The Grovers were super responsive and accommodating. They are awesome. We needed to a special early check-in due to a same day funeral at noon. We were able to quickly wash/dry and iron laundry and make it on time.
The decor is as the name suggests - like staying with Grandma. No frills and not roomy, but clean and comfy. My only suggestion would be to get a cheap wall mount smart TV for the kitchen area.

This was a modest basement apartment attached to the host's house with a fairly private side entrance down a flight of 12 stairs off a short gravel driveway. The appliances were dated but functional and satisfactory. The dining area was a little proscribed, but not a fatal flaw for our group. Sleeping accommodations were adequate and access to the museums and parks was wonderful. The host was quite friendly and even kind to our curious 5-yr-old when he had important questions about her goats and horses.

Comfortable family setting with a good location for day trips in and out of parks and monuments. The apartment is very private with good parking. The Edge of the Cedars park and museum is at the end of the street. We were there three days and could have stayed longer with more to do.

The town was really nice and close to lots of beautiful sights. The basement was a nice place to relax and have some room to spread out compared to all the motels we stayed in during the trip. It was nice to have two bedrooms. The washer and dryer came in handy as we were halfway through our trip and could wash clothes. Jamal we met us outside to show us how to get in and where to park. She was helpful when we left as well. Not fancy but everything we needed.

In the middle of a 5 week camping trip we enjoyed the showers, beds, and washer/dryer. Nicely priced, clean, quiet, and allows pets. Don’t miss the Edge of the Cedars State Park.

Cozy, comfy, clean, and quiet.
GMH provided a basket of goodies such as coffee pods, granola bars, and s'mores, which was a nice touch!
The rooms were all clean, as were the kitchen/dining and bathroom.
The communication from GMH was very good, but I was out of internet/phone range so I did not receive all the messages until after I had arrived.
...not to worry, GMH made thoughtful arrangements for my family and me to check in etc and everything turned out perfectly.
My family will stay here again!

The place was not very clean. But that said we had a lovely stay. All you need was there, even a nice welcoming box with goodies. And a perfect location for canyon land hikes.

Grandma's hideaway was the perfect stopping place for our family on our journey to AZ for Christmas. The photos don't do it justice, it's a perfect little hideaway. This was a warm cozy stop for us and our dogs. We used the kitchen to cook dinner and breakfast for our family. We will absolutely try to stay here again.

It is a typical basement apartment. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom and kitchen. It is modestly furnished, and comfortable.
The bathroom and kitchen are due for an update.

We arrived on Sunday and the entire town was closed. Had to have dinner at subway. Only other choice was A&W. Grocery stores were also closed. Also not even a TV at the house.

Perfect for what we needed
We came to town last minute for a funeral and needed a place to stay that allowed our dog. We didn't spend a ton of time in the unit but felt very welcome and were happy to have a place to stay. The owner was very good at communicating and helped us to add on an extra night last minute and answered the questions we had.

We have a special-needs adult child, so when we travel, we look for hotels with small suites. These hotels are hard to find in SE Utah. My wife found this listing on VRBO, and it fit our needs well. It was nice to have comfortable beds for all of us, without all of the chain hotel blandness.

Perfect Long Weekend Stay
Grandma Marva's Hidehout was perfect for our long weekend. Although we didn't spend much time there as we were out riding side-by-sides during the day, it was nice to have a warm shower and comfortable bed at the end of a long day. The Hideout was clean, adequately furnished and equipped with everything we needed ... much more comfortable and economical than a stuffy motel room! We highly recommend the place and will definitely stay there on our next adventure to the area. Janalee and Eric are wonderful hosts.

Great Budget Stay
Like us much of it is aging and not in the best working order. However, basic needs are met and you can't beat the price. Janalee is very personable and accommodating.

Amazing place to stay
This is an amazing place to stay. All the amenities you can ask for. The place was spotless when we arrived. We had forgot to bring sandwich bags and looked in the cabinet. There they where.
All in all we greatly enjoyed our 6 days. The owners have no issues with us leaving super early (we left between 4 and 6 am each day) and returning late. If we ever need a place in this area again it will be reserving here.

Perfect!
This basement apartment had everything that my friends and I needed, and then some. Laundry in unit, quiet space, decor that makes you feel like you're visiting your grandma. A few snacks and the ingredients for stores, and the farm eggs in the fridge were an awesome touch!
The hosts were super friendly and accommodating and even helped us out by running down to turn off the crock pot for us when we asked if they could!
Don't be put off by the distance between this place and the national parks. The drive is beautiful and goes by quick.
Plenty of spots nearby for groceries, gas etc so the location is convenient.
Would definitely stay again!

Comfortable Little Place
This basement apartment was just what you would expect from staying with your grandma, the decor and style mixed with the comfortable at home feel. The beds were comfortable. It lists that it sleeps 8, but it sleeps 6 comfortably (3 beds), any more than that you will have people sleeping on the floor. Which wasn't a problem with us because the carpet is so soft, new, and comfortable the kids were happy to be on the floor. They also have a pack'n play for babies to sleep in. The hosts left us with everything to make smores, 2 dozen farm fresh eggs, hot chocolate, coffee, pop tarts, and breakfast bars. It was quiet and peaceful without any disruptions. The hosts were very kind and welcomed us when we pulled in. They left us their phone number in case we needed anything (which we didn't). The apartment was very clean minus the cobwebs on the ceiling and stains on the quilts (the bedding was very clean and had obviously been washed but they were old handmade quilts so it should not be a shock to have stains on them), but for such an inexpensive cleaning fee it definitely surpassed my expectations. It really was a great place to stay.
