Good value for money. Nice staff.
Basic breakfast.
1.5 / 5.0
The manager and staff were nice and accommodating.
The breakfast was okay but very limited. It’s not a buffet they will serve them to you with a juice. If you ask for a water or coffee check with the manager first if it’s included in the breakfast. Their water is too expensive, 1.5L is 35 LE and the small one is 25 LE. Better buy from the supermarket it’s only 6-7 L.E. We bought ours for 10 LE from a nearby store.
McDonalds is a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. It is near to the train station. We usually order our food from McDonalda just dial 19991. Make sure you have an Egypt number (you can buy the sim card from the airport) and Egyptian pounds for payment.
Look for a hotel near McDonalds or Luxor Temple. Check tour packages from TripAdvisor or.Viator and compare the prices with the hotel’s packages. Ours is 150 USD for a joint program (family of 5) Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon, Karnak and Luxor Temple (lunch for two days are not included).
The tourist restaurants were all expensive, 30 USD/adult and 15/child. I think you can get it half the price. The tour guide gets a commission taking his guests to all the restaurants. The lunch buffet at Cairo Plaza was ok but very limited. The Hawaii Cafe was quite better than Cairo Plaza. Honestly, you can eat 30USD in a 4-5 star hotel in Luxor. Drinks are not included. Make sure to read the beverages menu with the prices. Do not go on a tour with lunch or dinner package.

Wonderful stay and beautiful place
2.5 / 5.0
It’s not bad for the price. I would say it’s walkable to the museum and a couple other sites but maybe wouldn’t recommend walking in the area at night for solo travelers, particularly women. To be fair, the front desk staff did warn me several times not to go out alone
WiFi was not consistent. Front desk arranged a taxi for me who turned out to be a scammer. Wanted to charge 500 pound for an 8 minute driver, I found a cab in the street for 70 pound

The price was amazing

Price is good. And it’s location is also good. Just walk a while and then you will see the avenue of Sphinx.
First night, the whole hotel became totally dark due to power shutdown. The second night, the elevator cannot work. The breakfast is too simple to be a breakfast. And the outside environment of the hotel is not quite acceptable.

Good location, Kerlos was extremely helpful, as was all the staff. Good food, awesome cappuccino! would stay again!
Not much.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and were far more interested in giving a good impression of the hotel than earning tips. The rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable. The AC was great. There was WiFi, but only of a standard expected in Luxor.
If you are looking for a friendly budget place to stay in Luxor I would very much recommend here.
The hotel has its own car for transfers to the airport. The driver was delightful and totally trustworthy.
The hotel is on a side street off the main road through Luxor, it was a little hard to find. It is just in the right after the Roman Catholic Monastery.
There was a minaret close by which was a little loud with the windows open, but only background noise when shut.

It was clean, fairly priced and located close to the Go Bus station.
It felt quite minimal and bare, but it was cheaper than most hotels in the area so I guess that’s expected.

The breakfast is wonderful and a variety of items

Very central and nice view from the rooftop
Shower didn’t work and the sink was leaking. The interior is generally dark and gloomy and you can feel the springs of the mattresses. At night you hear everything through the walls. It’s hard to communicate with the staff because of poor English. Breakfast really is nothing special. Dinner took really long to get ready and arrived basically cold. Booking sightseeing trips at the hotel seems like a total ripoff - they named a price three times as high as the one we found looking independently. Overall we would not recommend staying here again.

Great place to stay if you want to be close to everything in downtown Luxor, including the 'Luxor Temple'. Very friendly, attentive and communicative staff, and you get a very good breakfast as well.

Location is nice next to the market and a few good restaurants
Bed is really uncomfortable and the shower dirty. Staff was friendly during check in but during check out charged us double for the taxi to the bus station and charged us 5 euro for two small cans of soft drink.

Helpfuul personel, especially Ashrif and Kerlos helped us very well, I liked their bebavior , hostship. Hotel is inthe middle of the loxor. And karnak ,loxor temple, close to train and bus station. IF I come again Iwill choose Saint Catrine hotel again
I would rather if the breakfast be more rich.

Good location. Friendly staff. Willing to help with any concerns or doubts I had.
Breakfast started late. Nothing special about breakfast. Very basic but enough.
