Apartmento ideal para viaje en familia por Bilbao

No le faltaba detalle, cocina totalmente equipada, además la anfitriona nos dejó café, cacao, azúcar, cereales para desayunar… También nos dejó una lista de restaurantes que nos recomendaba. La ubicación está muy bien, cerca de estación de metro, al lado del casco viejo.

Leuk verblijf heel dicht bij de oude stad

Super vriendelijke host die ons trouwens ook veel goede tips voor Bilbao gaf. Het appartement had alle voorzieningen die je nodig had.

Airco had wel een surplus geweest i.p.v. ventilatoren.

Fantástico¡¡¡¡

Alojamiento a 5 minutos de la Plaza de Unamuno, pleno casco viejo de Bilbao. Cerca de todo lo importante de ver y de los transportes. Estupendo la posibilidad de parking, imprescindible en Bilbao. Servicios de compra y restauración cerca, también metro, teniendo en cuenta las cuestas y subidas de la ciudad. Tarjeta de transportes disponible para recargar y recomendable su uso. Cristina, la anfitriona, super amable y atenta a cualquier situación planteada. El alojamiento estupendo. Buena zona para comer y tapear sin bajar al centro.

Superb

The location was great. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment is very comfortable and the host provided nice touches like cold water and fresh milk. We appreciated the wifi and large tv with netflix for when we were back in the apartment at night.

Perfect stay!

Spotless, convenient location, excellent for us (couple with 8 month old and grandparent). Cristina was such a great host and helped us with taxis and was always available for questions. Just note that the apartment is on the right side of the lobby, the left side is someone else's home.

mixed feelings about this property

The property is within 10 mins walk of the old city, where you can then catch a tram to other parts of Bilbao. It is also near the Metro (again a 5 - 10 min walk). The property is light and airy, decorated in shades of white, grey and amber Free parking is included in the rental

It's not in a good location; there were no restaurants locally that we felt like using. Surrounding roads are narrow and difficult to drive; a complex network of one-way streets means that if you need to go "round the block" (eg to drop stuff off at the flat and then take the car to the garage) this can take 10-15 minutes! The flat has clearly been designed for rental and not for living in. It looks nice, but the bathrooms are tiny (the ensuite doesn't have enough room to turn around unless you leave the sliding door open!) and have nowhere to put anything (toiletries /clothes /damp towels), there is a minimal amount of storage space in the bedrooms (hangers but no drawers), the kitchen is under provided - hardly any cutlery (just 4 steak knives when the flat sleeps 6!), no cooking knives, no mugs (seriously no mugs!). There is a small balcony, but it just looks out over a bit of concrete urban jungle; the bedroom window is the same (we just kept the shutters closed the whole time). The tv has only Spanish channels - no English (or American) channels at all.

A wonderful stay

A very warm welcome. Cristina even bought breakfast for us because we arrived late in the evening. All the utilities you can think of are there. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Perfect location in the old city. Only 5 minutes from a metro station. And very quiet at night.

Great location, modern look, lots of space, friendly host, great communication, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, terrace, ...

Parking was practically impossible (we have a normal sized car), we chose for public parking since it was a real hassle to drive in/out of the parking space...

Very nice 3 bed apartment,within walking distance of the main center.

Parking is poor in the area, you are only allowed a limited time for street parking, but there is a good underground car park about 3 km away by car, walking to it is about 900 meters so you can drop the car and walk back.
