A good view of the sea, pleasant and comfortable unit to stay and the check in/out is a breeze.

Cleanliness of the room is good, makes it a comfortable stay.

1) booking made through booking.com, "1-BEDROOM type" eventually, I got a studio type only. Though attempts made to justify the options of room offered are solely based on no. of occupants indicated i.e. adult 2. I surely know what I chose and the options were there, so just be careful with the options selected. You might not end up with what you expect. Hope the owner/property mgr can improve something about with booking.com of this kind of misleading info. 2) mainstream TV channels are literally unavailable. If you're kinda old school folks, it'll be hard to wriggle with your remote and to find something you're familiar watching. 3) A/c wasn't cool enough though at lowest setting °C and the water was leaking onto the sofachair, need to do a periodic check to maintain the AC (minor issue but rather an inconvenient one)

Lovely place in a quiet resort area with private beach

The room is spacious, has a kitchenette with a sink and microwave and a lovely view from the balcony. The pool and beach are nice and easy to access. There are watersports services on the beach as well. Location-wise the apartment is in the heart of Tanjung Bungah and close to Georgetwn.

Roomrates are very reasonable and we enjoyed our Ocean View.

Me and my kids enjoyed it

The room was clean and spacious.Bed was big and comfy.View was spectacular.Love the pool and the best is direct access to the beach

If the host can upgrade the room then it will be a nice room to stay.

The host was good and very helpful. Ms Ying she is a great host. Easy self check in.

1) Carpet old and smelly. When we arrived we had to open the sliding door for the bad smell to go out. 2) Bathroom not bright enough, there were only one small light. 3) Aircon not cold. 4) Self check out was ok but refund of the asses card was bad. i had to wait for more than half an hour as the Myanmar guard said i did not give the deposit RM50. I told him i gave to the Nepalease night shift guard but he insists that i did not give without checking properly. The Myanmar guard took my photo without my permisdion. I told him to delete it immediately of i will take action. He gave a stupid reason he wanted to show the Nepalese guard whether i gave him the money. How could the Nepalese remember our face. And more over the Myanmar guard told Ms Ying the Nepslese gave the wrong assess card. I had to call the host and sweet Ms Ying refunded my money first because i was waiting too long. She told me she will check later. RM50 was a small amount but i hate when ppl say i did not give . Nobody is going to cheat with RM50. But the host Ms Ying said sorry for the guard behavour.

Simply effortless and stressless. Just what you want for a break!

Location was excellent. Simple instructions for entry so easy to check in. Restaurant and bars nearby. Easy for travel around in taxi. And the host was so friendly and helpful.

The hotel used to be a very nice place to stay, but after the pandemic, the entire place is run down

The swimming pool was milky in colour The entire looks run down It had a very stained smell inside the room It has creepy sounds along the walkway of the rooms. Most of the rooms are empty and look haunted

The location is fabulous. Easy walking distance to many local eateries. Bus stop very close. The furniture has recently been painted to try to improve appearance of unit. Owner very responsive to messages and came and assisted. Owner supplied decent towels on request.

This studio ( not 1bdrm) apartment is rather “shabby” . Little table has broken legs. Grotty sink area. The bathroom is not inviting at all , poor water pressure to hand basin and toilet. Toilet difficult to flush. Hard uncomfortable lump where mattresses join. Not set up for more than a night or two stay. No cloth to wipe down sink etc. No cloth to wipe dishes…. only 2 bowls and two cup n saucers , 2 teaspoon , fork n spoons supplied . Terrible non absorbent towels originally supplied.

Host is friendly and check in is super easy. A bit out of George town but lots of buses there so not a problem. Easy access to the beach and swimming pool. We visited the night market and tried plenty of yummy local foods as well.

Building a little old but still enjoy our stay.

J Beach Suites Rainbow Paradise Review

We love the room overlooking the ocean. The view is stunning, so does the beach. The food for breakfast had many selections that you can choose from and they were delicious. However, not a lot of shops around the hotel, there are within the hotel but they open quite late.

The room is not equipped with internet connection. It's quite troublesome as we do our work mostly online. Apart from that, we didn't get to free parking as this is hosted separately from the hotel. We had to pay for the parking. So it was really a bummer. We also met with a rude staff on the counter regarding the parking validation. Just rude to us when we genuinely didn't know about it and we believed that we entitled to free parking. Should dispute may occur in the future, the staff should inform us in a good manner instead of trying to be right. The goal of service is to serve guests best way possible. Kind of misleading with the parking lot. So perhaps a clear message and information should be informed to guests of hotel regarding parking as it doesn't not apply to all hotel guests.
