About this house rental

This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home that fits up to 8 people. The master bedroom contains a King size bed and connects to the hallway bathroom. There is also a large 55 inch TV. The other two rooms each contain a queen bed, and a brand new 40 inch Roku smart TV. There are ceiling fans throughout the home and one of the bedrooms, as well as a living room mini split AC unit. There is also a large 65 inch TV in the living room along with a large sectional, and a pool table that converts into an air hockey table. *All windows now have curtains, as well as blinds*

šŸ‘¶ A 6-in-1 high chair is provided as well as a toddler table with four seats, Baby Trend nursery center, and play pen with mattress.

šŸ”¹ļøThere is a large outdoor area for lounging and entertainment, including two long tables with seating, a foosball table, Alexa device, hammock, and pool! A propane tank for the gas BBQ is provided, please refill it at your discretion.

šŸ”¹ļøThis house is attached to another home. The driveway area is shared, but the spaces are completely separate and private.

šŸ”¹ļøPool heating is offered for an additional fee of $100/day, from 8am-8pm. Please advise if you are interested in this additional amenity. Please be advised that we are not liable for weather conditions affecting the pool heating. The pool is approximately 10 feet deep. The home also has solar pool heating on warm days.

āš ļøOnly guest on reservation permitted on property unless prior consent given by host. Occupancy price is for 8. Guests over 8 are charged $50/day. This includes day time visitors and any visitors on the property

āž”ļøPool has solar heating on sunny days. Gas heating is also available for an additional fee of $100/day. Please advise if you are interested in this additional amenity. The pool is approximately 10 feet deep.

āž”ļøLaundry services: Laundry services can be arranged. This includes coming to the property to pick up your linens and dropping off new ones, within a 24 hour period. This can be provided weekly as a complimentary service. Cleaning every 2 weeks can be provided as well.

āž”ļøPlease no trash or pool floaties with glitter. Left over trash or glitter found in pool will lead to a $100 charge for emergency filter cleaning.

First let me be fair and say the property itself wasn't that bad. Its full of little extras especially for kids which makes my biggest complaint kind of odd but ill get to that shortly. When we arrived something didnt seem right and after about 20 mins and probably 20 phone calls I finally recieved a call back. The owner had a slight attitude but nothing crazy saying all the info i needed was sent to me. Problem was it was the wrong address listed! After that everything was fine, nice ammenities, kid friendly blah blah until you turn on the water.... SCALDING HOT. No exageration. My 6 month old recieved a 2nd degree burn on her leg from that outrageously hot water! We had to take her to the emergency room and she's still recovering. To go through all the trouble to make an environment safe for kids you would think Scalding hot water would be left off the list. Obviously won't be back.

Iā€™ll start by saying this was a last minute booking as our house we originally had cancelled on us four weeks out from our trip and we didnā€™t have many options, that being said.. The cons: The pictures from this listing are old. The fooseball table is falling apart you literally canā€™t use it without worrying that itā€™s going to crash down on you. The poker/ping pong/air hockey table is also starting to come apart and the paddles are as well. Three quarters of the dishes in the cupboards were dirty and had to be washed again before using and walking around barefoot in the house your feet got dirty. The beds were hard and uncomfortable (all three) and one door to a bedroom didnā€™t latch shut. Some of the kitchen chairs have sharp tacks sticking through the fabric and I cut my leg open on a tack and the water gets extremely hot which would worry me with children in the house. The sharing of the property with the full time resident is fine, we didnā€™t see much of them and it didnā€™t bother us. I would have preferred to have been notified that the pool maintenance guy was coming over but instead he just showed up in the back yard, but he was nice. We werenā€™t offered laundry service until I asked about it and the only reason i saw it was available was through other reviews of the house. I was surprised to see this house didnā€™t have laundry, thatā€™s our fault for missing it. The pros: nice pool and back yard and Nicole was very quick at responding to any questions and helping us when we locked ourselves out of the house. It is not a bad place to stay, I think good beds would have made up for everything else, but I think the listing needs updating and a little more attention to cleanliness and safety such as updating the chairs, removing or updating the play tables, offering laundry service upfront like i saw elsewhere, etc. we do appreciate you opening your home to us.
