Although this home is right across the street from York Cemetery, there's absolutely nothing eerie about it. In fact, we think it's rather charming, thanks to light-filled living areas, a cosy wood-burning stove and oodles of traditional character. Curl up in the window seats and admire the leafy view, share a meal at the dining table, snooze in the sumptuous bedrooms or sprawl out in the lounge while a movie plays on the smart TV. There's more than enough space to make yourself at home, especially with the pretty garden off the kitchen. On summer evenings, gather outside at the bistro table with a glass of wine, watching the daytime slowly fade as the scent of flowers lingers in the air. With supermarkets, eateries and even a playground all nearby, this home is well-suited to families who want to unwind at home and explore in equal measure.
