About this apartment rental
Located in Mitte just streets away from the Kreuzberg border, you’re in a well-connected and charming part of Berlin with plenty of cultural offerings, green spaces and cosy coffee shops. Ideal for a couple or solo traveller looking to explore the city from a central spot, this studio is designed in a vibrant, colourful way with charming artistic details that bring out the best sides of its compact space. We love the calming blue walls here that add a dash of elegance to the proceedings and the farmhouse-inspired kitchen with its Piet Hein Eek crockery. The retro-inspired furnishings give the home an effortlessly cool vibe with a comfortable window-side reading chair that beckons to be relaxed in with a good book and a cup of coffee. Our favourite spot, however, is the private balcony with its views of St Michael’s Church. Whether you’re starting your mornings off here or ending the day with a sundowner in the fresh air, you’ll love having this outdoor space to retreat to. Outside of your home, Engelbecken Park and its lake are a one-minute walk from your door, East Side Gallery is a twenty-minute stroll and Checkpoint Charlie is reachable on foot in thirty minutes. The Brandenburg Gate is also easily accessible by public transport in twenty minutes. You're within easy walking distance of the bus that takes you to City West and the subway (a ten-minute walk) that brings you to Alexanderplatz just three stops away. Factor in the shops, restaurants and bars in your Mitte neighbourhood (including a large supermarket open until midnight) and you’ve got everything you need for a relaxing, fun-filled stay.
Home truths:

*The bedroom has a window that sees into the bathroom, which may not be to everyone's taste
*Please be aware that there's no TV or washing machine here
*You'll get an in-person check-in
*The host asks that guests water the plants if they're here for a longer stay
*The bed is a double pull-out that lays against a wall, so it can only be accessed on one side
*Smoking is only permitted on the balcony
*Free on-street parking is available or alternatively, use Berlin's public transport – Heinrich-Heine-Straße station is a nine-minute walk
