It's called The River Shack... but it's more like The River "Chic" ... You will feel like you are at an all inclusive private resort here at The River Shack - completely and privately inclusive for you!
Each bedroom has a queen bed to sleep a total of four guests. The living room is furnished with a sofa bed to accommodate two additional guests. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparation of all meals. A laundry room is on site as well, so pack as little or as much as you like!
Enjoy an enormous outside entertainment area to include an outdoor kitchen, lots of dining space, fire pit, heated pool & spa all while admiring the amazing view of the Imperial River.

The River Shack was just what my family was looking for! My step mother is handicap and I have a 7 yr old so we loved the layout of the property and how quiet and relaxing it was. Would definitely book this property again. Fishing is good as well if that helps anyone. Hooked a snook that had to be over 36” but got broke off

Beautiful,relaxing or lots to keep busy. The pool and hot tub and perfect for water people (like me) or there is fishing or kayaking an sunbathing and the dog next-door gives a bark to let you know dolphins are coming through. I love that everything you need is right off the road you are on to not have to go into busy traffic. Nardi was amazing and very helpful cant wait to come back.

Our family of four had an amazing stay. This is a beautiful property. We stayed over New Years and enjoyed the firework show across the river! Everything was taken care of during our stay. Really enjoyed cooking in the new kitchen. We spent hours in the jacuzzi/pool. Extremely clean. Will stay again!

My gf and I were celebrating an anniversary and found this cute little place. I am very glad the owner was able yo help me book as vrbo had a glitch. The place is decorated very nicely, feels nice and cozy. The bbq came in handy as we made some steaks our first nice. The pool was great after that nice meal. Interior was very welcoming, great design choice. Just look at the pictures its a great representation of what to expect. At night the whole back yard is lit by accent lighting, and under the dock there are lights in the water where you will see fish circling. As you can tell we were very happy with our stay. 10/10, you wont be disappointed

Although the beach was just a short drive away, we found it hard to leave the house, as the backyard provided us with endless entertainment. The pool and hot tub were nothing short of amazing, and we enjoyed spending most of our time there. Thanks to the provided stand up paddle boards and kayaks, we ventured out to explore the picturesque canals surrounding the area, creating unforgettable memories together.
The abundance of seating outdoors allowed us to comfortably unwind while making s'mores over the fire pit, creating a sense of tranquility and relaxation. Overall, The River Shack provided the perfect oasis for our family to unwind, making our stay an unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful retreat in Bonita Springs, Florida.

Been going to Bonita for 20 years. Our old rental was not available. Found this place and fell in love with it. Nardi (the owner) is one of the nicest guy you'll ever meet and made us feel more than welcome. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The location on the river was perfect, we liked so much we booked it for next year while we were still there.

This is no shack on the river! Although on the small side for the area, as they say good things come in small packages. The house is beautifully renovated with upscale features thruout. The outdoor space was as wonderful as the indoor, with the sights and sounds of wildlife up and down the river. We especially enjoyed the many hours spent poolside overlooking the river and the warm hot tub after dark. Hoping to be back again soon!

My husband and I live locally in Fort Myers. Due to the hurricane we were unable to have our family stay in our home. I found this wonderful home and it really is impressive. There’s so much to do, we just stayed at the house and swam in the pool, played corn hole, fished all day and in the evening chatting around the fire pit. It was a great “home away from home”.
Very clean. Comfortable beds. And a great outdoor sound and light system. Quiet neighborhood. The home is located on a private road. The home is beautifully decorated as well.

This home was amazing and offered us exactly what we needed. The pictures do not do the property justice. We enjoyed all of the amenities and everything worked perfectly. The house was very clean, bright, and the AC worked great. The sound system was awesome, the beds were so comfortable, the bathroom and closet are huge, and the view from every window is spectacular. Outside was even better! The backyard was an Oasis and the setup was beautiful. We loved the multiple sitting areas, the fire pit, and the pool spa combo was divine. We were so happy that it was open with no screen enclosure, and we had no problem with bugs or anything. We would definitely stay here again!

