Wonderful hosts

Our hosts, Christelle and Sebastian, were absolutely wonderful. So warm and hospitable. They could not do enough for us and their other guests. Christelle was happy to book us tables for dinner at local restaurants. She was even kind enough to drive us to one of them that was several kilometers away. Although the bedroom was a little small, the house and extensive gardens were lovely with beautiful views over vineyards and up to Chateau-Chalon on the hill. Would highly recommend Maison Belenos.

Because it was so hot, we had to leave the windows and shutters open during the night and the sound of the nearby church bells was somewhat disruptive to sleep.

A lovely stay for our first visit to Jura

We were made to feel very welcome the hosts were very amenable, also booking a table for dinner at the Grand Jardin in the next village Our room was beautiful ,breakfasts were good with plenty of choice. The hosts have done a very good restoration on the building, without spoiling it. We will return.

An exceptional place to stay. I wish we had booked for longer!

The breakfast was magnificent, lots of variety, choice and quantity. Two comfortable rooms and our hosts were friendly and welcoming.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Stunning boutique style bed and breakfast in a beautiful location. Very friendly and helpful hosts who prepared a wonderful breakfast and packed lunch for us.

Although the packed lunch was lovely we did feel the price for it was a bit much.

Lovely country guesthouse nestled between two charming villages

The hosts were very welcoming, and communication was smooth. The family suite was clean, spacious, and well decorated. Very good breakfast with a large choice of locally sourced products. Lovely garden where guests can enjoy their breakfast when the weather allows.

Stunning place.

Beautifully renovated farmhouse, looking out on a vineyard, with a lovely garden and a swimming pool. We had a spacious and tastefully decorated room. Really exceptional breakfast, with high quality local produce, served in the garden. Friendly and helpful hosts, who booked a table for us at the local restaurant, which was walking distance from the property.

Lovely hosts - very welcoming. Excellent decor and peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was a treat - waffles and fresh juice :) Good recommendations for amenities in the town. Private parking and nice garden with pool (weather dependant)

Trés bon séjour

Lovely B&B in a lovely village near Chateau-Chalon. Beautiful garden with pool & lounge areas & with a view of the vineyards. Breakfast was delicious & all local products! Perfect host, so friendly & in for a chat, which we loved. Great restaurants around as well!

Rien. We woke a little early because of the noise of agricultural machinery, but that’s all part of the charm I guess :-) We loved it here!

In two months of travelling through Europe, this was undoubtedly our best experience.

Superb breakfast with very attentive hosts. Elegant, stylish rooms with quality fittings. Superb restoration of a building two centuries old. A credit to its owners.

A gem in the French Jura.

Super friendly and helpful. Found us a wonderful restaurant late in the evening and booked it for us. Absolutely gorgeous house facing a vineyard in the midst of beautiful trees. The room was beautiful, super clean and the bed very comfortable. What can I say, a little gem in the French Jura. We will definitely go back.

A wonderful B&B in a wonderful spoit hosted by wonderful people!

Christelle and Sebastian were very kind and willing to do anything they could to improve our stay. Breakfast was wonderful, the grounds are beautiful and surroundings spectacular rural France at its finest.

Enyoyable stay with great hosts in lovely area

The hosts were wonderful and an absolute delight! Breakfast was fabulous Very comfortable bed and great shower Beautifully decorated!

only a few minor things - no bedside table on one side, although space constraints were definitely present No toilet roll holder Tea and coffee making facilities were in room, but no small fridge for milk

Relaxed and lovely place close to Chateau-Chalon

Wonderful property and although our stay was very brief we absolutely enjoyed it. Our room was beautifully designed and really comfy, with views over some vineyards and Chateau-Chalon. Chateau- Chalon itself can be reached via a short hike. The property has an lush garden with a swimming pool so in summer this must be a lovely place to enjoy the afternoons. The hosts took great care of us and are genuinely welcoming and served a really nice breakfast, including home made waffles. Overall a great place to unwind!

Beautifully restored old house in beautiful rural village setting. Elegant interior decor. Personal attention by property/business owner. Breakfast was a rich and tasty spread.

Hugely recommended

The accomodation is located in a truly beautiful part of the Jura region. It is surrounded by hills with vineyards and has a big, charming garden which is great for relaxing. If you, like us, like wine, this is an excellent location with both Arbois and Chateau-Chalon nearby. The room itself is spacious enough for two people, clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast is plentiful and consist of biological, local products, something which we really appreciated. The hosts were marvelous, such nice people! Christelle helped us with tips (the relatively short hike to Chateau-Chalon is truly worth the effort) and reservations for local - excellent - restaurants. They even gave us a bottle of local wine because the pool was out of order. Not necessary of course, but it speaks tons about their hospitality and commitment to their guests. All in all hugely recommended!

Incredible property, beautiful location and excellent hospitality

A beautiful house in a wonderful location, right between two very charming towns. the host was so friendly and welcoming, we took advantage of the gardens, the pool and the badminton. We also enjoyed the 45 min walk on the vineyard trail up to Chateau-Chalon, from right behind the house. The room and breakfast were extremely nice.

Nothing to complain about, as the stay was perfect. I would just call out that there is absolutely no sign on the house and we drove by it twice looking for it. Finally we approached the house with the correct address and rang the doorbell. Even a small sign at the door would be helpful. But once settled in it was an amazing experience.

A very relaxing and comfortable place to stay in a beautiful area.

Very comfortable and clean, modern accommodation. It is well designed and the host, Christelle is very helpful. She gave information about the area and good recommendations for places to eat. Breakfast was delicious and the local produce was great.

A little bit noisy - bells and dogs! Pool was unavailable.

Wonderull place

The hospitality was extraordinary. The owners are very warm and welcome and made our stay wonderful. The breakfast was very special with lots of local fresh products. We had a very pleasant time with our three kids (4/6/8). The nearby Chateau Chalon is beautiful and a walk towards the village is very nice to do with kids. The room was comfortable, clean and offers everything you need. The big garden offers a pool and lots of things to do. The Jura area is really beautiful and you can experience the passion for wine, food and local specialities. We will definitely come back one day.

Lovely property near Chateau Chalon with delicious breakfast and lovely hosts!

Lovely location at the base of Chateau Chalon with a great restaurant walking distance from the property and an amazing breakfast of local products (including Comte cheese!) and homemade jams. The property itself is right up against the vineyards that slope down from Chateau Chalon (we had a great view of Chateau Chalon from our window!). There is a pool and some lovely seating areas around the yard--great place to relax! The hosts are lovely people and made us feel very welcome!

A perfect place in the a beautiful part of the country

We loved everything about our stay here. We were looking for a place near the villages of Chateau-Chalon and Baume-les-Messieurs and the location couldn't have been better. It's in a small village and thus very quiet and also very untouristy feeling. Our hosts, Christelle and Sebastien were marvelous and welcomed us with drinks, told us about the area and even found an open restaurant (which was great) nearby and made a reservation for us. Breakfast was exceptional as well. The renovations they've made to this centuries old home are both tasteful and delightful, a great blend of old and new. We loved our time there and will definitely go back if we're anywhere close to that region again.

Beautiful stay amongst the vineyards with very lovey owners

Everything! The rooms were lovely with beautiful wooden beams and an even more beautiful view. They were very clean and spacious. everything we needed and in a good distance from Chateau Chalon. The owners Sebastian and Crystal were lovely, very welcoming and helpful and also entertained our three year old. The breakfast was also delicious! We cannot wait to come back!
