Nous avons opté pour un bungalow '' deluxe ''
Plus grand et plus fonctionnel, la salle de bain est beaucoup plus pratique et très grande.
Le bungalow a la même disposition sinon, les surfaces sont juste plus grandes.
Pas de vrai valeur ajoutée. Si vous hésitez, prenez le standard. Pour u'e prix inférieur, la prestation est quasi similaire.
C'est propre. Petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre et bouilloire.
Le wifi est bien.
Le petit déjeuner est très bon
La piscine est dispo, propre ce coup là, en revanche quelques travaux autour actuellement (rien de méchant)
Attention qu'un groupe ne vienne pas faire une Karaoké improvisé à 16h pendant que vous chillez.
Accès gratuit à la grottes aux chauve-souris pour les clients.
Pour rappel, l'hôtel n'est pas dans Kuta, il est entre Kuta et Mawun, c'est top car très calme mais sans moyen de transport vous êtes coincé.
Location de scooter à 75K/joir casque compris.
Le parquet craque de partout et fait bouger l'armoire de la chambre qui s'ouvre car elle ne ferme pas bien.
Certains éléments cassés de la salle de bain.

Es war ein Traum hier 11 Nächte zu verbringen!
Es liegt etwas abgelegen und daher wird man nicht jeden Morgen vom Muezin geweckt. Es wurde jeden Tag sauber gemacht, das Bett frisch bezogen und wir haben neue Handtücher bekommen, teilweise sogar zwei pro Person (Pool und Dusch Handtuch).
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es hat nicht so nach Fledermaus gerochen wie in den Bewertungen angekündigt.
Eine kleine Bemerkung für Leute, die zu zweit reisen und sich ein Moped ausleihen wollen: achtet auf ein leistungsstarkes oder leiht euch für jeden eins aus, denn sie Straßen sind teilweise sehr steil.

This resort is in a peaceful and quiet place, and the personal is very kind. We spent a really great stay here, we also like the menu for dinner.
Rooms are clean, the bathroom is great (good water pressure in the shower and clean) and the garden is beautiful
The bat cave in the resort is incredible to see, and not disturbing at all (no noise and no smell)
Few bugs going around in the garden but less than usually in Indonesia
So we can only recommend it aha !

Well……I booked this budget accommodation mainly due to reviews about the bats. The beds were comfy. The shower was good. It was interesting to see the bats.
The staff mostly didn’t seem interested in providing a service (except for Steven). I was concerned about hygiene in the kitchen, and we only had one very ordinary dinner, and one breakfast there, and ate outside the resort after that. Be warned, the bats mean the whole resort smells very bad - in fact you can smell them from the public road. The resort is someway from Kuta town - you will need to hire a moto. The bathroom needed a very good scrub. We left three days early.

The place with the pool and the bat cave and the restaurant is amazing, surrounded by nature. The host is very professional and nice, always happy to help you. The wood house is confi and nice. The price for what you get is perfect.
By night is super silent but during the day the road might be a bit noisy.

The hotel area is a very beautiful garden with a very cool cave located within the hotel territory. The entry there was free and we were guided by a friendly staff. Everybody speaks fluent English. The bungalow was very lovely, spacious and clean. We had a romantic dinner set up by the pool, which was delicious and the service was great. One night we found gecko poo on the bed which was immediately changed.
The pool was not swimmable at all, but it was not an issue as we spent our days at the beach. The road is close and noisy but again, no issues as we were tired as dogs every day after exploring so slept soundly.

The staff were friendly.
The bathroom was dilapidated and felt very dirty, we showered with our slops. There were about 5 cockroaches at any given point in the bathroom.
We were also visited by two scorpions in the bathroom. This made going to the bathroom during the evening quite uneasy.
The beds are incredibly hard!
The property is located on a steep hill outside of town. While we thought it could be nice to be away from the noise, it made it impossible to walk anywhere and the scooters on the property were too old to rent. It’s also not great driving up such a steep hill after dark. There are also no taxis or any other mode of transport between the property and town.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay. The breakfast was good, the staff is willing to make you and breakfast according to your wishes, the room had everything you need, including air conditioning. There is also a large pool and bat cave on the property from which bats come out and you get the chance to watch them from your room every day, beautiful! Suherlan is the type of person who will arrange anything you want, his energy and great mood every day gave a different dimension to the stay, he really tries to make you as satisfied as possible. Such staff should really be in every accommodation! We had a really wonderful time here!
right next to the main road, which was sometimes noisy. There was construction going on next door, which wasn't their fault, but it woke us up in the morning:(

I was given an upgrade, so I had a big bungalow to myself. The hotel is on the same property as the Bat Cave, which is really interesting to visit, as wel as watch them leave the cave at sunset with hundreds of thousands in 5 minutes. The staff was very friendly and took me either by car or motorcycle to various beaches.
The hotel has a big swimming pool, Although not very close to the bungalow.
There is wifi in the restaurant as wel as the bungalow.
Toiletpaper basket has not been emptied in 3 days, despite my request. Electricity sockets and light switches are placed a bit unpractical: you either switch on the bedlamp or charge your phone.
Payment by card turned out to be impossible. The machine did not work properly.

