Super breakfast cooked to order at the time requested and well presented. Friendly owners who make one feel welcome.

Would highly recommend. Great hosts & location.

Fantastic hosts...very friendly/the room was clean , quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the atmosphere in the pub was warm and friendly.

Ideal for what we wanted.

Good breakfast offering, plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Comfortable bed. Free car parking in a quiet location close to the main route. Great range of good beer and well cooked pub standards available.

Silly little points such as the room carpet was stained, but clean. There was mould around the shower. Did not like pre-ordered breakfast, tend to over order and waste food.

very pleasant and uplifting stay would like to go back.

Craig the manager, his family and team were so helpful and delightful to interact with. Very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The food was amazing including dinner and breakfast. Best breakfast by far we have every had all freshly cooked and quality produce. Same quality food for dinner also.

Location, food and rooms all very good, and friendly helpful hosts, so perfect for a short stay.

Breakfast very well organised and good quality, plus excellent cereals and fruit (including blueberries and muesli) available, unlike recent places we’ve stayed. The family team running the place were very solicitous and helpful, eg re dietary needs. Very good evening meal also. Comfortable bed and good room facilities.

Only problem was Booking.com sending confusing automated messages!

Good but with a little work could be excellent.

Basic room ok. Location and excellent evening meals and breakfasts. Friendly staff but a little under pressure. Good wifi.

Staff didn't come to fix controller despite saying they would. Bathroom functioned well but could do with an anti-mould clean. TV would not connect to BBC and was small.

Good pub and accommodation in a convenient location.

Very nice pub and restaurant with easy access to Goodwood Races, staff and owners very welcoming and helpful. Great breakfast and relaxed atmosphere.

Spacious room, not noisy despite overlooking the garden of the pub, good breakfast, location conveniently close to Chichester

A few spiders in the room, very soft bed mattress, green emergency light in the room lit all night, small towels

Lovely cooked breakfast cooked by the Landlord Wonderful selection of fresh fruit.and he had remembered to take the Bananas away as my husband is allergic.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Short walk to the Roman Palace and short bus trip into Chichester.

Really friendly staff. Great breakfast!

The staff were really friendly and although we were out at a wedding the pub looked really friendly. The chef was superb, did a really delicious breakfast for us and could not have been more helpful

A extra blanket or duvet in the wardrobe would have been good. I was asked if I needed anything extra and forgot to say so my bad!

I had a problem with the heating which the staff did rectify eventually. If there were instructions in the room this may have been avoided.

the room was clean, warm and ideally suited location wise to explore the local area. The hosts were great, really friendly and extremely helpful.

A full length or larger mirror somewhere in the room would have been welcome.

Great pub for a short break

Nice pub with rooms and car park at the rear. Friendly staff sorted out the teething problems quickly. Ate in the bar and had a good meal and a nice freshly cooked breakfast the following morning location is great for visiting Fishborne Roman Palace and Chichester

Bar closes early even if you’re residents.
