This property was very nice and quiet. Set up on top of a hill with beautiful views and sitting out on the back porch was great. Grilling and watching the Olympics. The inside had so many neat old things that made the cabin charming. Bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed watching the deer every evening . 10/10 would recommend. David and Martha were great and responded quickly. They even left fresh eggs and sausage fruit was a nice touch.

This is a remarkable property. The hosts put a lot of attention to detail and it is a treat. We stayed the weekend but had our adult granddaughter staying one night. The space is a little tight for 3 adults but it was only one night and absolutely doable... The porch is outstanding. We spent coffee mornings and pleasant evenings sitting in the rockers and hubby took his breakfast on the 4 top table. We travel with our own coffee pot which is a lightweight travel Keurig... we were able to bring the pot out to the porch and use it in the outdoor kitchen area and so have our coffee without disturbing the sleeping granddaughter on the sofa bed. The kitchen was so perfectly stocked that I actually made breakfast and it was amazing. Everything we needed was accessible and easy to find. That well stocked referigerator was a delightful surprise as most BNB's just don't do that anymore. We had only "one" minor issue... the parking is on a somewhat steep incline and we had parked our car next to granddaughter's... when trying to leave and back out the loose material on the drive wouldn't catch traction and our Jeep Gladiator was sliding toward granddaughter's car as we tried to back out. After the granddaughter left we parked parallel instead of head in and had no more problems. We will DEFINITELY choose this property again. It's a perfect hill country retreat. While there, get a reservation at 1011 Bistro in Kerrville! Amazing!

I could go on and on about how wonderful our experience was with staying at the Red Barn! The hospitality that was shown far exceeded our expectations and was by far the best vacation stay we have experienced so far. We will be returning!
The hosts were so friendly. The Red Barn felt like home.
If you stay during the warmer months, a visit to the Ingram Dam is a must.

This was a great place for my husband and I to stay when we wanted to explore the Hill Country on our motorcycle. Very clean and well stocked. They thought of everything. Fresh eggs and pork sausage, corn on the cob, watermelon, fruit, veggies for the grill, drinks, coffee, you name it!!! Absolutely loved sitting on the patio in the early morning and evening watching the deer in the back yard. Cool vintage memorabilia for decoration that makes it feel so homey. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

It was perfect for us. The house is beautifully decorated. It was perfect for my daughter and I. There is no longer a hot tub, which didn't bother us. Would defiantly stay again.

Impressed with how cozy and welcoming this little Red Barn is. This place has everything you need to make you want to stay. From the thought out old school ranch style decor, to the floating TV over the grill this place makes you feel completely disconnected from the fast life and makes you dive into the peace and quiet of the hill country while letting you have some modern amenities just in case the football itch is too strong and you need to tune in for a few games.
If you want to enjoy their super well equipped kitchen, HEB is less than 10min drive and if cooking is not for you, then they have a lot of options between fast food and sit down places all within a few miles.
I loved the feeling of being secluded while also having a lot of places close and enjoyed many hours just chilling out on the deck while having a few brews.
I really enjoyed my time in this place and will use it in the future whenever I need to disconnect and slow things down.

It was so cozy and had a great view. Very private and just what we needed. We will be returning to this small but very well put together place. I loved the fireplace. It was cold when we went so it was perfect.

My husband and I just left the Red Barn. We had a great stay. I can't say enough about all of the extra touches put into this"tiny home!!" The hosts have thought about everything from toothbrushes to water, soda, fresh eggs, snacks, Danish, and venison sausage!! They even hung up birthday balloons and a banner for my husband. The kayaking is not on site but the host will transport the kayaks to the river when you want to use them. Seeing deer stroll thru the yard throughout the morning and evenings was so relaxing from the porch! I'd definitely recommend this home for a couple's get away!!

