Value for money, the house and host Shiva ji are great! but upper floor bathrooms need improvement!

In early July 2024 we had a family trip with 7 members to Shimla for four days and we stayed whole time in Wintry. Host Shiva and her family was amazing with their love and care. She was very attentive, arranged our itinerary and rented a car with driver for all these days. Driver was very efficient for hill driving and knowledgeable of area. Place was good in size and have nice view of valley with lush green. Place is an independent residence and has two floor and both floors have two bedrooms on each. Three of them have attached bathrooms. Both floors have open living spaces with couches and balcony. A TV in ground floor living room. And there is a kitchen. Sufficient and delicious breakfast provided. On order, one dinner we enjoyed very much!

Toiletries and bathrooms may need more attention. Balconies cannot be enjoyed, as extended monkey family had occupied them, which seems a general issue in this area. It also made windows dirty and disturb view to the valley. Two staffs serving us were humble, but often unreachable and later we realized that it was by choice! Car driver seemed a quieter personality, which was fine, but it caused often communication issues and in early few days, don't know why, he was upset, was showing a bit of rude expression. Although we have not used kitchen for cooking, but proposed arrangement for it seems expensive and provided amenities are very limited.

Fabulous stay

I like the view from the windows of every room. The behaviour of the villa staffs were fabulous. They were so humble.

There wasn't a single thing which I didn't like.

Awesome Home away from Home

Everything and Everyone related with the Property are fabulous human beings. Especially Akhil ji and his staff Pankaj And Toofan. The amenities are upto the mark and cleanliness is commendable. we were travelling with our 2 year old Labrador Retriever, he shed a lot, but the entire property was cleaned twice daily. Pankaj was available on call anytime of the day. Akhil ji’s father cooked amazing homemade meals which gave the property a feel of home away from home. Mind well the property is very near to the mall road, but has a winding road. one. of us wasn’t sure about taking his car back on the main road, but akhil jo without even asking , offered to help drive one of our cars to the top. Also their recommendations on how to utilise time and where to visit is superb. they recommended Tattapani to us, it’s a hidden gem indeed. all aces from us. thank you everyone, including Uncle and Aunty

May be the Monkey menace that was prevalent in the entire area including Jakhu temple, Mall Road and this property area as well.

Beautiful place. Very spacious and so beautifully kept. Lovely rooms. The Host is a Gem of a Person. Super Hospitable and friendly. Helped us around the city.

It is suitable for large group of people. This feels like home. It is located not so far from Mall road. Facilities are good at the property. Owner of the property is a very genuine person and tries to give comfort to all it's customers in whatever way possible. Early check-in and late check-out facilities were provided by the owner. There are 5 spacious bedrooms, one small kitchen and two large living rooms available at the villa. Overall, one will surely spend some nice time here at the villa. Highly recommended.
