Schreckliches Zimmer in praktischer Lage

Praktische Lage um schnell per Zug in Manhattan zu sein

Die Kommunikation ist ein Glücksspiel. Manchmal bekommt man schnell eine Antwort, manchmal gar nicht. Die Telefonnummer ist nur pet SMS erreichbar. Zu sprechen gibt es niemanden. Wir haben die Check-in Daten erst NACH unserer Check-in Zeit erhalten und das auch erst nach mehrmaligem Hinweis und Nachhaken vor und nach der eigentlichen Check-in Zeit. Bis dahin mussten wir unsere Zeit auf der Straße totschlagen - in Unwissen, ob wir die Nacht auf der Straße verbringen müssen würden. Das Kellerzimmer ist wie eine Gefängniszelle. Keine Fenster, kaum Bewegungsfreiheit. Das Bett ist durchgelegen und wackelt wie auf einem Boot. Das Badezimmer ist geteilt, überall sind schwarze Flecken. Ob es Schimmel ist oder etwas anderes, lässt sich nicht sagen. Mitten in der Nacht fangen Leute an in der Küche Radau zu machen, es werden in Brüllender Lautstärke Telefonate geführt. An Schlafen war kaum zu denken. Wie diese Bleibe für über 100 USD jemals zu einer Wertung von 8,5 gekommen ist, ist mir absolut schleierhaft. Vielleicht weil man schon viele Tage vor Checkin dazu gedrängt wird mit einer 10 zu bewerten. Dafür war wohl Zeit, für den Tür-PIN nicht.

Do not stay here unless you don't have any other option

Beware of this place as they are scamming people for money. Do not stay here if you have any other options. They kept my deposit, accusing me of breaking a chair that I did not touch. I explained that I did not use the chair but was completely ignored. I followed up again to ask if they were going to return my deposit, they insisted that the chair was not broken before my check-in and now it is. I was not shown the broken chair before I left so there may not even have been anything broken. I was in that house for less than 9 hours; I basically only used the bathroom and slept in the bed. These are very dishonest people who are preying on anyone they can.

I spend lost getting the place for almost 2 hours

They barely have towels then they want me to charge cuz the White towels was dirty but it wasn’t me Get to the place location is a mind games… so so hard

Very bad, unpleaseant experience. Worst experience I could ever found here.

Worst experience ever. The room got no window and the only light sourse is keep flashing dramatically. In an attempt to resolve the issue, during which I presented multiple options to the landlord. Change my room (which was clearly still available on the website), change the light bulb, and give me a refund. Even offered to give me a refund and I would operate to rebook a room. Even just the luxury of moving a little table lamp, seat lamp, so that I can at least see without turning on the lights, because at that time I was really tired and desperately need to rest. However, after more than two hours of continuous communication, the landlord did not show up at all and did not agree to any solution. In the end, I had no choice but to leave and find another place to stay, and the landlord still refused to refund the room fee even after the platform communication. I hope no one else will be fooled. No one deserve this.

annonce mensongère une seule place de parking et dixit "l'hôte premier arrivé premier servi" pas de clim juste un ventilateur au plafond et fenêtre . porte de chambre non sécurisée facile à ouvrir .

Cost too much for the location and amenities.

Close to the subway, free parking, AC was working, had a ceiling fan

Parking was very tight, difficult to find, fan turns off when light turns off, shared bathrooms so this is really a hostel.

Totally unsatisfied with the whole process! I do not recommend this Host or Booking.com!

This Host property is a SCAM, this is not an entire house that your are reserving it is a Boarding House that you would share with other people, however when the Host sends you a video of the property, they send a video of a vacant house and show you all the rooms, but that is not what you get! After receiving the code by text, my family and I entered the house and we realized the situation of the living conditions and we left and found an Hotel and checked in for the duration of our stay. We didn't even stay and I tried to complain to Booking.com but I never got any kind of response or my Money Back! I will never use Booking.com again there is no customer service phone numbers only contacts by messaging in their App which they don't even monitor. Totally unsatisfied with the whole process! I do not recommend this Host or Booking.com!

It was an underground room with a dirty mattress 1- This is a self-service kind of place so if you face any issues you are on your own - you cant leave your luggage or expect anything before of after checkout times because there is no one managing the property 2- They say they are available 24hrs (that is a lie) even booking.com couldn't reach the hotel (it is not a hotel - its a joke of a place) and the number provided on the website doesnt work

False advertising, basement room. Left immediately after seeing the room

This room is in a basement. The booking confirmation says "Double Room with Park View" but there is no view at all to begin with, let alone a park view — It is literally in the basement. This is a tiny room with very low ceilings that was almost touching my head. Finding the property is also a challenge. The address on the website is wrong. I wasn't able to park where I was supposed to because the tiny alley leading up to the property was blocked by another car. I left immediately after seeing the room. 0/10 would never book again. Booking.com wouldn't also help me get a refund because this company is ***.

This definitely matched the description listed and I found it to be a great deal. I was a little nervous about using the alleyway where this house is located, but it’s actually a fairly quiet and safe walk from the street to the house. The street is super quiet since it is kinda hidden and away from the main roads, however just 2 blocks to the subway station. This is an affordable option which is clean/offers multiple amenities/is within walking distance to transportation and the host is very responsive (and responds quickly) and informative.