Quaint, quiet, and perfect for our little group. Publix is just up the road for the few things we wanted or forgot (kitchen garbage bags) but aside from that, there’s no real reason to leave. Pool & hot tub were great and the outdoor space was expansive with seating in the shade nearly any time of day.
Host was friendly & responsive. We’ll be back!

We would live here forever!!! This home is the epitome of stress relief and vacation get away all in one!!! The home is beautiful. The outdoor living space is to die for!!! Please check out the sound system!!! The home had everything we needed, and then some. We kayaked through the canal, chilled by the pool and would end the evening in the hot tub!!! Private Mini-Resort
We loved the River Shack. Inside was very comfortable, with plenty of room. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. But you go to Florida in February to be outside, right. That's where the River Shack really excels. The heated pool and hot tub were fabulous. The grounds were manicured, with plenty of seating and even a fire pit. Fishing off the dock and watching the river roll by was very relaxing. We even saw some dolphin and a manatee in the river. Our host Nardi could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. Hated to leave, and give it the highest reccomendation.

Vacation perfection
We had such a wonderful time at this property. Communicarion with the owner was timely and pleasant. The Casita is separated by the breezeway so we (the parents) really felt like we had our own space. The rental was very well appointed in furnishings, kitchen items, and outdoor living. Everything was clean and convenient. The pool and hot tub were truly heated and kept at a very comfortable temperature.
The location was perfect for us. Besides the amenities at the property, this is what we enjoyed while here:
1. Edison/Ford Estates. Sanibel Island.
2. Wootens boat tours in the Everglades. The Havana Cafe. The pier at Naples.
3. CGT kayaks on the imperial River. Everglades wonder gardens.
4. Barefoot beach
5. Vanderbilt beach
6. Publix 2 blocks to the West (we had to supply most of the paper products, detergents, bath products, garbage bags, etc)
If you are looking for shelling and a more natural beach, go to barefoot Beach. If you are looking for a more groomed beach with the white sand, head further south to Vanderbilt Beach. Both were lovely. The last day we were there, we saw manatees swimming in the river while we enjoyed coffee on the patio!
The addition of kayaks or SUP boards at the property would make this space a 15/10 for me.

Amazing Winter Getaway
Visiting from a cold snowy area in January, we LOVED the beautiful outdoor space and fully utilized the fire pit, pool, spa, and sound system. The property was as advertised, VERY clean, comfortable beds, and had great communication with Nardi. This place is ideal for a small group of friends or family to gather. My husband loved that he could watch the NFL playoffs from the pool. Bring your fishing pole, take a kayak out, or relax in the hammock. We did not want to leave and hope to visit again.

A great outdoor space!!
This property has a fantastic outdoor space along the river that has everything you need to enjoy outdoor cooking and eating, pool time and watching the boats go by on the river. You can also enjoy corn toss and a beautiful old dominos game table. It's a quiet neighborhood at the end of the street and very relaxing!
The kitchen is well stocked and there are a lot of windows to enjoy the outdoor view. There is another bungalow on the property that was not rented and I would have been disappointed if it was at the same time, so I would check on that before booking if privacy is important.
The one thing to be aware of is that there was not a hair dryer or showering supplies so you will need to bring your own.

Fantastic Property!
We booked the River Shack for a family getaway for a few days before Christmas. The house and amenities were beyond our expectations and we could not have been happier with our stay. The heated pool was perfect for the kids (ages 11 & 14) and the hot tub was perfect for the adults. The house is stocked with everything you need and is beautiful inside and out.
The beach is a short drive with several parks to choose from for parking (public parking can be difficult to find).
The owner was very easy to work with and quick to respond to a couple of questions we had.
You won't be disappointed with this property. Five stars!!!
