Close to some restaurants for an evening meal as accommodation did not do food.
I pre-booked early check in but on arrival I was made to stand outside in the rain because the owner said she was not open yet!
Upon entering the bedroom it was cold I had to complain and ask for the radiators to be turned on. On the bedroom ceiling there was a large damp patch with flaking paint.
They do not do food.
I asked for a taxi to be booked for myself to return to the airport in the morning but no taxi was booked and no one was to be found I had to Google one quickly otherwise miss my flight.

The room was clean and comfortable and had access separate from the main pub - there is no food on offer but the location is full of great places to eat whatever you like - use it as a base to explore the area - easy access to trams into Manchester city centre.
Not a criticism, just an honest observation that the rooms are above a lively local pub which could be a little noisy up to 11pm on a Friday/Saturday - the Crystal lager is very nice tho!!

1.0
poor attention to detail eg poor decor; electric socket covered in brown tape, shower unit sealing unfinished; no double glazing for noise; young man who booked us in seemed half alive; no power sockets close to bed
2.5
Bit overpriced for just a room with no breakfast.

The staff were welcoming on arrival. The room was a good size.
The blinds on the windows were broken so did not close properly reducing privacy. The room was very hot with no way of cooling it down apart from opening a window but as the room faced a busy main room you couldn't keep it open over night.

Nice welcome only.
Nice welcome for our two night stay but only half a roll of toilet paper for a double room. Went out in the morning and returned late at night to find no chamber person had visited and no toilet paper at all. Toiletries had not been replaced either and beds were as we had left them. In short..... Nice welcome but completely ignored after they had taken our money.

The TV Ariel socket in the skirting board was broken; so no TV!

large rooms
staff were not friendly. blinds were broken in one room and toilet was broken in another. only half a roll of toilet roll in each room. Not worth the price paid

Really kind staff, placed at a buzzy location
3.5
Cheap and cheerful. Basic rooms tv, kettle, en-suite, 2 single beds, good location for local services/amenities/transport.

close to where we were visiting family
single glass windows blocked none of the noise from the street or the r&b music downstairs. we wouldn’t have minded but we weren’t told when booking it was music night. we had a 3 year d with us. plus the single bed they laid for us to help with our daughter sunk to the floor when we tried to lay on it so my husband had to sleep on the sofa at his dads.

Location was ideal for my stay. Very high ceilinged room, tastefully decorated.
Very clean room and bathroom. Plenty of instant hot water, nice shower. Plenty of soft white towels. Staff efficient and to the point.
It’s a pub on a Friday night in Manchester so it’s going to be loud until late. Room situated above main bar and karaoke. Spotlight illuminating pub sign direct above room. Blinds in room did not cover windows and had gaps. Room faced main road so traffic noise was bad until early hours . Mattress was very thin and every time I moved the springs made noises. not comfortable at all. Toilet seat was so loose it skidded off if you tried to sit on it and the lid wouldn’t stay up.

Staff were friendly. Location good. Very comfortable place to stay. Will probably stay again in the future.😊
Pity about no food. Price was a bit much for the 2 nights.

Staff pleasant. Quite close to Chorlton. Very warm heating
Bathroom disappointing. Shower cubicle small. No plug sockets by beds. Bit tired looking.

Cheap, the only thing going for this place. Would not advise more that a single nights stay.
Long list of things; Too much noise, was 2am before the pub below closed. Room was very cold! Windows did not fully close, cold and noise from the street kept me awake all night. Nothing to block the light from the out side, blinds where damaged my room was lit up like a Xmas tree all night. My group had 5 rooms in total, every room had major issues, one room had no main light!! My friend had to use his phone light in the dark!

The staff were very helpful
No heat in the bathroom. Bed uncomfortable. No curtain on the main window and the blinds didn't block out the street light. No breakfast. Toilet seat didn't fit the toilet. Only one socket for the TV and kettle and only one other in the room.
