About this apartment rental
A truly one of a kind home in Rome’s historic Navona neighbourhood, this colourful apartment is full of fun details that we fell in love with. Housed in a 19th-century building just a four-minute walk from Piazza Navona, you’ll feel like you’ve just stepped into a rainbow from the moment you enter. A bright green hallway leads you into a yellow-hued kitchen and dining space, where a table and chairs invite you to enjoy the breakfast provided and sip your morning coffee in style. Head into the bedroom to be struck by lavender-coloured brick walls and funky wall art that gives the space plenty of contemporary flair. This modern vibe is juxtaposed beautifully with the home’s original features, like the beamed ceilings and the pair of cubby windows giving way to views of the medieval Via del Governo Vecchio below. When you’re not relaxing on the sofa and antique chairs, admiring the decorative curiosities (our favourite is the old Singer sewing machine) or doing your best Juliet impression from the windows, go out to explore the many sights within easy reach on foot. Wander over to Piazza Navona for an espresso and people watching, make a wish at the Trevi Fountain (a fifteen-minute walk away), gaze up at the Colosseum (thirty minutes away) and explore the Vatican (a twenty-five-minute stroll from your door).
