This property is unique, we feel that we stayed in the castle. Really special experience.

Beautiful old estate maintained in the period
Would be great if the property could develop an enclosed swimming pool & spa on the property grounds if heritage requirements permit

Langley house is a beautiful mansion surrounded by gardens. It is in a great position in Bendigo. Rooms are filled with curios and antiques. It is like stepping back into the past.
The price is quite prohibitive. I got a basic room with a couch that looked like it came out of an op shop, with a shared bathroom and no breakfast for over 250 dollars. You are definitely paying for the old world ambiance.

I would say I enjoyed every single corner of that historical masterpiece. History and vintage vibes lovers - that’s the exactly place you should choose.
Everything was absolutely superb!

A unique property showing how wealthy people would have lived in a grand home in days gone by . We live in a historical home and typically they can be cold in winter. But from the moment you step inside this home is warm ( literally) and inviting. You can utilise the front sitting room anytime of the day or night . And there is a second living room up stairs . Our bedroom was large and well appointed .
Simone gave us restaurant recommendations for both nights and we were really happy with those . Great to get a local opinion.
The ensuite light was permanently connected to the fan and that meant it was cold when you were in there. It would be great if that could be switched seperately.
It’s a 10 minute drive into Bendigo which means you need to use your car each time

A beautiful property- I only wish I’d had more time to explore. I had the Chapel Room and it was a generous size, nice and warm on a very wintry night, and beautifully decorated. Amazing air vent. I paid separately for the delicious breakfast. Unreservedly recommended.

Old work ambience and charm. The gardens are lovely and in summer it would be lovely to sit out in the gardens. It is a truly beautiful property.
It is on a main road and on a Saturday night there was a lot of noise from the traffic and although my room was on a side far away I could still hear it and there is not much to be done about it other than be aware you may hear it a bit. It didn’t impact on my sleeping. It’s not walking distance to anything so you will need to drive, not an issue just something to be aware of

The room was very large, warm, comfortable.
A little too ornate for our tastes. Lots of period features as it's a historic house. A little bit out of Bendigo proper.

Beautiful historic property, lovely atmosphere. Cosy stay. Complimentary port is available in the gorgeous lounge area.
There is no servicing or contact with the host (except for a warm welcome), not even rubbish collection for a longer stay, although the host is easily contactable and readily available for anything required.
