I would make sure you have a good lunch as the options for dinner are very limited after 6pm.

Everything, super nice little place close to the center of burano but in a quiet location. View to the little canal from on side and to laguna and a green garden from the other side. It even has a nice little coffee table out side. It's good for a couple , mind that there are stairs inside to the bedroom. We liked it but it's good to know if it's an issue.
It's fully air-conditioned, very important of you come during the summer. The host was super nice, came to take us from the boat and walked together with us to the flat.
Nice shower and little kitchen if you want to cook.
We highly recommend this place if you decide to spend the night in Burano. (Which is the best decision - come around 1700 after the hit and the hustle of all the tourists goes down, best light for photos and a chance to see the locals, the early morning light and the free of tourist streets is a huge bonus!)
Nothing, all was great

I really like the position of the house close to the Laguna and out of the main street were crowdy and noise tourist walk! I love even more the simplicity of the furniture and the host (both) are just amazing!
I will say nothing, all we get was positive! Maybe wi-fi connection could be better but in the laguna is much better to be disconnected and enjoy the quite time of venetian lagoon!

Burano is a small and safe island. The house was unlocked when we arrived, and it's attached to the owner's art studio - so there was no awkwardness of trying to get in or needing an access code. The price was remarkably low compared to other units for rent and it's close to the Lace Museum and main square. But then Burano is small enough that everything is close to everything else - and so the location is far better in practice than the map suggests. At first glance, it appears slightly off the beaten track of the main streets/waterways, but that's part of its charm - it's quiet and you don't have crowds from the tour boats walking directly past your front door - the small birds are noisier than any people. Burano gets very quiet after the day-trippers leave and that's when it becomes a photographer's dream with an overnight stay providing opportunities for golden-hour photos and early morning views devoid of people. Even neighboring Mazzorbo island is only a 10-15 minute walk over a wooden bridge, and is home to a winery with a unique vineyard, and both a Michelin-starred restaurant and a more casual osteria for lunch. In the off-season, it's probably worth making sure you shop early in the day as the town closes down early - and even in late May when we visited, the restaurants and cafes in the center of Burano begin to close between 4-5pm, with only a couple that stay open later. Before 10am and after 5pm, it's mostly residents walking dogs (and cats!) and the few visitors who stay over or wait for the late vaporetto/water bus back to Murano or Venice. Getting to Burano is easy from Murano, on the vaporetto, and longer from Venice or the airport (probably via Murano) - and so we chose to arrive via the more expensive but always fun motoscarfo/water taxi, directly from the airport, which dropped us off about 50 yards from the house - but we had to point it out on the map and ask for that location.
Perhaps the only notable limitation is the lack of an indoor sitting area, like a couch, although there's a kitchen table and two chairs, another cafe-style table and chairs outside, a lovely single-armchair reading nook in the bedroom, and the bed itself can be used as a couch. Similarly, if the loft sleeping area is used for children (or agile adults), then the interior seating of the house would become a little too limited, especially if it rained. But this is a very small, cute house that's likely to be a base for a night or two for one or two people and so this isn't likely to be a significant problem for most visitors. It took us a while to figure out how to turn on the stovetop/hob, as it has a lock function, and the hot water ran out a little sooner than we expected. But really, for the price we paid, this place was an absolute steal and a delight.

We LOVED this little apartment in Burano! It was simple, stylish, very clean and had canal views--Even better than the pictures! Burano is an easy boat trip to Venice but it is much quieter in the mornings and evenings, which we liked! Plus, the colorful buildings make me so happy! Highly recommend, excellent value for the price!!
The check-in was a little difficult--Daniele, the host, met us at the boat dock to show us to the apartment but we had trouble contacting him as we had limited service/wifi and he uses What's App to communicate (as do most hosts in Italy). That being said, we figured it out and Daniele was a great host, very responsive!!

The host happily picked us up at the ferry and took us to the house, even though we arrived hours earlier than expected. He then guided us to the restaurant where we had a lunch reservation and gave us additional dining recommendations.
Lovely and very clean home. The location is fantastic, close to the main square but in a quieter area of Burano that makes you feel like you are part of the locals. The area is a lot prettier than some of the busy touristy streets with all the instagrammers.
Super easy for water taxi pickup on departure as the house is steps away from the lagoon.
Would be nice to have some local information in a folder in the House - restaurant/cafes recommendations, supermarket, sites/walks.

One of the colorful houses on the beautiful island. Very nice and clean interior! House is situated near from the square.
The owner is very nice. He communicated with us on WhatsApp, he sent us information about boat schedule and some others information. Daniele was waiting for us in the harbor and went with us to the accommodation.
