Schone kamer, ruim genoeg.

I liked that it was very clean and tidy and easy to access (by car).
The self-checkin was nice and handy, even though I had to phone and askt for directions. But that was because I didn't see the instant message in the Booking app.
The shower water temperature was finicky to regulate and the shower head holder was damaged, as well as the rainfall shower, so I had to hold it in my hand all the time.
Also, it would have been good if we could get the windows to close completely as my wife wakes up with even just a bit of sunlight.

It was very clean, new and well organised. Besides that great location near Lisbon and great facilities.
The bed was uncomfortable for me, it was too hard.
4.5 / 5.0
- Quiet neighbourhood
- Modern appliances
- Comfortable bed and room
- Self check-in and keyless tag entry
- Free on street parking available
- Can be noisy at times as windows are not insulated and located near train tracks
- Drying machine is of the condenser type, so takes a long time to dry
- Communal kitchen not always kept clean by other guests
- Although private room in attic has a private bathroom it is outside of the room, requiring a separate key for entry and creating slight inconvenience

It was so spacious and clean. Great value for money and would highly recommend. Very helpful housekeeping. Would definitely come to stay again in future. A little Portuguese gem 💎

Utilities were in really good condition. Very clean and tidy. Pool table was an extra option which personally I enjoyed. Well designed private bathroom. Simple and clear guiding instructions for the property provided as well.
Lack of natural lighting coming inside the room.

very spacious and clean house with great facilities and felt secure
The terrace and outdoor spaces needed some sun shades , the old wooden wardrobe in the room needs changing .

It's close to Lisbon, Cabo de Roca and Cintra. The apartment is situated in a big house with the other guests having their own rooms and common kitchen/dinning area. The place is on the top floor (attic) with it's own bathroom so you are quite separated from the other guests if privacy is what you seek.
Since the place is shared it's sometimes hard to keep everything clean, especially dishes, since other people might adhere to different standards when it comes to e.g. dish washing. The other thing to note, is that the apartment is in the attic (fully functional though, even for taller people) so you have to climb 2 flights of stairs to get there and the second one is very steep and narrow. Nevertheless we managed to traverse it a couple of times each day, even with our Golden Retriever and she is no small dog ;) Generally, the stairs are not a nuisance but just something to keep in mind, especially for elderly people or those of limited mobility.

Excellent location, close to Almada Forum, 10 minutes by car to Costa Caparica. Communication with the owner very fast and kind responses.
Kitchen well equipped, plenty space for all. Washing machines also. I recommend for a vacation in Almada.

The location towards Lisbon is good. Quick and easy to drive between the city and the guesthouse. The guesthouse is clean.
I booked a room with private bathroom at this guesthouse because I had to drive from Algarve to Lisbon for an operation. I couldn't drive back after the operation and needed a decent place to stay.
After solving the pin numbers chase to enter the guesthouse I realised my room was in the attic.
The guesthouse looks clean and renovated on the two floors, ground and 1st. But then there was this narrow and very steep staircase to the attic where my room was. The bathroom was outside the bedroom so I needed to get pyjamas on for going to the bathroom as well as trying to remember the 6 digit pin code to enter the room again.
The bedroom was tidy but I bumped my head going through the door.... I'm only 1,73 cm and I really don't understand how that is even legal to have the height of ceiling and doors so low.
The guesthouse is in a ordinary living neighbourhood and there are dogs in every single house around BARKING ALL NIGHT. The train also passes quite close and you can hear it very clearly.
The night I stayed was very windy /stormy and that also affected my sleep (or lack of it). There are glass roof tiles in the attic and some storage doors that the wind blows through and that night with quite a force.
I was offered to move to another room on a normal floor but I was already in bed after my operation and didn't have energy for that hazzle.
P s. Ohh and I had to put the extremely strong smelling home perfume outside my window to just be sble to breath. Much to strong
