You will discover that Life is Good when you stay at our three bedroom South Walton vacation home near the beaches of the Emerald Coast. Located in the Frangista Beach community, you will be a short stroll away from the beach. Relax by your private splash pool or have dinner on the brick patio after a fun filled day at the beautiful beach. Free umbrella/chair set up included each day (March-Nov). Walk to the beachfront restaurant Pompano Joe's for a quick lunch or dinner. Fantastic shopping; Destin Commons, Silver Sands Factory Stores and Grand Boulevard are just a short drive away. For a tranquil change of pace, visit HarborWalk and watch the fishing boats come in at the end of the day or even fish yourself on one of the many charter options. Or head over to Dewey Destin's on the bay for a taste of old Florida dining and catch some beautiful sunsets over the bay. Come relax at Life is Good.

New for 2022: New flooring, furniture, mattresses and décor. Upgraded high speed internet. Private beach access is provided through the Hollywood St. gate, where the good folks at La Dolce Vita will provide an umbrella and two beach chairs, reserved in your name, at no additional charge. Beach towels are provided, and a beach wagon is available to help you haul your things (or small children!) to the beach.

We did not stay, the house was filthy. The master bed had a top sheet over the plastic mattress cover and that was disgustingly stained. The owner refunded most of our money, but we were unable to stay due to the cleanliness. Dust an inch

We had a very enjoyable stay in this well stocked home. Everything you need is here. We did have an issue with the air conditioning, and it was fixed the same day. The manager was very responsive. The ease and comfort of this home was exceptional. Highly recommend!

Family trip with Adult children. Thankful for the extra beach towels and plenty of bath towels. The blue desk with the charging stations was a plus. The beach was beautiful and the weather cooperated no rain! Plenty of beach time and then games and puzzles. We used the grill twice. Thsnks

We vacationed as a family with our 5 year grandson and 2 dachshunds. It was perfect for us. The backyard was great for our dogs. Kitchen has everything we needed to cook and bake. We enjoyed the walk to the beach also. The plus was a swimming pool at the home. Thank you we loved our stay

As listed, very well kept home that has about everything you’ll need for a stay; convenient location; pool was good size and the kids really enjoyed it; walk to the beach was easy and nice to have the chairs and umbrella already setup for you; will definitely be staying again

For a small cottage this house was amazing! Awesome outdoor spaces and more that enough room for four adults and 2 kids. Location was close to restaurants and the beach. Would definitely stay there again!

The owners were great about communication. To no fault of theirs...it was college spring break time so was a VERY BUSY and loud area. With that being said, the location was very good for a short 5-10 minute walk to beach. (Hollywood St entrance) The cottage was very cute; however, it was not very clean. Dust, food crumbs on mats in kitchen and bathroom vanities/mirrors werent cleaned well. The cottage had most of what we needed for week stay. Liked that each room had own tv etc. Winn Dixie grocery store 2 mikes aelway, which we used quite a bit. We enjoyed hanging out by splash pool. Pool was on the cold side so kids used sparingly. Was nice to have laundry on site so could go home with clean clothes. The owners are very good to work with and they are addressing the cleaning issue. 😀

This was by far the best rental we have stayed at while on our yearly vacation. Only thing I wish we had was a golf cart. But you can’t beat the price for location and private pool overall this was a great choice and I will try and book this home again next summer.

Great stay. Property very well equipped with linen, all utensils needed including cooking wares. You need to bring nothing except personal items. Even pool toys & beach chairs, towels etc all there. Property was perfect for 6+. Short 2 block walk to beach. Would highly recommend

The pictures were accurate, the house was adorable with every amenity you could want. This was just a short walk to the beach and to have private access was super nice. The owners were responsive and polite, and I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in the Emerald Coast.

When we made our reservations, we didn’t have our plane reservations, because it was to far out to make them. When we did make our airline reservations we needed 2 more days added on Chris and Penny did not hesitate to give them to us. The pool is so kid friendly and the back patio was absolutely inviting. All the seating area and privacy was great. The beach is 2 1/2 blocks away and so is Dairy Queen, we did have a Ice Cream truck that came by every night. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

Had a great time with our family plus pup. Nice size for us. Cute backyard. We ate outside almost every meal. The pool was small but adequate for our needs. Walk to the beach wasn’t bad. I will say if you have elderly family members the stairs to the beach are a bit steep. All in all a great location for walking to shops and the beach.

Great place to stay if you want to bring your pets, with 2 notations. Floors are slippery so some dogs may slip & slide. It’s nice to have an outside yard, but plan on staying outside with your animal to make sure he can’t find a way to escape. The host has gone above & beyond to make sure your every need has been met. We will be back next year!

My wife, our 2 daughters and I had the best week staying at Chris and Penny’s home. It was so cute and just a short walk to the beach where we had our chairs waiting for us each day. There is a coffee shop and restaurant right down the street. We enjoyed nights grilling in the fenced backyard and hanging in the pool. If you have any issues, Chris will respond quickly and take care of whatever needs to be done. We can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved it! It felt like home away from home. It was close to the beach. The pool was great and the fenced in back yard was great for the dogs! We were a bike ride to one of our favorite places to eat (Pompano Joes). The owners were very nice and responded quickly to any questions. It rained a lot, but that's ok, we love being at the ocean! Late review, sorry! We stayed at this wonderful property earlier this year for two weeks. 4 adults and 2 dogs. The fenced in yard was wonderful for the dogs, the space inside is gorgeous, pristine and updated. The location is also fabulous, we took walks every single day through the lovely neighborhood. I would not change a thing! We loved the property so much we are booking the same two weeks again next year!!

Enjoyed our stay. Only negative things were the pool service didn't seem to do thorough cleaning and previous renters had not cleaned up after their dog. But overall Enjoyed our stay and would stay there again

The house was wonderful, perfect for 4 adults and 3 children. The pool is small but it was great for us. It is a little bit of a walk to the beach and there are no pop up tents aloud. It close to a delicious coffee shop, DQ, and pizza. We had a great time. Thanks Chris & Penny for sharing your home with us.

Great house, plenty of space, walking distance to the beach, safe neighborhood, good wifi, chairs & toys available for use, and a clean pool. House itself could be cleaner (countertops, sinks), but overall a great property. Note beach access is through the Hollywood street (not Miami street which would be a closer entry).

Murphy's law for this vacation. Midweek and lightning struck the house about 4 in the morning. We called Chris and Penny to let them know of all the damage. They were great communicating with us and letting me know how to turn some things back on and when service tech would show up. They offered to put us up in a hotel until the air conditioner and hot water tank were fixed. It is such a nice house and well appointed. We look forward to coming back in future years.

This house has everything you’d need. It’s close to the beach and great for early morning walks. We enjoyed our time and the owner was easy to communicate with before, during and after our stay. We would stay here again. I would check the fence gate. We had a cute little stray dog pop up in the back yard one day.

Loved the short walk to the private beach access. The pool was very warm but that’s to be expected in August. House had everything we needed and such a great backyard. Some locations of the home didn’t seem to be cleaned well by the company who cleans, dog hair behind some chairs and kitchen hadn’t been deep cleaned but beds were incredibly comfortable and bathrooms were spacious and nice. Would stay here again.

Quick walk to the beach and what a great beach crew from La Dolce Vita! Wonderful to have chairs and umbrella set up every day. The house is well sorted and has most everything one could need in the kitchen. Margaret responded to questions quickly and had very good instructions waiting for us. Plenty of options for food shopping are nearby too. I wish we could have stayed for the month.
