Beautiful day spent here with the perfect location across from the public gardens.

Beautiful and elegant hotel. Very friendly staff and a special shout out Anna at the front desk who made our anniversary extra special. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and helpful including the man who works outside the elevators.

Location was amazing and view from our room was spectacular.

The shade was broken shut and the motor wouldn’t raise it. So we didn’t have a view at all. The air conditioning was sooooo loud it was hard to sleep.

Amazing staff Amazing location

All of the Newbury staff are extremely well trained. The service across the board from start to finish was excellent! Enrique, the waiter, in the Newbury Restaurant was absolutely fantastic!

A great base from which to explore Boston

Perfectly located in Back Bay. The room had a fantastic view over the park with the city in the background, definitely worth picking a park view. The room was very spacious.

Nothing really. This is not the fault of the hotel: the (perfect) location of the hotel is in Back Bay, and Boston has heavy traffic in rush hour, so if you are traveling for business with most of your early meetings in the business district in South Boston / Waterfront, take this into account in your travel time.

Loved my stay there, I was always greeted by someone on the staff and they were very pleasant and not pushy or abrasive. I did stay during a weekend where there were street closures, I just wished someone would've mentioned it so I could plan transportation accordingly. Great job team!

The property is in an excellent location across from the park & walking distance of Charles River with friendly staff. It was very clean & comfortable. Lovely towels and great views on the 17th floor. Must try for breakfast.

I was very surprised with my check-in. I know it’s a busy place, but we were not offered even a cold glass of water. She did not tell us about amenities, such as the gym or the magnificent restaurant on the 17th floor, where they serve breakfast. They don’t offer water in the rooms, but you can get them downstairs. No attention to details for a 5-star hotel!

an idyllic and special place, with wonderful staff.

The garden view (of the public garden) was stunning. We hadn’t planned to have breakfast in the room but the view was so enjoyable we had breakfast in the room on two days!

There was nothing I didn’t love. I guess if I had to think of one thing, it would be nice to have a traditional welcome book or letter. everything being digital is sad.

A beautiful, blissful, boutique stay in Boston!

Beautiful location alongside the Boston Public Garden and access to shopping precincts. Hotel staff were very helpful and knowledgable. My room was quiet and well appointed, with a great bathroom. The gym facilities were lovely too and the view from the top floor bar was amazing.

Water provided in the room would be good.
