It was okay but I personally would not recommend this property.

The location was okay for travel as I don't drive anymore and was close to the train station and it was a nice quiet location without any loud nightlife.

The owner of the property didn't speak any English and gave us no information about anything just gave us the keys and left. The property had some items that were broken or dilapidated and the Wifi was completely unuseable.

Wish I would’ve stayed longer. Sweet little place.

I loved that it was quaint and beautiful. I loved that it was right outside a cafe and right next to a little fruit market (very small). I loved the ambiance. It was lovely. Easy to walk around and experience food and culture on a smaller scale. Very nice.

The wifi barely worked. I would’ve loved to be able to talk more with the guys that ran thé place. They seemed really kind, but they didn’t speak much English.

Location, the place itself is alright, well cleaned and with all the forniture you need.

The heating wasn't good enough. It's a ground floor apartment and the place needs to have a proper heating system that works to make the place more comfortable during winter season.

Super chill flat without Internet

Owner is very nice person. It was super easy to communicate via booking chat and he was replying always on immediately. Accommodation is very nice , big enough space on ground floor and comfortable bed. Shower was super good as well. We did not have any problem related this. Location is amazing: You can find restaurant, cafe, laundry etc. in few minutes walking distance. Just few notes all other travellers needs to know before booking. It was totally our mistake that we did not check in advance. - There is no internet at home. We have been going to cafe all day to work.( It is written on booking ) - Heating is only with AC , there is no other heating system in the flat. - Ask host to organize a shuttle service to you in advance, we were not able to find any public bus from the airport, that's why we paid 20 euros per way for taxi to reach the accommdotion and back. But we will return back to this accommodation to chill during summer season when it is not cold. Thank you very much

Our Experience

The location was brilliant for transport links, 10 minutes car/taxi from Malpensa Airport. Short walk to the train station and cheap trains to Stresa and other Lake Maggiore destinations. Lots of restaurants nearby and the town of Somma Lombardo is beautiful. Bathroom facilities were okay, self catering facilities were adequate. AC kept the room nice and cool until the last night that it started leaking water! We turned it off to be safe but otherwise it was still working. Overall good value for money. We would stay again.

Bathroom shower leaks when used, had to keep changing towels to soak it up each time. Pillows definitely need changing, both smelled of stale cigarette smoke. There was an empty can of something on the side under the television and the table was dirty when we entered. Not a great impression. The last tenants left one of the coffee pots dirty and 2 pans with grease all over. Not the property owners fault but still not nice. A bottle of water in the fridge would have been a nice touch.

Italian Gem Close to MXP

I cannot say enough good about the owner of this property. He provided airport shuttle service for us late at night. Our flight was late and he was so kind, patient, and helpful. He even helped us get to the train station the next day. This apartment is very convenient to MXP and was a perfect place for us for one night, although it would have been great for an extended stay as well. The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable after a long day of travel, and staying here was an overall exceptional experience. Do not hesitate to book this place which is an amazing value for the price. It was our first night ever in Europe from America and such a pleasant way to be introduced to a new culture and the gracious Italian people. We will always fondly remember Giuseppe and the Romeo2 apartment. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Great stay!

I had to stay 16 days whilst I was looking for an apartment and we cannot complaint. The location is great, the bed and shower are awesome and we had everything we needed. Giuseppe is available all the time and he’s great. I totally recommend the stay.

The only thing we missed was a wi-fi connection. I didn’t see, when I booked it, that there was none.
