This Lisbon pad is a playful, eclectic home that mixes in vintage and antique furniture, spicing it all up with splashes of vivid colours. Every room has a unique look and theme, highlighted by the well-curated art that will make your first tour of the home feel like a minor exhibition. And that's before you even go outside where a technicolour terrace awaits, promising memorable evenings sipping sangria as the sun goes down. The neighbouring streets of Alfama are some of the oldest parts of Lisbon, where you can easily make new friends while walking through history. Wind your way up to the hilltop castle – admiring the selection of vibrant street art en route – and enjoy views over Lisbon's terracotta rooftops. Take the iconic yellow Tram 28 back down and across the city to the bustling Chiado neighbourhood, where you'll have no trouble finding an al fresco spot to enjoy some fine Portguese cuisine. Home truths: *At maximum occupancy, there's only one bathroom to share between six guests *This home is located on the first floor of a building with no elevator *Your host can provide a cot, high chair and toddler bed for no additional fee *While there is no washing machine in this apartment, there is a laundrette nearby *If you're staying during the summer months, it's worth noting that there is no air conditioning in this home