The locality of the Cersen bungalows is really nice - it is a few km from the overcrowded Kuta. The accommodation has a bat cave where you could observe every day hundreds of thousands of bats! It is really unique experience. The big advantage is the possibility of renting the motorbike directly in accommodation (for a very reasonable price) and exploration of the Kuta area (it is worth staying minimal for 4-5 days to explore all surrounding beaches or national parks).
The bungalows are clean and comfortable with high-quality beds and air-conditioning. The bathroom is large and comfortable (including also hot water).
Erlan (owner) and all his family is just ideal landlord that really takes care of you and tries to make your stay very comfortable. You can feel like part of his family!

The family running it is really nice! We got upgraded due to a strange noise in the room.
I don't know we had a strange feeling at this place, the people are really nice but we couldn't feel at ease at this place. It is nice but we would rate it a little lower due to also the bathroom not feeling super clean. Might also be the bats around the place, super cool to see them fly but the smell coming from them is horrible, especially when you are having breakfast. The place also felt like we were the only ones staying there, people only came for the bats thats why it seems that there are many people but we only saw 1 other room occupied. Again, we just had a weird feeling, the raving reviews seem a bit exaggerated.

I loved staying at Cersen - it's a beautiful resort with the most helpful owner I've met while travelling through Indonesia. We talked a lot like good old friends, he shared many different tips and stories with me and my friend, and helped us in organising everything - transport to nearby beaches, a boat tour in the Hidden Gilis and my surfing lesson. The breakfasts were also big and delicious - they even bake their own bread and it was so good. Even though the resort is located a bit further away from Kuta city center, it's still sooo worth staying here and it'll definitely be my base once I'm in Lombok again!

We only stayed at Cersen for one night. It was a wonderful resort with a very welcoming staff. You can see they work very hard to give you everything you need for a pleasant stay. Our stay included the possibility to visit the bat cave at any time we wanted. Overall the facilities were great and the staff amazing. It was a resort, but with a warm family atmosphere. During our stay we also had dinner at the restaurant, where the tables are nicely prepared and the staff is serving you with extra care for a resort experience. The menu contains some Indonesian dishes but is oriented towards western style of food as well.
Besides the bats there are also a lot of Geckos to be found. We loved these little creatures so we did not mind their company :)
The price came out a little bit more expensive than we expected with the dinner and drinks (i think this is maybe because of taxes not included in the price shown on the menu?). They also offered us airport transport, which was a little to expensive for us compared to the other prices we got from companies in Kuta.

Cersen Resort is an amazing place to stay at. We were made so welcome by staff and after staying there for 5 nights, it felt like we were part of the family. The manager was always chatting with everyone in English and German and gave us fab recommendations of places to visit.
The rooms are spacious and clean with air con and lots of light. Each bungalow has a lovely veranda which oversees the resort. The veranda is amazing to sit in the evening and have a cold drink . There is lots of space between the bungalows so it feels really private.
Staff cleaned the room every day which meant it was spotless!
Every morning we were spoilt with the most delicious breakfast with a choice of omelette, toast, pancakes and fresh fruit or simply everything.
When we needed to head out early for surfing, they prepared a takeaway breakfast. We also tried the evening menu and it was great, too.
The resort is a little bit out of town but this was not a problem at all as the resort organised us a very affordable scooter to rent. This way you can get into Kuta in 10 mins.
The bat cave has already been mentioned in the other reviews - it is a unique opportunity to see the cave ecosystem. A guide will take you round.
If you are looking for somewhere super quiet, surrounded by lush vegetation and bats with a bit of luxury, this is your place to go. We loved it so much here that we extended our stay for 2 more days.

We had a lovely stay at Cersen Ressort.
The staff has been very friendly and helpful. They provided us with great Tipps and insight about Lombok and its surrounding area.
The Ressort has a huge garden, a big pool and a bat cave. As a hotel guest you get free entrance to visit the Bat cave with a guide. The local guide did an amazing job.
A wide range of animals life in the cave and it has been true experience to step into this „different“ world. You need to be ok with all sorts of small animals when you plan to visit the cave.
The bats fly out as soon as it gets dark. From the restaurant you are able to enjoy that spectacle. We have never seen anything like that and watched it for 3 nights in a row.
The rooms were comfortable and got cleaned every day.
We also enjoyed the choice of breakfast each morning.

What an expierence!
When we arrived we felt so welcome. The hotel is managed by local people and the staff is very friendly. They will help you with everything. The food (breakfeast included) is high quality and they also offer romantic dinners with candle light for a reasonable price. The room is very good en it was the best bed we have slept in on our holiday in lombok. The place is quit and peacefull and there is no mosqee ceremonie or loudy music near by the hotel. They also rent scooters at the hotel for a cheap price, so it will take you about 5 minutes to Kuta.
Every night you can see millions of baths flying out the cave, very impressive. You will get a alot of luxury for a low price. If you are looking for a great stay near by the centre, this is a lovely place!

The site of this beautiful hotel is where just as dusk is falling you can see seven species of bats leaving their cave for the evenings mosquito hunting. This spectacle was absolutely breathtaking. The bats leave at once from the mouth of the cave and they stream in their thousand for several minutes from the mouth of the cave into the sky. I felt like I was witness to one of nature's wonders and a once in a lifetime experience. You can watch this from the comfort of your restaurant chair or you can go into the cave with a guide and explore, they provide suitable footwear and safety helmets, staff at the hotel were really attentive and friendly and helped us arrange anything we needed. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. We had great food including local fresh fish as well as very good vegetarian options. It was one of the only places I stayed where I could enjoy a hot bubble bath. All was clean and they also have a lovely large swimming pool. A great stay! Highly recommended.

A little bit far from the center but the owner drives you go and back and also the possibility of rent a bike.
