A. Very pleasant stay in a friendly atmosphere.

The property is set on a hillside adjacent to a lake with some rooms having a view across the water. We were given a friendly welcome and quickly shown to our rooms which contained a helpful booklet describing local places worthy of a visit. A huge bonus comes in the shape of a good sized pool (photographs on the web site don’t do it justice) where the is also a lively bar offering two for one cocktails at happy hour. Meals are served in the dinning area adjacent to the reception. Breakfast is a plentiful buffet supplemented by eggs to order. The evening menu offered plenty of choice and the food was excellent. Just to be clear, the WiFi was free across the resort and served us well.

The bathroom could have been a little bigger, but on the upside there was plenty of hot water. Our main problem was finding the location. Perhaps describing it as “adjacent to the lake” or “50 metres from the lake before arriving in the village from the direction of Margao , rather than the current “near the lake”, would assist first time visitors in finding the resort. One final suggestion. Don’t wait until there is more than one guest by the pool before turning on the waterfall; it is a real asset which I am sure everyone will enjoy in equal measure.

I like the room ambience, feel of nature, privacy, photogenic areas, warm welcome and good behavior of staff. it is also located at peaceful location with scenic location.

Food items need to be increased with variety of deserts, mocktails and coffee. breakfast menu is very limited and need to be increased with some more items.

Magical - the best place I have ever stayed

We stayed in the tree house and it was amazing. Such a unique place to stay! Very clean and comfortable, with an actual tree growing through the centre of the room. We saw monkeys and many types of birds from our balcony, which had incredible views. The pool area was so clean and peaceful to relax here during the day. At night you were able to take meals by the pool bar also which was a really pretty place to spend the evenings. Service from all staff was incredible throughout our stay, especially the pool bar service. This hotel is very near a small town with a lake (full of king fishers and other amazing birds), a Hindu temple, a large church, a playground and little local shops and stalls. Also near beautiful rice paddy fields with more amazing birds and views. So although there isn't lots to do as such there are lots of beautiful places you can walk to and still meet local people and experience an authentic rural Goan town. Our whole stay was incredible and I wish I could be back there now.

Place for fans of Peace and Greens

The resort is good, I like the dense greenery, water bodies surrounded, at night the way the resort is well lit (decorated) is really good. Rooms are good, and clean.

The reception folks told me that if I buy the water bottle then only they will deliver water in the room otherwise to get the filtered water room service is not available. It is in self service mode. Not good. Breakfast can be improved, options were less. Monday your mess was closed, that affected our travel. We usually prefer eating clean at the place we are staying. If I would have known this I might have preferred other places.

Enttäuschend für den bezahlten Preis

Die Übernachtung im Baumhaus war an sich eine tolle Erfahrung. Morgens zog die Affenfamilie an unserem Baumhaus vorbei. Eine tolle Atmosphäre, mitten im Urwald. Die Rezeption hat uns bei der Organisation von Taxifahrern geholfen.

Leider war das Zimmer, insbesondere das Bad, sehr sehr schmutzig. Erst auf Nachfrage wurde es kurz erneut gereinigt. Am Samstag Abend war Pool Party und es war sehr laut. Da waren wir sehr enttäuscht drüber. Wir haben wirklich sehr viel Geld für die ruhige und natürliche Atmosphäre bezahlt. Auch eine weiten Weg zum Strand auf uns genommen. Da hätte ich auf diese Art Entertainment gut und gerne verzichten können. Das passt nicht ins Konzept. Der Weg zum nächsten Strand beträgt etwa eine halbe Stunde Fahrzeit mit dem Auto. Das Frühstück war sehr dürftig.

I was absolutely blown away with Nirvana Hill Resort...an oasis from the city and utterly stunning.

I was absolutely blown away with Nirvana Hill Resort! This place is an oasis from the city and hard to believe you can find somewhere so beautiful and affordable so close to Margao. We had a little cosy hut within the beautiful trees with a view of the pool, I couldn't have asked for more. We also were lucky enough to have the whole pool to ourselves for a while, which is also sensational, such a beautiful pool! Breakfast was so lovely also :) Can't wait to come back!

Fairytale stay in Tree House

We stayed in the Tree house. Everything about the tree house is magical. Starting from the moment you walk up the stairs, you will love it. The living tree inside the room is just a cherry on top.

The property itself is a bit gloomy. There is not much do around or inside the property. The staff were not trained properly and constantly stared, which was not pleasant. The property and the tree house itself is not child friendly in terms of a safe design. The washroom door inside the tree house was difficult to use.

Very peaceful and beautiful - perfect for people who want to relax and be away from busy cities Staff are extremely helpful and approachable Emerald Cottage was perfect and the plunge pool was great We met Duke - a black Labrador - who is the manager’s dog. He is so adorable and very well-behaved

Very good

I had an absolutely delightful experience staying at this serene location! The ambiance was quaint, and the lush green surroundings made it feel like a true oasis tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms and amenities provided were spot-on and definitely worth the price we paid. I had some feedback regarding the breakfast menu. Although the spread was quite decent, I felt that the limited options could have been more finely curated to offer a wider variety of dishes. However, the food that was offered was prepared to perfection, and the service provided by the staff was great.

The location is serene. It's close to Madgaon, Yet very peaceful. This is curtorim village. This property is exceptionally well designed and inside the woods. I stayed there with my wife and we both loved the place host and their beautiful pet Zuke.

Staff were not friendly or helpful No restaurant to get food and staff unhelpful with suggesting options The prices are indicative of a 5 star resort but this is more like a 2/3 star resort. For the price we paid we would expect things like room cleaned daily, food options available (as there are no nearby restaurants), helpful staff, taxi options etc

Amazing place with lush green park

The resort surroundings are incredible! It's an oasis of well maintained greenery, with beautiful plants, trees and walking paths. The rooms are cosy and very comfortable and have all the amenities you need. The owner and staff members are super friendly and accomodating. I can definitely recommend this place!

If I have too find something I'd say the breakfast options are somewhat limited.

It is like a paradise. Small wooden house in a wonderful jungle garden. Every detail makes you feel good, art touch everywhere from room decoration till garden details. Swimming pool is amazing. Breakfast was very good: fresh fruits, bread, some indian soup, butter, jam, tea. Eggs and coffee on request (included). Everything is clean, no single insect inside the house although it is situated in the forest. The terrace has a beautiful view. Garden is particularly interesting, with a huge variety of plants. Fresh flowers in the room!

Everything about the resort was excellent. The tree house is wonderful with the thick trunk of the tree running through the middle of the house giving a fairy tale feel. The breakfast was homely and delicious.

Value for money but not recommended

Value for money and landspacing was very picturesque. They allowed us to stay on the property after check out time since our flight was late. They also provided us with Umbrellas since it was monsoon.

Property location is very remote with little or no access to transport and good restaurants. Your only option is to get your own vehicle or rent it there. Renting options are also limited and will charge you extra money for pick up and drop. Rooms had a soggy smell and they were congested. Hospitality of most of the staff was terrible and unprofessional. Most of the things you have to do it yourself (e.g, filling drinking water, arrangement of vehicle etc). Breakfast spread was extremely limited and repetitive. There was no restaurant on the property. Housekeeping was also poor. There was poor or no WiFi in the rooms.

Good

The location is fantastic. The grounds of the resort are beautiful, surrounded by nature. Staff was very nice and welcoming and made sure we didn't lack anything. Perfect place for a getaway.

A functioning restaurant for evening meals would have been nice as the only other option in the evening was to either order in or eat out. Location pinning for taxis and deliveries should also be worked on.
