The Rustic Shed is a one of a kind, converted shed just waiting for you and your family to come, kick back and soak up some relaxing, country air. We've paid attention to all the details and think you'll appreciate the unique lighting, the wonderful open gathering spaces, the fully stocked kitchen, well appointed bathrooms, comfy beds and the private yard. Conveniently all on one level, you'll appreciate the feeling of easy living from the moment you open the giant garage door to find a large parking or play area complete with a pool table and unique lighting. As you enter through the garage, you'll find an awesome game room complete with billiards, foosball, darts and a racing game. We also have comfy seating and a beautiful custom bar area and top it off with 2 big screen TV's! After you pass through the game room, you'll enter the living space, full of soothing wood and warm tones throughout the home. We have in-floor heating in the beautiful stained concrete floors that feels heavenly in the cold Wisconsin months. During the summer, you'll appreciate the central air and carefree feel of this home. There are plenty of bathrooms including one huge bathroom that has a beautifully tiled walk-in shower. As you walk down the hall, you'll find a wonderful great room that is just waiting to bring your family or group together; making memories at this beautiful, welcoming home. The kitchen is large, modern and well equipped to make meals if you choose. Just outside the dining area there is a great covered porch for eating outside, hanging out while BBQing or birdwatching. There is a small swing set in the backyard as well as some nice places for yard games. Progressing around the yard you'll find a large fire pit area with seating. Here in the summer, you'll see a ton of stars and usually lots of fireflies-don't forget stuff for s'mores! We also have a nice basketball hoop for you to enjoy. The adjoining field is owned by others, but is wonderful for watching deer and turkeys as well as lots of birds. We know you'll love hanging out in this beautiful space. It has very nice finishes, yet has an air of relaxed comfort that is hard to find. All of this is located just minutes from the Dells. This was a spacious and welcoming property for my family. The game room was a hit for all, allowing inter-generational playtime on the days it was too hot to be outside fishing. It's close to local parks and attractions, including the boat tours and mini golf. We particularly liked the spacious kitchen, the grill, the large shelving units in the bedrooms, tables for toiletries in the bathroom, and most especially, the ability to close off the game room so that the baby could sleep and we could still play! Such a comfortable place! Thank you very much for your hospitality!

We had a super great weekend. Beginning with a Driftless Glen distillery tour and tasting, and then dinner at the legendary Ishnala Supper Club. We were a group of 8 and there was way more sleeping room than we expected which was very nice. Also liked that the garage was connected to the house. Very helpful for load in. Everything was in working order, clean, and in great shape. Sondra is excellent with communications and must come from a background in hospitality. I definitely recommend this place, and would come back if we're staying in the area.

This house was amazing!!!! The house is beautiful and includes everything you need for a wonderful getaway. The game room kept the teens (and adults!) entertained for hours. The fire pit, porch, and basketball hoop provided beautiful places to spend time outside. The location is ideal too!!! The house is located just 5-10 minutes away from a variety of attractions, but it feels super secluded and you can’t even see any neighbors! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to The Dells and we would stay here again on our next trip. Highly recommend!!!!!!

This wonderful, property is a refreshing, peaceful, impeccably clean, comfortable, spacious sanctuary and yet just a very short drive from the busy, touristy section of the Dells. It was a perfect, one level, pet friendly, retreat for our family of 6 adults, 3 children (under 8yo) who enjoy both the quiet activities (i.e. movies, board games, puzzles, and campfire) and also the action games of playing pool, fuse-ball, arcade machines, shooting hoops at their outdoor basketball net as well as playing our exterior yard games brought from home. The amenity filled kitchen and large dining table was great for family meals. The laundry room was a nice time saver (FYI for me to next time bring the laundry soap in "pod" form). During the rainy days their incredibly huge garage became a second sports court for the kids and dogs to run around in. We were surprised and relieved to discover, that although the exterior was made of all metal, this property had great wi-fi service and was insulated so well that we didn't hear the noise of the rain showers until we went into the garage section of the building! Sondra, the host, is delightful, and both easy to reach and talk to! She and her family have done a great job caring for this home! We spent 4 nights here and our adult kids were so impressed with this property that they're already asking me to book it again for next year's annual family vacation!!

The place is exactly what it’s described to be. The game room door separating the house is great as we had two littles that we didn’t necessarily want to keep up when the adults were having fun! Was close to the water parks and other fun attractions. We definitely would stay there again!

Myself and coworkers thoroughly enjoyed our time here! And our meeting was very productive due to no distractions. This rental is absolutely as advertised. Highly recommend!

The pictures dont do it justice! There is a crop field behind the house and at dusk, you can see anywhere between 5-20 deer. Super relaxing but oh the bugs! Bring bug spray and fly swatters. The game room was a hit!! We couldn't get enough of the Nintendo Arcade.. feel free to beat our high scores. The place was perfect for board games and a family vacation. There are basketballs and a volleyball on site. Its super clean and the host was very responsive through email! Definitely will be back!

Fantastic stay! I travel a ton all over the US and I can tell you that Sondra and her team has this down. There is constant communication to make sure you have everything you need. The property was everything they promised. Very clean and well equipped. The kids and dads lol, really enjoyed the spacious game room. Right out of downtown Dells while still giving you the quiet north woods feel. I would definitely stay again and look forward to trying another one of their properties. Book it.

My daughter was married at the Swan Barn Door. The Rustic Shed was about 4 minutes away. Easy to get back and forth from the venue to the VRBO with very little to no traffic. Close enough and easy to get to the heart of the WI Dells but also far enough out to not be affected by goings on or traffic. The Rustic Shed was clean and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Our closest friends - four couples from WI and MN - gathered for the weekend to reconnect and relax together. The Rustic Shed four-bedroom property exceeded our expectations. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked - even a crock pot and waffle iron. Plenty of space and comfy furniture to relax and a fantastic game room with big screen tv’s, pool, darts, foos ball and more! Our only regret is that the weather was too cold and dreary to enjoy the outdoors and beautiful fire pit. We all agree we will definitely meet here again.

We spent a great skiing weekend at the cabin. The property is exactly as described. It was super clean and roomy. We were a group of 2 families (8 total) and felt that another 4 ppl could stay with us comfortably. The cabin is about 20 minutes from Cascade Mountain so it was an easy drive each day to go skiing. It's clear the owners are making additional improvements to the game room and decor, which should make it even more fun. Would definitely recommend it!

Booked this property for a golf outing and a weekend getaway with some buddies. The house and pole barn are very very clean and just what we needed to have some fun! It rained the first and second to last day and the pole barn was perfect! About 7mins to downtown Dells! Don't hesitate to book this Vrbo!

Family Fun at the Shed
The property was lovely. The kitchen was great and the family space was a lot of fun too. The kids really appreciated the chalk board and crayons. We didn’t use the grill, but the outdoor patio was nice, as well. We enjoyed the location as it was close to the action but also felt private and secluded.
Our kids also enjoyed pool and foozeball. Who am I kidding, I enjoyed the pool table too.
The shed was great, and the kids want to go back next summer.

Bach Weekend was a blast
I had my bachelorette weekend here and it was incredible! The house is set up to entertain with the large communal room. Beds were very comfy—the floor even proved to be a good spot to sleep too ;) . Communication was great between myself and the homeowner. Would definitely recommend!