We have been B&B for about 38 years for our anniversaries mostly in the hill country. This was a gem find. David’s friendliness and willingness to tell us about his Red Barn project was fascinating, along with all the unique details he put into it! We enjoyed our well equipped B&B and left with some great ideas for our own home! Thank you David for the added touches that made our stay so great. The Humble Fork was our first meal and it was great- fried avocados were excellent and memorable! Great margaritas’s too! The other eateries a disappointment!

Enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and watching the hummingbirds and deer in the evenings. Easy access to Kerrville and only about 35 minutes to Frederiksberg. The house was perfect for 2. Very clean and well stocked pantry. Even fresh eggs in fridge.

Our family of four loved our stay over the Memorial Day weekend. The tiny house has lots of character, is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Everything was well thought-out and functional. The kitchen and outdoor patio were fully equipped. We cooked country breakfasts every day and grilled stakes one night. The bedding and towels were immaculate. The bathroom even had extra toiletry necessities, in case we forgot something. Our kids enjoyed a collection of board games, and yard games the hosts set out for them. David took kayaks or bikes to our location of choice every day, which was usually minutes away and we could spend a good part of the day exploring the river or local bike trails. We communicated with both David and Martha before our stay - they answered all our questions ad put us at ease. This continued throughout our stay as well. We truly felt taken care of and at home away from home!

The Little Red Barn was amazing! Our hosts, David and Martha, thought of everything to make our stay very comfortable. The fridge and pantry was stocked with breakfast food and snacks! The bathroom had everything we needed including toothbrushes in case we forgot. They have added a hot tub and very nice grilling area that are not in the pictures. I would highly recommend staying at the Little Red Barn if you are in the Kerrville area!

The Red Barn was amazing, David and Martha thought of everything. The barn was built by David, he maximized every inch of space and the attention to detail was outstanding. They stocked the place with snacks, drinks, fresh eggs and told us if we needed anything to just reach out. Martha would put out deer corn each morning and evening to bring the deer right up to the place. We sat the on the porch overlooking the property, watching the deer, sunrise and sunset was beautiful. The BBQ area on the porch has been updated and he has built in a really nice BBQ area, with an outside fridge, TV along with the gas grill. We will be coming back.

The Red Barn was our home away from home for two weeks. It was exactly like the pictures and David was a very welcoming host. He was friendly and helpful with information about Kerrville. The deck was a relaxing place to sit and the perfect spot for a hot tub. The cabin was a great central location to explore the surrounding towns and parks.

We enjoyed watching the deer play from the recently installed hot tub, which was such a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend this property!

The Red Barn is the perfect home away from home! From the comfortable bed to the hot tub on the deck, everything is just wonderful! David & Martha have thought of everything you could possibly want/need while staying there—blueberry muffins, eggs, sausage, fruit, coffee, toothbrush & toothpaste, deodorant (in case you forget), I could go on & on! We will be back soon!

The Red Barn had everything you would ever need. There were muffins waiting for us and the kitchen was stocked with water, snacks, etc. The deck had a table and a grill. There is a gate to the deck which allowed our pups to hang out with us and watch the deer below. We enjoyed looking at all of the decor in the house and continued noticing items throughout our stay. The hosts are wonderful and we will definitely be back!

Loved staying at the Red Barn! It is so cute and had everything we could possibly need. It was like a DIY Bed and Breakfast, which was so nice because we could make breakfast at the barn and not have to worry about going to the store. It was also pretty spacious and very comfortable. We brought our dog and he loved it as well, they even have an outdoor caged area for pets. Gorgeous fall views you can see from the nice deck! We will be back!!

Myself my husband and his brother came to visit Kerrville for a family gathering. The Red Barn was an oasis for us. This place is built by a craftsman. No detail was left out. I sat on the deck every morning for breakfast and even cooked breakfast on the grill one day. I loved the peace and quiet and the daily visits of the hummingbirds. All three of us said we would love to come back and stay! David, the host, was very hospitable and we had way more than what we needed. Choose this one you will be blown away!
