Location. Beds comfortable.
No heating in the bathroom, the towel radiator didn’t seem to work. As it’s March it was rather chilly.

Great location, in the heart of the old part of the village. Very comfy beds.
Although the property is old, and some issues are to be expected, it was very dirty and a lot of it incredibly tired. The kitchen was damp smelling and unclean. The heating was on when we arrived, which I assume was the mitigate against the damp downstairs in the kitchen, so that meant it was both hot, unclean and damp.
A lot of the windows were very dirty.
The shower cubicle was mouldy.
The stairs are incredibly steep and narrow, and I managed to cut my toe on a grip rod under the carpet on the stairs to the top room.

Comfy bed. Location in Robin Hoods Bay.
Cottage not very clean. Unwelcoming, and overpriced. Not as description. No attempt had been made to correct the problems that previous visitors had made, which meant that our stay was a great disappointment. For the price we paid we could have got a room at a very nice hotel with many more comforts!!

Excellent location. Quirky mix of period and modern features. Comfortable beds.
Towels had obviously been cleaned, but still had marks on them that made us reluctant to use them. (Cottage otherwise clean).

beautiful view from top bedroom, great location, lots of character
a bit dusty (corners/ edges) - a few dead flies/ moths. beautiful house that needs a bit of tlc

Location was great so close to everything.
Parking and loading bags was difficult but we were well warned before booking so it’s not a dislike it’s just what it is

unique, lovely welcome pack.
very steep stairs but actually was part of the charm of the place.

The location was perfect.
The steep stairs were fine for us but not suitable for very young/old.

Fab location. Really old historic cottage dating from 1638.
Comfy bedrooms. Lovely view from the top bedroom.
Very damp kitchen - smelt really damp.
Not very clean in that the edges of the carpets didn't look like they had been vacuumed in a long time - under bedside tables etc with old tissues and fluff.
Had to clean up the bin outside that the badgers emptied because the previous occupants or cleaner had not secured the bin lid properly.

Robin Hood's Bay is stunning.
No hot water throughout the whole stay.

A great location to explore RHB and the area around. The accommodation was comfy and warm and met all our needs for our stay.
Tiny issue with WiFi not working, but it didn’t affect our enjoyment of the property

Lovely characterful cottage right in the heart of the village. Very comfortable and spacious bedrooms, perfect for our weekend away.

Plenty of hot water, clean and comfortable beds, furnished to high standard and cosy. House was clean. Lots of character. Heaters provided were needed and helped. Great location and easy access to house.
Our feedback to the owners would be that it seemed like false advertising to say that children of all ages are welcome when this property is NOT suitable for young children. We traveled with a just turned 3 year old and there is no mention of 4 stories or unsafe steep stairs until the booking is confirmed. The stair gate we took did not fit any of the doors and we had to improvise which involved taking the single mattress downstairs and all of us sharing a room to keep an eye on any toddler night movement. There were also cleaning products stored under the sink in a cupboard that was not secured and our child opened this during breakfast and grabbed a bottle.
Also sound from next door was loud and at times it felt like they were in the room with us. Understand it is an old property.
The WiFi and TV connection also left a lot to be desired and it was not windy at all....
None of the windows would open as they were painted shut.
The bathroom towel rail didn't heat up so that room was very cold.
No tea bags or coffee (even one or two) which is a normal nice touch and would have been appreciated :).

location in village. Well equipped kitchen. Character features and decor. sea view from top bedroom.
No bath - essential if doing long walks. The heating- storage heater was not adequate to keep living room warm in March. No logs or kindling and fire lighters left and local shop closed.
