Lovely hotel in a great location.

Location was fantastic, in the middle of everything and a few minutes walk from the station.

To much expensive for what they offer!

Very high price, you can only decide between english or japanese breakfast the day before and you receive a meal tray, nothing more, if you ask only more bread they answer it’s not possibile!

Erste Wahl für einen Besuch in Kamakura

Sehr sauber und sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Frühstück, insbesondere das japanische, war hervorragend. Die Lage ist perfekt für einen Kamakura- Besuch. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Nice spot

Nice location, comfortable beds and modern feel.

Room was a little small it was hard to fit a pram and luggage. The public bath does not allow anyone with tattoos.

Great hotel for a pleasure trip

The hotel was perfectly located alongside central point in Kamakura, rooms where tidy and the staff pleasant. Pretty good amenites. Great hotel, really not much wrong with it.

Beds were very hard. This comes from a person who sleeps on the floor quite often.

鎌倉情緒あふれるホテル

部屋、廊下、ロビー、いたるところが綺麗にされていて、スタッフの方々が大切にされているのが分かりました。駐車場を借りて、チェックアウト後13時まで利用できて、街を散策できたのでとても楽しい旅行になりました。

部屋のお風呂を利用しましたが、もう少し熱いお湯が出ると良かったです。ぬるくなった風呂を温めるのが、できると、快適だったかなぁ

チェックイン前後に荷物を預かってもらえて助かりました。夜食のおにぎりもありがたかったです。朝食は和食、洋食から選べてよかったです。

Location was very central, house keeping excellent, having 2 laundry machines was a surprise and so convenient

Nice hotel, comfortable stay.

The hotel had nice decor and was well located close to the train station. The rooms were comfortable with enough space for the four of us and our luggage. We liked the complimentary late night snack provided by the hotel. It was nice that the spa/bath room was an included amenity for our stay. The complimentary coffee in the lobby was also nice.

We were a little far from the beach (about a 20 minute walk). Otherwise, there isn't much to complain about.

Superb

The location of this Ryokan is great, about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Although it's on a main street with many shops and restaurants, it's tucked away from the street with an inviting entrance way. Upon arriving the staff were friendly and accommodating. They were able to speak English and helped with shipping my luggage to my next destination during my stay. The hotel felt very modern with nicely lit hallways that provided a calming ambiance. The room was comfortable and modern, I slept very well on the clean beds. The onsen was relatively minimalistic compared to some other ryokans I've visited, but it was comfortable and provided the basics for a relaxing onsen experience.

Minimalist but stylish central stay in Kamakura

Firstly, the location is excellent. A short walk from Kamakura Station, along the most attractive shopping and dining street in town. Also an easy walk to Yuigahama beach. Bus to Kotoku-in and Hase-dera temples stops at the bottom of the road. The exterior of the hotel is beautifully presented and in keeping with the surroundings. The rooms are tastefully decorated and have efficient air conditioning, which was a relief in the high summer heat. The staff are friendly and respectful. They are happy to keep your luggage in storage before/after checkout. Complimentary tea, coffee, drinking chocolate and ice in the lobby. Also, coin-op washing machines which you can monitor from the TV in your room.

Check-in took quite some time - partly due to well-meaning but unnecessary explanations from the staff. They told us breakfast was "man-seki" (full), but every day when we passed, it seemed empty. Wardrobe/clothes hanging provision was minimal-to-non-existent. There would have been room for a second, foldable suitcase stand, but the staff said there was not one available. Living out of a suitcase on the floor is not very luxe. It's a bit better appointed than a "business hotel", but for the price, some greater flexibility and customer service would have been appreciated.

Great Location in Kamakura, several minutes work from Kamakura station and Komachi St (Shopping Street). Clean and new facilities, with a Japanese style public bath. Friendly staff and nice quiet place to stay. Tosei Hotel is a Japan local small chain hotel, this is second time I stay in Tosei hotel cocone. Recommend this if would use budget hotel. Breakfast cost 1650 YEN on today's price. I did not try breakfast due to early leave, the price is good, I believe it would be good.

Quiet spot near bustling Kamakura

Great location within a few minutes walking distance from the Kamakura Station – on the quieter side which we appreciated but still lots of bakeries, restaurants, and shops right outside the hotel. The aesthetic was beautiful & clean. Reception was very professional and polite. We didn't realize that Kamakura closes so early (we were assuming Tokyo hours >.<) and few restaurants seemed open past 8 pm – so appreciated the free late night snack of miso soup and onigiri.

The room was smaller than I expected. We had a stroller that mostly blocked the entrance area and toilet door. Not much space other than the bed to move around – which was challenging with an energetic 2-year old kid. Next time I would upgrade to a larger room.
