This beautiful waterfront home has sprawling gardens and plenty of space to ensure your private escape from the city. Half of the home is the beautifully maintained historic original, and the other is a later addition. Spend your days relaxing by the water or on the giant deck, or, if it's raining, the reading room has tin roof that makes a beautiful peaceful sound.
The Space:
Do you need a great space to work remotely? This home has a private office space and 3 desks throughout for working, with great, reliable wifi!
Our home is located on a quiet, dead end street, and the property has wonderful privacy for a restful retreat. Note there is no beach or dock for swimming, and the shoreline is quite grassy/marshy. The property itself is well landscaped and perfect for lawn games or having a snooze on the hammock.
Order in, cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen, or take a quick 25 minute drive to downtown Ottawa where you can enjoy countless restaurants and activities! In just a short 20 minute drive you can reach Gatineau Park or Le Nordik Spa, and spend the day either hiking or relaxing!

My brother's family flew to Canada to stay with my mom and I at this beautiful house on the waterfront. The place was stunning, it had everything that we needed and a great location. The kitchen was fantastic and the wrap around porch was lovely sit sit on with your morning coffee to take in the stunning view. The hosts were fantastic and always answered our questions in a timely fashion. Highly recommended for quality family time!

Family Vacation
My family enjoyed their extra long Easter Weekend at this vacation home, although not having access to the wood burning fireplace was a huge disappointment. The fireplace and prepared wood supply are distinctly visible in the photos and one of the features we were looking for in making our choice. I realize it is not listed as a feature, but the fact that it is “featured” in the phots is misleading. The property was clean, easy to access, nicely located close to recreation areas, had lovely sitting areas to seclude away and read a book, and the kitchen was well equipped.
