as there was empty space that could’ve been filled with the things we had brought with us.

It was a good stay with cooking facilities, and provided an environment as a home away from home.
The atmosphere creating a sense of "one's own space".

The quieter, convenient location with buses, coffee shops and Sainsbury's all close by. The ease of a full studio with cooking and washing facilities, most welcome after a few weeks of travel.
Rooms could do with a basic clean/service after 4 days. 8 days was a little too long.

Location is good, close to the city - but not too close and easy to get to from the motorway
The cooking faciities were challenging, as the pan supplied was too big for the hob

we were travelling and so out out but we parked free over night an were able to hit the traffic before it was too bad. The gym had great gear but no cycle or spinner.
It rained a lot - really a lot

They normally leave a doggie bag and treat for my dog but didn’t on this occasion

This is a terrific hotel; fantastic value with really beautiful rooms. We were in a studio with a great bathroom, with luxe toiletries, very comfy bed and separate kitchen and sitting area. It worked perfectly for us as we were dropping off a fresher and needed somewhere near the northern colleges with guaranteed parking, not easy to find in Cambridge. They have done everything really well, the gardens you overlook are just fabulous, the bar is great, the design of the lobby and rooms outstanding. Located in Eddington which is 50min walk from the centre of Cambridge we had brought bikes and planned to cycle about. It was wet in the evening though so we jumped on the bus that stops literally outside (you can watch it arrive from the warmth of the bar) and dropped us off opposite Hotel du VIn where we were having dinner - perfect. We picked up milk at the adjoining Sainsbury’s on the way back for tea and In the morning we bought the most delicious breakfast pastries from Dulcedo just round the corner. Check in is at 4pm which is a bit late but for only £10 you can upgrade to 2pm and check out is a very civilised 11am. We will most definitely be back (likely next time in the big suites for 4 with our boys) and keeping an eye out for other Locke properties on other trips.

The quality of rooms and gardens are second to none.
This was disappointing having stayed here some weeks ago and raved about it. While the rooms were again glorious the process to get to them was anything but. The hotel claimed not to have received our confirmed request to check in at 2 rather than 4 and due to some issue with laundry couldn’t not honour this (no apology or attempt to resolve it in any way, simply turned us away). When we returned having had to change our plans fundamentally the queue to check in was out of the door. The self checkin booths failed to work. It took over half an hour simply to get our swipe card. Also don’t understand why the 2 bedroom suites don’t have twins in the second bedroom, surely the main target group is families where siblings are unlikely to be keen on sharing a double, and while the kitchen is great supplying 2 tea bags feels really mean.

Great value
charging point in the carpark needed different app than was advised so could not download as no phone signal for the confirmation code. Not a major problem though

Really quiet and close to the Storeys Field centre where I was going to a concert. Loved the gardens in the Atrium and the views from the huge windows. Absolutely lovely staff.

The suite was well laid out and spacious especially liked the terrace that we had. We didn’t use the cooking facilities on this visit really, liked that is was there and if stayed longer would have used it.
Only thing for as we were only staying one night was that there was a kitchen sink and a dishwasher and they could have had a small amount of washing up liquid and a tablet for the dishwasher as we only used cups and glasses was nothing to wash them up with.

Cool, efficient and a good place to stay.

Reception staff were very helpful, facilities meet expectation, bed comfortable.
Kitchen very useful when staying for a few days.
Nothing was too much hassle when requested.
shower - if using the main shower head, water found its way out to the main bathroom floor meaning everything wet when you came out. But easily cleaned up using their towels!

Nice position although not in the city centre
Outrageous pet fee
Small double bed

The attention to our dogs (drinking bowl, welcome gifts for the dogs). The staff at the receptions when we checked in was really efficient and helpful. The Dutch bar next door was really wonderful, their cocktails were sublime!
The room is too dark for my liking. It is not as big as I imagine it would be. Weird layout. The sofa to watch TV was really uncomfortable.

Hotel feel with advantages of an apartment. Staff lovely.
Great location for seeing our daughter at college, slightly outside of town.
Struggled to pre book parking. And couldn't find the cutlery! It's in a hidden drawer under the pots and pans if you're interested.

Parking was great,
Good location, the little bar on site was wonderful
The dishwasher was broken so we were washing up in the sink- it was a small space with no areas to dry crockery.
Otherwise not able to fault the facilities

For me, the location was the main point, since it was very close to my friends. Also very practical: the bus goes straight from the hotel to the city centre and the railway station. No taxi needed. The layout of the apartment is very well thought through: it is basically in three parts with the kitchen area by the window, then the bed separated by a wall, then the bathroom. Kitchen smells evaporated quickly and did not easily penetrate the sleeping area. The downside: it was a bit more difficult to have fresh air while sleeping. It was generally quiet, except for a next door siren going off on the first evening, which fortunately was silenced before sleeping time. Since I had to cook all the time (too many allergies), the Sainsbury’s just a few steps away was ideal. The staff is very smiling and friendly, giving you all the information you need.
The equipment was very basic. In the kitchen, there was no small cutting knife nor any deep plates. I got both from Sainsbury’s, but it would have been nice to go without that extra cost. The chairs are not at all comfortable. The shower did not close properly, so the water came into the bathroom. The bedding was too warm, even for the winter season. There was a continuous humming from the ventilation that you cannot turn off. All in all, these are minor points, however, that would not prevent me from coming back.

Turing Locke simply is the best place to stay in Cambridge. I have stayed here a few times (and although I had some serious issues with communication from the accommodation head office NOT sending replies to messages) overall this place is the most modern, clean and spacious accommodation in Cambridge. It is actually 15 minutes (by car) out of the city centre but that is actually a good thing in Cambridge, especially if you have a car. If you have not visited Cambridge before and are in a car, be prepared for very heavily congested traffic, it is among the worst in England. Often it can take over 45 minutes to get from one side of Cambridge to the other. Rooms are very spacious and very modern which is very rare in England. The place has a great, contemporary vibe and staff are young and friendly, and the reception area always smells like the most carefully chosen essential oils for saying 'hello and welcome' upon arrival. Parking is ample and underground and quite easy to get to reception via a lift from here. It means that if you have a lot of luggage you do not have to lug it up many stairs cases which is a very common problem in England!
After staying here several times it still seems impossible for the Turing Locke team to reply to messages sent to them via the Booking.com app. They seem to only ever send automated replies and NEVER reply to messages directly. I find this very strange for an accommodation business to not reply to specific requests. And it isn't only once, they haven't replied to ANY questions asked via the Booking.com app. Also, the shower doors are prone to massive water leaks all over the floor. Stayed here 3 times now in different rooms and the shower doors ALL leaked very badly leaving water all over the floor. Strange for such a modern hotel but seems quite common in Britain as the plumbing (even in new builds) can often be VERY dodgy. Also, it almost impossible to find this place upon first visit! There are zero signs stating that it is Turing Locke or in fact a hotel/accommodation site, so do not expect your Google Maps satnav to get you to the front door easily! Finding the front entrance to this place is very difficult which in itself is bizzarre for a hotel! Plus the surrounding buildings all look very similar. They seriously need some signs to make it visible to new visitors/patrons arriving that this is a modern hotel.

The staff are amazing!
The light is not that bright which makes me feel a little bit depressed.
