La peor experiencia

Las vistas

Teníamos demasiadas ganas de conocer el hotel por los buenos comentarios que vimos en la página, pero ha sido una gran desilusión. Al momento de llegar para lo único que nos hablaron fue para que entregáramos el dinero que había que dejar de depósito ( 5000 pesos en cash) algo que jamás había visto . El hotel está en medio de la nada, eso ya lo sabíamos, aún así no te dan ningún tipo de amenities, ni café o te de cortesía o champú en la habitación. Solo hay un dispensador de agua fría en el pasillo, ni hay agua caliente para poder tomar un café de sobre q me había comprado. Días antes de la llegada, les habíamos pedido ayuda para alquilar una moto, que la consiguieron al día siguiente, así que estuvimos varados en el hotel 1 día porque no hay lugar para caminar o darte una vuelta, el hotel es una auténtica sauna, imposible estar dentro del calor que hace. La primera noche, el A/c dejó de funcionar toda la noche por un fallo del generador, eso hizo que la luz del ventilador que teníamos encima de nuestras cabezas se encendiera a las 3,4 y 5 am, por lo que no pudimos dormir! No solo pasó en nuestro cuarto, sino a todos los que estaban en el hotel, a las 6 am nosotros y el resto de huéspedes estábamos muertos de calor en recepción, la encargada amablemente nos indicó que nos iban hacer la devolución del dinero de esa noche. Cuando fuimos a desayunar nos llevamos la sorpresa que el desayuno incluido es un pan con mermelada o un pan con tomate y un café estilo americano que viene en vaso de expreso. Tuvimos que pagar dinero extra para poder tener unos huevos , jugo y dos cafés más para llegar al tamaño de un americano convencional. A la siguiente mañana nos levantaron a las 7 am con portazos y ventanazos y perros ladrando que tienen dentro del hotel.

Amazing!!!!

Spectacular! The view from the rooftop, the rooms, the staff, the food, everything was amazing!! We loved the design of the building, the minimalism and the use of materials (raw concrete and beautiful wooden panels and doors) that perfectly match and blend into the surrounding raw nature. The hotel runs on solar panel energy which I Think adds to the experience of blending into nature without disturbing it too much. This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. And it is just a unique experience. Also, the owner is really sweet - as Well as the staff. You HAVE to book this place if you love nature, stunning views of the ocean, beautiful design and good food.

UNA GRAN DECEPCION

La habitación es bonita y las vistas desde la terraza superior son muy buenas disfrutando del mar. El hotel tiene gran potencial pero está totalmente desaprovechado.

Hay muchas cosas que no se dicen en la página web. Estás perdido en la nada y cuando quieren cierran la cocina, con lo cual te vas a dormir sin cenar. Para acudir al comedor tienes que andar unos 600 metros por una rampa peligrosa y de noche y lloviendo te juegas la vida. Te exigen una fianza de 7.000 Pesos. (en ningún lugar de Filipinas ocurre esto). Gerencia Española, el peor trato recibido en todo el País. Es de los hoteles mas caros de Siargao y no se corresponde para nada ni en la calidad ni el trato. De lo más desesperante es tener que desayunar o cenar en un lugar paradisiaco con un generador de gasoil, tipo camión situado en el mismo comedor. Insoportable¡¡¡¡¡¡ No lo aconsejo para nada, EVITALO. Si recomendaría visitar el norte de la isla ya que es una maravilla, pero lo puedes hacer viniendo en moto desde General Luna y pasar un día maravilloso.

Exceptional

Probably one of the beat places I have stayed in my 30 years traveling around the world. Views from the room are insane. Everything is clean and beautiful. The place is self powered through solar panels so no issues with electricity as in the rest of the island. Restaurant is second to none and the rooftop bar has amazing views. Location is great for a quiet and relaxing stay. Borja and Dafne were great and made everything easier for us

Peaceful and perfect oasis

There isn’t one thing we didn’t like at Izustarri! This place is beyond special. The hosts were incredible, friendly, communicative, kind, and helpful. The location is a perfect quiet oasis and the rooms and shared spaces are like nothing I have ever experienced before. They were incredibly stunning and comfortable and I loved everything about it.

Superb

Amazing place to stay ! Location is what you want when you are looking for something north of the island and far from the noise :)For us it was perfect to stay there when we did the rock pool and sugba lagoon Food was so good ! But we would advice to take one dish for each person + 1 other dish to share for 2 people because it’s pretty small (but that’s normal when you chose quality over quantity :) ) Owners are just amazing, really caring , helping, both of them :) Room are really spacious and clean , view on the nature is just perfect

Breathtaking view and an amazing getaway.

Everything was great :) But especially the view: it is breathtaking. The room was perfectly clean and equipped. Great rooftop with very tasty cocktails. The owners are very very friendly and it was a pleasure meeting them.

Experience was magical, will definitely come back again.

I liked everything about the place. If you're looking for somewhere quiet and to just enjoy the peace, this is the place. One of the best things about our stay was starting the day with the view of the ocean while the sun rises and, ending the day with the sunset view of the ocean form our balcony. At night, the stars illuminate the sky. we stargazed at the rooftop area. Hosts & staff were very accommodating and hospitable. We felt really cared for. I enjoyed the food choices, especially the breakfast. Everything I tried I loved.

Very nice if you want to get away from the crowds, enjoy the peace and quiet, read a book and be surrounder by fireflies at night while you gaze at tge starts from the rooftop!!!
