Ligging en tuin met buitenbbq
Hottub was gaaf maar veel te heet om in te zitten; en de inrichting van het huis had smaakvoller gekund.

We needed a place to get some sleep in the Westfjords! The property is much more spacious than we expected.
everything is very worn and dated. The home appeared to be clean at the surface but everything seemed grimy and old. Also the most unbearably hot of all the homes we stayed at - despite turning heat down and opening windows, the thermostat read 30 degrees when we woke up.

While this property had an enormous amount of space, a hot tub, and a kitchen, we didn't realize how large and fully equipped Aegisholt would be. The kitchen has absolutely everything and would easily allow people to grab groceries and stay here for days.
it was NOT easy to find. The GPS in the car did not identify a route to get there and it is NOT right in Patreksfjorddur, but rather, 30 minutes outside of town. We had a person at the local Foss Hotel in Patreksfjorddur phone and get directions for us. Once you make the turn off the highway into the correct area, there are about four properties to choose from ... we had to scramble around looking for the houses that were painted brown with the Aegisholt "Welcome" sign. Note: The closest grocery store and/or restaurant is in Patreksfjordur, so travellers may have to drive there anyway before doubling back and landing in on your property.
