Welcoming, clean, quiet, and convenient lodging.

Very welcoming setting. Bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen all had thoughtful guest amenities. Roku on the bedroom TV had guest Netflix access, which was also very convenient.

Nice!

The location was perfect for the activities we had planned for the north side of the river. We had never stayed in anyone's home before (that we did not know), and we were pleasantly surprised at the thoughtful touches: a robe for each of us hanging on the closet door (like a fancy hotel 🙂), a basket with a few snacks in our room, bottles of water for us in the refrigerator (on our designated shelf where we were able to put our leftovers), to-go cups for coffee or tea, the weighted blanket on the bed, and the portable heater and portable fan in our room. We did not meet Marvel, but Becky greeted us when we arrived and was very pleasant. We pretty much kept to our room, and they were very respectful of our privacy. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we were in the Kansas City area.

Comfortable and relaxing stay after a long drive

Nothing to knock about my stay here. Really nice kitchen, lounging, and bathroom space and an exceptionally comfortable bed to sleep on. We came through on a rough road trip night and felt completely pampered here.

This place is a perfect stop during a road trip for relaxing. The only negative I could think of is that it is far away from downtown so is not the place that would be ideal for sightseeing.

Great place for a quick layover.

The quiet, residential neighborhood felt safe, with plenty of street parking available. Breakfast was a pretty simple self-serve affair (instant oatmeal or grits), but it was sufficient. The personalized welcome sign on the bedroom door was a nice touch. Overall this is a good value for a solo traveler.

It was a very delightful stay in a beautiful and cozy home

He whole stay was amazing! I loved how the hosts put so much attention to details like the greeting board I saw on my door when checking in, it was very sweet and made me feel welcome. Kitchen and bathroom had everything you need and overall the place felt very cozy and homey.

Great Hosts and Hospitality!

Becky and Marvel are so sweet! They really make their guests feel like they're at home and are quick to offer their great hospitality. I really enjoyed my stay here and I really enjoyed meeting and talking with the hosts. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a comfortable home like stay. The room is very clean and the home is very charming. There's also a great 1D poster on the roof if you're a fan :)

A very nice place, very well managed

a little bit tricky to find but I blame google for that and the fact that it was after dark before I got to the neighborhood (for unrelated navigational reasons, my own fault).

Becky and Marvel are some of the most friendly people Ive met while visiting in KC and she made me feel very welcome and at home! Definitely can't see myself going anywhere else when I come to town!

A hidden gem for an incredible price.

Becky and Marvel’s was just what I needed! It’s beautifully designed and decorated. The bed and pillows are comfortable - there’s even a little tv and a desk in the room! I highly recommend this place whether you’re there for longer stays or you’re just passing through for a night.

I liked the way the room and bathroom is set up and it's a beautiful place I would come back again and stay. We had excellent experience with this and I loved it alot nice getaway Lil weekend vacation.
