Beautiful location, cosy decor & log burner to enjoy.
Nothing was unlikable, however the master bed was a bit short for anyone 5’7 or above due to the foot rail and the mattress was very soft with no support at all I would recommend a medium/firm.
The lack of logs is a bit disappointing I did read they were available when booking and Netflix etc being shown in the photographs online but not being available is also a little deceptive but nothing major.

The location was very good, in the heart of Morpeth. Cottage was very easy to find.
The property would have been very cosy for 5 people but for a couple ideal.

Lovely location, decor was lovely. Clean
Bed was very soft, we rolled into each other all night. The duvet was very stained in the main bedroom. The mattress protector in the second room was stained. The window in second room was too difficult to close. On our last night it was cold and stormy, but there were no logs to use in the wood burner, so we had to Google the thermostat so we could use the heating. When the ensuite toilet flushed, the wall in the kitchen got wet. For over £500 for 4 nights, to have to strip the beds and put all the used items in the bath just seemed a little bit much

Beautiful cottage. Perfect base for our wee day trip to Alnwick, and a lovely park with a giant paddling pool for the kids just around the corner. Thanks 😊

Cottage was absolutely beautiful. It was cosy, comfortable and the bath was heaven.
Decor was unreal, you could easily live there!
Shower downstairs so no ones waiting around for the bath.
Gorgeous kitchen to cook in, plenty plates, cups utensils etc.
Parking was a bit tricky if there wasn't a space outside. But we were left a permit and plenty instructions as to were to find a space. We got in lucky and there was a space available outside. There was nothing to dislike about the cottage.
Also we were away for most of our stay so parking wasn't an issue.

The cottage was lovely.
The village it is situated in has lots to do.
Perfect for a small family with younger kids.
Overall really nice and well decorated
It felt smaller than what I thought.

Lovely attractive cosy cottage in a perfect central position in Morpeth. Also easy to catch bus to Newcastle. Excellent downstairs shower.
Towel rail/hooks, toilet roll holder, a little shelf in the upstairs loo would help, also shelf under bedroom mirror and a washing up bowl in kitchen

Our stay was unreal, 10/10! The decor in the property was stunning and felt so homey we loved it! Alex and his team were great too, always there when needed! Beautiful location and definitely worth the travel down from Scotland, would live here if I could!!

Great house for a short stay. Arrangements all went perfect and house is excellently decorated, styled and clean. Ideal alternative to a hotel and in central Town location. A great short family stay for us.

The property itself is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. In a very good location for all of the amenities in Morpeth too. Lovely little touches like having a Christmas tree up which made it extra special.
The shower is downstairs and is quite a small room so a bit inconvenient when getting ready. However, there is a gorgeous bath in the main bedroom so I would not let this put me off staying again.

Keys easy to obtain but (new) door very stiff and not easy to open at times. Property itself was beautifully presented and in a fantastic location for central Morpeth just a few mins from all the main amenities. We got lucky with the parking on the main road right outside the lane that services the cottage (thanks for the permit)! We loved the main living area which was really cosy once we got the burner going. The master bedroom was also very nice and the roll-top, free-standing bath a nice touch (but be wary of the tap which is a just a wee bit too far from the bath itself). All in all, a very good value festive stay and brightened up with Xmas decorations.
Front door really needs fixed. There was no dish towel in the kitchen and we had to re-wash a few wine glasses which had lipstick smudges on them. We also needed to buy firelighters to get the burner going though a few logs were kindly provided. The master bed had a dip in the middle which wasn't great for my back. But all these are just small issues in the grand scheme of things so just wee advisories for the hosts.

Great location if you want to be in Morpeth as it is right in the town.
Nothing of significance, it was a comfortable well located property.

Stunning decor and very convenient location the kitchen was very well equipped and the fact that there were 2 bathrooms was also very convenient.
Quite difficult to find and parking isn't easy during peak times although the hosts have done their best to make things easier. The second bedroom is quite small but still very comfortable.
