- good location: walking distance to the beach, ~12 minutes to the "main street" with restaurants, pubs, etc.
- plenty of space to park a car
- big kitchen with all required appliances
- nice balcony
- extra bonus: ruzzian-free environment (I guess we were just lucky, but anyway it was so cool, if you were in Turkey you understand)
- very soft mattress, I couldn't sleep well
- extremely small shower with a curtain that sticks to your body
- problems with wifi, in your case it was working only in the living room (super slow), but not in the bedroom

If you are planning to visit Alikanas this apartment is a great place to have as your home base. A beautiful beach is a two minute walk from the apartment and the best two restaurants in the area are a short walk. Small grocery stores are within walking distance but all the large stores for buying food for a family are on the outskirts on town. The rooms are fantastic, we had a view of the town and the water from our balcony. The room was cleaned every day. The host was always available, answering questions on WhatsApp usually within 10 minutes. Plenty of parking for cars. I could go on and on about all the positives of this property.
This is not a comment about the apartment but rather any location on the island. I strongly suggest renting a car either when you get off the plane or the ferry. Taxis to most hotels run in the $50 range. The island is beautiful. A car will enable you to see all that the island has to offer, olive presses, cheese factories, and breathtaking landscapes. Also, lots of things for the kids to do.

This place was perfect for 4 people, spotless, nice, confortable, and a few minutes walk from a very nice beach for families. But most of all, Miri and his family were the most amazing hosts we’ve had in our 3 week trip in Greece. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Location close to the restaurant street (1km away it is very nice street with everything you want) but far enough to have silence and good sleep.
Very close to it is a beach with sand, we have walked to it and the water was very warm and no deep, good for small kids.
Very good sistem to clover the windows and protect from the sun. The air conditioning was well placed, and didn't worked on our head directly.

The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We felt taken care of during the whole stay. They went above and beyond to keep the room clean - we had our bed made and had fresh towels all the time. The room had everything you could need on a vacation. The beach was 3 minutes walk away from the place.

Unfortunately only ground floor studio was available to book and no view from there and a bit dark but the studio itself was spacious and with excellent facilities.

Best place to relax after long day of hiking. To Xigia Beach 10 min ride.
Location is close to some bar where people sing karaoke, but after 10 was quiet. No ventilation in bathroom.
Having balcony would be amazing. But can't complain. For this price - best hospitality we managed to find on the whole island.

The apartment is located in a very quiet environment, the cleanliness is outstanding. The accommodation is a few minutes ’walk from the beautiful, beautiful sandy beach. The landlord, Miri and his family are very kind and extremely helpful. We appreciated your maximum flexibility on the day of arrival / departure. Kindly advised accomodation.

The best apartment I have ever stayed in. Exceptional, spotlessly clean and the apartment has everything you need and more. The sea view from the balcony is beautiful! The beds are really comfy and the apartment is a class above others I have stayed in. A 5 minute walk to the beach and the resort, it is ideally located.
The main feature of the beautiful villa though is Miri, Bruna and their lovely children!! Nothing is too much trouble and they have really made our holiday special . The best place to stay in alykanas 😁😁
