A very comfortable stay

very clean, beautiful decoration, and responsive and extremely helpful hosts. interesting sites nearby: nearby Tsambika beach and monastery

Great place, very nice surroundings , stuff helpful. Cool bbq area in front of the apartment, close to the beach, there is a possibility to use a wasching machine

Modern cosy apartment with all necessary equipment to self-catering you. Very quiet place to relax after noisy big city, not far from the beach. Host very helpful and friendly and gave for us lots of amazing recommendation.

Lovely apartment with great hosts set in a quiet area of Kolymbia.

Althea Apartments is set in a beautiful semi rural area which means a quiet location. Short walk to the centre of Kolymbia with a few restaurants a short walk away. The apartment is fresh and clean with a fully functional kitchen in the apartment with fresh pod style coffee on hand, various teas too. A nice touch was the host leaving a chilled bottle of wine and water in the fridge for our arrival. There's also a washing machine for guests to use too which again was a nice touch. Beds are king sized and very comfortable.

We had everything we needed during out stay.

The appartment was very clean and cosy and has a luxury vibe. We really loved the bathroom that was of very high quality with an amazing shower. Also the location was great as it was only a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach (Kolympia beach). And if you have a car, it is the perfect spot to explore the rest of Rhodes. Also Kathy, the host was very helpful and easy to reach. She also gave us a list with things to do and places to visit as well as good restaurants and bars on the island.

Beautiful apartment in a great location.

Beautiful place to stay and the surrounding landscape was just stunning. The host and her family were so friendly and helped us along the whole trip, anytime we had questions about Rhodes or facilities she was available. The apartment was perfect for our trip.

Not really a fault/bad thing but we were looking forward to a hot tub described in the advert but it’s more of a fancy shower unit, thinking about it now, with the heat in Rhodes we definitely would not have used it if there was one anyway!

My stay in Kolympia, Rhodes was exceptional. The hosts made my whole experience and stay super easy. The apartment was a walking distance down to the beach, restaurants, and supermarkets. The atmosphere was friendly, calm and peaceful. A car rental would make your whole experience/stay in Althea Apartment, Rhodes a 10/10. Kathy and her mom were the sweetest hosts that I ever came across. They provided me with all the information I needed for my trip including restaurant recommendations, beaches, and places worthy to visit. Thank you for the support and enormous hospitality. See you again soon.

What can I say. This was a very last minute booking that was made. And I was very impressed!!

I hadnt booked breakfast, however i had a fridge full of drinks and a welcome fruit basket.

Everything was perfect. Just needs a large sign on the main road with apartment name.

A lovely accommodation on a quiet location!

Lovely accommodation. Helpful and kind host. The adjustable airco work great, as well as the wifi. The room was clean and cozy. The accommodation is located on a quiet place with view of mountains and goats. :) Had only sun on the patio in the mornings (end sept.) but it keeps the room cool. A lovely place which is value for the money and a great place to discover the island from! At the end, I was sad I had the leave. ;)

Beautiful apartment with stunning views

The apartment had everything needed to spend a very pleasant stay at Rhodes. Beautiful views to the mountain in a very peaceful location. It was less than 2 min by car to the nearest beach. There are many restaurants close by. The location is 40 min by car to Rhodes old town and 35 min to Lindos, and you can visit different beaches on the way. Kathy, the host, was extremely helpful and sweet. She helped us with the transfers from and to the airport, the quad rental, the boat rental, and she was available for anything that could be needed. I totally recommend this place!

Very clean and well equipped!

Nothing to complain about. We were, however, not aware the first days that you were not supposed to flush toilet paper so a sign informing this in the bathroom would have been good!

An ideal place for people looking for rest, peace and relaxation, away from the crowds after intense days exploring the island or spending on the beach. The apartment is perfectly equipped. the kitchen has everything you could ever need. Large and very comfortable bed with two side tables,big wardrobe,tablet with two chairs.The apartment of course has air conditioning.Beautiful terrace with armchairs and a small table, perfect for evening dinners. Big bathroom with shower. The apartment is beautifully decorated, tastefully but very well thought out for our comfort. The apartment has many advantages, but cleanliness is its greatest asset ! The place is on one side surrounded by mountains and olive groves and on the other side by water, about 20 km from the old city of Rhodes and very close to many beautiful beaches. Its good to have a car but there are some bus stops around.There are 3-5 minutes walk to the nearest beach. The owners of the apartment are wonderful, friendly and very welcoming people who can help in any situation.

Exceptional

I felt at home! The view is amazing, and they left some fruits and water to make my stay even better. They were always available through WhatsApp to give me directions about Kolymbia and beaches around. They have a washing machine, which was essential for me. The room is really good, well decorated and confortable. Despite the hot day and night, the ar conditioning worked well. Windows are sound proof and they really work!

One of the best place I ever stay!

Area was amazing with perfect view and silence around! The cleanest room I ever been! All kitchen equipment, basically all you need to feel comfortable. I will really highly recommended this place!

Exceptional

Staying at Althea Apartments did not dissapoint. All rooms overlook a field with sheep (very quiet) with mountains and olive trees. The apartment is clean, new, modern, with a very high standard of cleanliness. The beach is a few minutes walk. We rented a car to be able to travel around the island freely and go to more affordable grocery shops. There are local shops close by catered more for tourist shopping. Good local grocery store 4 minute drive away. There is free parking and ac in rooms for hotter months. Shower has very good water pressure and everything you need to cook is provided in the kitchenette. The family who manage these apartments are incredibly friendly and approachable and went above and beyond to make our stay special and memorable. We will not forget it and we highly recommend if you want a stay away from the crowds surrounded by farms and nature.

A charming apartment with amazing hosts!

The hosts were absolutely amazing and made us feel like we were visiting friends! They treated us to fruit and wine, and a fantastic local meal, and gave us great tips, which made our trip very enjoyable. The studio is very cute, comfy bed, spacious wardrobe, good towels, regular cleaning. The surroundings were very charming: mountains, fields and sheep gave a very peaceful vibe. Also the common terrace is great to have dinner, or for a yoga session in the morning. The location made it possible to easily travel around the island by car: it's right in between the 2 main cities - Rhodes and Lindos, and there are a lot of nice beaches around as well (reachable by car).

We weren't impressed by the town of Kolymbia and the Kolymbia beach itself, so every morning we chose to drive to a different beach/city, and that was a bit exhausting.

Wonderful stay in well appointed apartments in a beautiful location. Fabulous hosts.

The apartment had everything you could want. It was home from home, very comfy and in a quiet, rural location yet just a few metres to the beach, and swimming in the sea. The hosts were very helpful and attentive and went out of their way to ensure I had a good stay.

Kolymbia is almost entirley All Inclusive hotels. This means that the local supermarkets do not stock fresh fruit, vegetables or bread. If you don't hire a car then self catering becomes more challenging. It also means there is not a lively restaurant and bar scene. Only 3 tavernas in walking distance - all serving the same food.
