Everything so relaxing

Whitstable is a gorgeous little town. This property is in a good location, a short walk from all facilities. It was lovely to have a garden with hot tub.
It wasn't clear whether the garden was exclusively ours as it was across the car park from our apartment. Also cleaners had access, however they didn't use it when we were there so it didn't bother us.

Excellent location, close to railway station and the High Street. Accommodation was excellent

Private, electric parking, facilities very good. Also, owners very responsive and helpful.
Downstairs bathroom and step over beams in the bedroom!

Lovely touches, it’s in the details.

First time ever I've stayed and had EVERYTHING I needed!
Well equipped property, very homely.
Hot tub lovely (would've liked a few degrees warmer though).
Beautiful shower room and products.
Couldn't fault the property!
Only downside is train noise at bedtime, BUT I took earplugs and couldn't hear them then.

Loved the hot tub and coffee machine. Plenty of space outside and a great sun trap.
Nothing of note It was ideal.

We (our two daughters, 7 and 12 years old, my husband and I) stayed at number 4 The Old School House. The property was very clean, comfortable, cosy, well organised with everything we needed for our stay and beautifully decorated. We had use of the garden, with spacious hot tub and barbecue. There’s parking and even an electric vehicle charger next to the accommodation. It’s safe and peaceful. We loved our stay there and would definitely return. In fact we plan to next year! The Old School House is very centrally located, with the shops, restaurants, bars, landmarks and beach only a short walk away. The owners, Julie and Suzanne are very accommodating, helpful and friendly. It’s the perfect accommodation for families, couples and friends!
It’s not that we didn’t like it, it wasn’t and isn’t an issue for us, but the television doesn’t have terrestrial channels, only digital (as far as we could see/tell). It would be good for there to be some coat hooks, or hooks on the walls for hanging clothes/jackets also.

Has a short trip with family to look for properties to move to
The only thing I didn’t like was one of the toilets didn’t flush properly so we just used the other one

Really well set out and loads of really good equipment eg baby small children cutlery and high chair, pet bed and bowls etc…
Very cosy and luxurious. Hot tub was fabulous.
Only slight thing was that the downstairs was incredibly warm and only one window in living area… otherwise perfect!

Really nicely furnished and all the extras like toiletries were really appreciated, thank you.
Nothing! 🤗

Lovely newly renovated property, close to high street and local shops. Good to have dedicated parking, lovely decoration and very clean

when we arrived our key wasn't available. it was two hours before the phone was answered and eventually we were given new instruction which opened the house. in all this took two hours particularly as my grandson was 18 month and my wife has lung cancer. given the rain this was poor. they need to review their contact system..

Lovely relaxing property with great access to the town and sea. Beautiful standard and really comfortable.
4.6
the style of the building and the design by the owner.

A quiet location just a short walk from the high street with parking.
The decor was pleasant and the place was well kitted out.
There is a shared outdoor space with jacuzzi but we didn't make use of it.
The standard emails from the host via booking.com where repeated many times, even after arrival. It wasn't clear that the code to access the house was at the end of the same notice email which was about how to book. I think there is a mix up here which needs to be sorted. Thankfully the cleaner was on site so she gave us the key.

Loads of space, close to the center

The instructions on how to get there were great. Suzanne & Julie were really lovely, welcoming hosts. The property was very spacious, the hot tub was good & we appreciated the free parking. We also appreciated it being dog-friendly. Access to the town & the beach from the property was easy.
When we arrived, we couldn't find much clothes-hanging space & a couple of the coat-hangers in the downstairs bedroom were very sticky! The oven was also very greasy & there was no scrubbing sponge or even a cloth to wipe it with. For the price we paid, we would have expected a sponge or brush to wash our crockery with! Something greasy was also added to the hot-tub half way through our stay, which made us feel sticky & left our swimwear greasy afterwards. Whatever it was had more or less dissipated by the end of our stay (3 days later)

Location good , facilities excellent,
Fridge was swimming in water, coffee maker was hit and miss to work , but only minor properties

Amazing location with wonderful hosts. I stayed here with my husband for our 2nd wedding anniversary. The house is conveniently located a short walk away from all of the local bars, restaurants and shops, with free parking on-site - and the added hot tub was the cherry on top. The hosts were also very kind and gifted us a bottle and some chocolates for the occasion. Thank you so much for hosting us - we will be back again soon!
The house was perfect, location is amazing as mentioned above. Just be advised that if you are staying whilst the other properties are occupied you may get a little noise when sitting in the front room, as one of the other hot tubs backs onto the window. It wasn’t too much of a disturbance for us as we were out mostly, but just something to note.
4.6
The apartments are really well kitted out and quirky - great location, friendly host and staff. So good we stayed an extra night
Having no door directly to the hot tub area from the house. Not being able to lock the gate from the inside when using that area so feel a bit exposed while in the Hot Tub.

We loved the property

Wonderful property- had everything you could ever need and was so beautifully decorated. It felt very homely and was a brilliant location just off the high street. The hosts were friendly and helpful in all comms. We loved our stay - thank you :)
nothing!

All modern and up to date appliances.
Too hot in the bedrooms. One bedroom (and all of the downstairs) has no windows that will open and the air cooling system is stuck on full blast, so it unusable at night time.

We had a great time in this wonderful place.
The house was equipped very good and we loved the interior, all was chosen with love and great tast!
The beds were confortable and simply perfect.
We spreciated the calm and private atmosphere and the hot tub/ jacuzzi was a dream! We will definitely come back! 😊
Nothing not to like in this place!

The location and the hottub
The extra single bed was not so comfortable

Very clean, comfortable and cosy with tasteful and homely decor. All we could need and want as a family. We also loved having a hot tub to use. Great to have parking outside property. Fabulous location, very close to shops, supermarkets, lovely bakery (Grain and Hearth) and restaurants and ten minutes walk from beach front. Perfect place and location. Hosts are also very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Would be good to have direct access to hot tub and outside area. Property number 4 has this. But we were very happy with our accommodation and location.

excellent location, great space and excellent parking. opposite a great pub for a spot of lunch too.
there isn’t anything to not like - you’d have to be mad to find fault with this property

great location, nicely decorated and a good range of supplies in the kitchen for self catering
being asked to strip the beds and take out the rubbish- what is the stated cleaning fee for?
