Conveniently located beautiful secure hostel with a lovely staff

It was a beautiful hostel with very nice amenities. Plenty of space to cook and hangout in common area with a fireplace. And the shuttle stop to the mountain was 200m away and comes by every 15 minutes. Extremely convenient location!

I didn’t love that the room was either hot or cold. But i could open the window and use the space heater to balance the temperature

We LOVED staying here. Great location and a really fun place to hang out with strangers.

Sally was wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating. Everyone in the hostel staying was very friendly and personable.

We really enjoyed everything but if I have to pick out a negative, it would be that it was bit warm at night in our room but we would still go back again!

Enjoyed staying here

The location was great and so near to the bus stops to explore trailheads in Crested Butte. The house is great and bathrooms were clean and had all the supplies. I totally enjoyed my stay here. The dorm rooms were a little hot because there was no fan inside. But when I reached out to them they provided me with a floor fan which made my stay comfortable.

Superb

Dont know how old this favility is but ot is like new. Very clean! Front desk so helpful. Enjoyed the common room. All in all the best hostel Ive stayed in.

Tje stairs but thats just just an exception for me.

Very grateful to the staff who saved my passport

I left my passport on my bed and Salle was so helpful getting it back to me! Thank you thank you thank you

A women's only dorm, as a survivor of sexual assault, as so many women are, I would prefer a safe space for women only without having to pay hotel prices for a private room

Will stay again!

This hostel exceeded our expectations. The faculty was very clean, quiet, and had all the amenities we needed.

The rooms were warm. I turned off the heat and it was still 70 degrees even with the window open.

Exceptional

The room was clean and new. The shared bathrooms were cleaned. There shared facilities downstairs was nigh enough for everyone to use. The kitchen was nice.

Clean place but expensive for a hostel

Super clean. Great kitchen, dining and lounging area.

Exhaust fan below Rooms 210 and 209 for catering kitchen (unnecessarily) runs all night. Fortunately, we were able to relocate to avoid the noise. Pricing was high for a hostel.

There was no staff available to ask about issues. Our bedroom fan didn't work and we were unable to get a new one Kinda pricey for a hostel but we did stay peak wildflower season

This hostel is really special. well run, clean and inviting. Super simple, but quality, and just right for a short stay in Crested Butte. The beds are unusually comfortable!

Nice stay at Crested Butte Hostel

Great location and better maintained/cleaner than my own house. Far and away a superior hostel !

since the pandemic 2020 Colorado has been overrun by visitors and property costs are up but this was expensive nonetheless for a hostel. we booked fairly late so I don’t know what the bed options might be available. Ours was comfortable, but double – not big enough for the two of us. Air conditioning is not common in mountain towns. Bring your own box fan for the window as air circulation was not as I’d hoped - July visit

The location was great! Within walking distance to restaurants and hiking trails. Everybody was very friendly. I love the checkin process: email with codes to the building and your room. Very easy! My email went to my spam folder and I didn’t notice it. I emailed them and within seconds they resent the email and called me.

This stay was exactly what I needed this time and may use the facility again in the future.

The location was very close to the ski resort and was able to get back and forth easily. The room had enough features that was needed for the trip.

The only recommendation at this time would be to post some sort of quiet time reminder if possible. There were a couple of nights that I was awoken by loud talking and noise. Something to the affect of quiet time between say 10pm and 6am.

Clean, quiet, walking distance to everything in town

loud rattling fan in the women’s room; not a big deal just thought it might disturb other guests at night.
