About this apartment rental

This warm and inviting home is a clean and unfussy space perfect for anyone dreaming of unwinding in peace in the hot Californian sun. The roomy patio has a choice of seating options, and we loved the array of potted plants, bringing a welcoming, relaxed feeling that totally fits the setting. The local park is just down the road and is any sport or activity lover's dream, complete with tennis and basketball courts and a baseball field. Unlike other LA neighbourhoods, this one is very walkable, and you can be at Lincoln Boulevard in twelve minutes on foot or six minutes by bike. While many visitors' first thought is a beachfront location, this home is a much better bet for those looking to travel further afield. You can easily explore the rest of LA without getting snarled up in Venice's infamous traffic, and you're still less than two miles to the beach. Meanwhile, those looking for delicious food and independent boutiques will be pleased to learn that Abbott Kinney Boulevard and Rose Ave are even closer. Home truths: *This home is a standalone cottage part of a larger property, so though you have your own private entrance, you've potentially got a neighbour close by *Since the photoshoot, the exterior has been repainted, a new floor has been laid, and new furnishings have been added *There's no air conditioning but the neighbourhood is quiet so you can leave windows open *Your host has a very well-behaved dog that respects guests' personal space *We think the kitchen is better suited to lighter bites than large meals *There are no laundry facilities so here *This home doesn't have a TV *Self check-in via smartlock *Though the neighbourhood is very walkable, there's free on-street parking should you need it *Smoking is permitted outside
