Nothing we left after 5minutes of checking in!
The room was smelly and old. We left 5 mins after check in. I was told management would contact me for a refund. But have not heard anything.

The apartment was spacious and perfectly located for the beach at Camps Bay - one of my favourite places in the world to visit and stay. The apartment was clean and adjacent to everything you need - with the beach and shops/restaurants a short walk away.
Safety is a major issue in South Africa and the front door security poses no threat to anyone wishing to waltz into the apartment. I wouldn't, under any circumstance, let my family stay there - I'm sure they would refuse to in any case.
I only had a short stay and had plenty of work to do, so I played security roulette.
It's also worth noting that no security lights are provided when the inevitable "load-shedding" occurs at night - this means walking in the dark from the lighted strip of Camps Bay to the security gate of the complex. Once again this is certainly not recommended!

The location was great.
The room that we were given on the first night was not what we had booked but we were moved the following day.

I liked everything
Property was okay but the aircons weren’t working

Good apartment, plenty of space and comfortable. Kitchen more than adequate, although could have done with a sharp knife.
The complex is actually called camps bay village, not tidal pool apartments. We spent a good 30 minutes driving around, unable to find it!

Location very nice and close to the restaurants and shops which made it easier to get things we needed from the stores
The stairs instead of lift it would’ve been nice to have lift to get in our rooms which were on third floor otherwise we had fun

The location was excellent, we could walk to bars and restaurants and the beach was just across the road. The sunsets were amazing. The staff were so helpful nothing was too much trouble. I also liked the secure parking.
The property was quite run down and needed investment. There was a program of renovations going on but unfortunately our apartment had not been renovated.

Charging points for plugs of other standards would have been good!

The property is comfortable and just as advertised.
The sunset from the property was AMAZING.
Nothing really. I would just suggest relooking at the refreshment services rate.

The prepaid meter ran out of units … we only slept there worked all of Saturday! Got back at 10:30pm by Sunday morning we were in the dark ! No units on the meter, we had to get ready for a full day of work with cell phone torches … this was unacceptable!

location
It was very cold & room should have heater in the room.
there was load shedding, which were not informed to us & there should be provision of inventor when no electricity

I paid for an upgrade to the lovely apartment in the photo - not the apartment we were given though!
bed very hard
toilet lid n seat squeaked horribly
floors creaked
couches very uncomfortable as they are day beds - not for watching tv
power went off and no back up generator
Dining room lighting very bad - looked like the shade needed cleaning
Coffee machine old and it took extra pottles to get coffee thru (yes they were correct ones)

This place is well located, close to the beach and tidal pools.
There was no signage , so we wasted about an hour circling around the place, and when we got to the so called reception the signage was of a different name. The rooms were cold. The worst thing was being received by the security guy. That is the worst reception ever

Considering Load shedding is now an everyday occurrence , candles and a working battery light would be helpful- we arrived in the pitch dark and there was nothing to help us.
The apartment was functional but the seating could be improved- a leather sofa is not great and not enough additional comfortable seating. Sliding bathroom door needs attention!

THE LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT, RIGHT OPPOSITE THE BEACH AND NEXT TO SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS.
BEING TOLD AT THE LAST MINUTE THAT THE PROPERTY WANTED PHOTO ID OF ALL OCCUPANTS AND THAT WAS THE DAY BEFORE WE WERE DUE TO GO IN, AND AFTER SENDING ALL THE INFORMATION WAITING FOR A KEY CODE THAT NEVER ARRIVED . LUCKILY WE GET TO THE APPARTMENTS JUST BEFORE THE CHAP ON RECEPTION WAS ABOUT TO LEAVE AND WE WERE NOT TOLD THAT THERE WOULD BE ANYONE ON RECEPTION AND WHAT HOURS THEY WOULD BE THERE.

Location was great, great views looking out over the beach. Only issue we kind of had was that there was no heated pool contrary to the information.
1.5 / 5.0
The location and view. After a lot of complaining about paying for something we didnt get, we were moved to another site. They tried to make up for poor service. Clean linen
shocking admin, self check in was a nightmare as our paid reservation was not catered for. The unit was not what we booked, 1 bathroom for 3 rooms after we explicitly enquired. Aircon did not work, unit needed a lot of maintenance.

There wasn't a sign board indicating the name Tidal Pool Apartments, we didn't know where to go.
When we tried calling, no one answered.
Once we found the place and had the keys, we were stunned by the beautiful view and the apartment. It was really value for money and the staff were excellent as well.
3.5 / 5.0
The location is great, and the rooms are comfortable. It's very quick and safe to walk down to the beach or restaurants.
Check in and collection of keys was an absolute mess, and wasted two hours of our time. Also, the parking situation was not great, and clearer communication regarding parking options would have made the stay better.
3.5 / 5.0
I had spent 5 nights on the apartment, no cleaning was ever done, your staff just came with a bag full of towels and put it there, dustbin was changed once( Please improve on that)
the place was very convenient as it was close to everything i liked .
Cleaning routine, it needs to improve
